Stayed here for one night for a mixture of business and pleasure and had a very comfortable stay. The location is slap bang in the middle of central Glasgow and it suited my needs perfectly. Dinner exceed my expectations - the fish soup was excellent. (Although I would be surprised to learn that the roll had been made from freshly... more

We booked this hotel because we wanted somewhere in the centre so were well prepared for the level of noise that we would encounter and actually kept the windows closed and used the air con - which although working we couldnt make it go lower than 19 degrees, and as it was over 30 in Glasgow for the days we... more

Spent one night in Glasgow with my wife to go to the Opera and stayed here. Location of hotel is great and, as others have said, the staff are very good, really friendly at reception. On arrival my wife's status was recognised.... which was nice..... and we were upgraded to the Cornell Suite....wow we thought a suite!!!! After a hiccup... more

Thanks you for your review, however I was disappointed to learn of some of the problems you experienced during your visit. With regards to your upgrade to the Cornell Suite, I appreciate your comments regarding the naming of the room which may imply a bigger room than you received. The hotel has four different standards of room; standard, executive, junior...

We stayed here, in the Renoir suite for a weekend break. The suite was well laid out and had a rather old and rustic feel about it. Not my style but nice, clean and tidy never the less. The suite was split into three rooms. The living area, the bedroom, and the bathroom. The living area was equipped with Satellite... more

Located 5 minutes walk from Queen Street train station. Cleanliness of hotel was first class. Stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. Breakfast was very ample and varied. Staff were very helpful, courteous and very pleasant and that includes the front desk staff, the waitresses and the girl who cleaned our room. We stayed in this hotel a couple of... more

Stayed here for 1 night, my second visit here. Welcomed nicely. Location is good convenient for many things. Room fine for what its is advertised as although I share the view about the TV position. Could do with a better size one more traditionally placed. Room and bathroom both clean. The bed was fine. The bar closed earlier than I... more

Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel and our facilities. As hotel residents, we are able to offer drinks 24 hours per day, but the bar will close around 11pm if there are no guests to serve. However, as witnessed during your stay, we are more than happy to open again should there be guests requiring it....

Stayed here in November & got another good deal at £60 a night B & B via Holiday Inn website. Just as good as last time. Although the furniture is a little dated, the room was spotless, the bathroom gleamed. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly & helpful. Will stay again. more

Good clean hotel in a very central location in the Glasgow City centre. The only caveat I would state is that we ate out or brought food in because the hotel prices were pricey for North Americans. more
