3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My stay here was booked by someone else. On reading the online reviews, I was filled with dread. However, the vast majority of these are highly exaggerated. It has all you need for overnight stays: a bed, a toilet, a shower, kettle and fridge. Great deal for the price. Only problem was that people kept mistaking our room for a... More

Alright, so I will start off with saying that you get what you pay for with this hostel, it is cheap and considering, the facilities are no prize. The place is a bit dingy and dirty, the wifi is terrible in the rooms but great in the common area, but nothing out of the ordinary for the price range. What... More

The Location is excellent, You are in the middle of everything, near a bus station, 2 free museums, a university that is straight out of a video game. lots of shops, pound land, world buffet, gigantic park with duck pond, pubs, shopping district, modern art gallery. beautiful churches, cheap samosas for only a pound down the street, a church and... Brilliant, whoever can argue at 14 pound a night needs there head looking at, perfect location, good people and even had a jacuzzi, my only grumble is there was about 7 lunatics right outside the hostel hitting a car with a sledgehammer but to be fair it did look really satisfying and fun and apparently it was there own car... made the mistake of not reading these reviews before booking and it is a terrible hostel. so disgusting. uncomfortable beds. filthy. common room has old towels lying around old furniture which has clearly come off the streets and falling apart. our room wasn't even in the main building it was across the road in some old ruined building..scared to even... After reading the reviews and Todd's replies on TripAdvisor and Facebook, how can you not give this place a try? First off, check-in was a breeze. Staff there are pretty amazing people. They're always up for a chat in the kitchen area. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy. Note that you get to choose whichever beds are free, grey bunks... More

This place is a real hostel...... Good for anyone who wants cheap accommodation and to meet others and have a good time. Old building etc but the hostel description is honest about this. Beds and public areas/toilets etc were clean. Awesome staff. Decent location, close to museums and pubs and a tesco 2min walk away. A lot of bad reviews... More

This is the worst hostel I have ever stayed in, and I'm a seasoned backpacker. We booked a triple share room with ensuite. Not only was our bathroom non functional, but it was nailed shut. The worst part was the unbearable smell of intense sewerage. The smell of poo and mould was so unbearable, not to mention the broken window... More

Well reading other reviews and news about this hotel, I was a little uncomfortable to confirm my booking here but on the basis of some positive reviews I decided to stay here for 2 nights. Well I must say the stay was totally worth. At this cost, I think they provide the best possible. I would like to tell that... More
