Got to the hotel and our booking hadn't been out through their system, eventually while we stood at reception, they found the booking but as it hadnt been put through the system, they were now fully booked but we weren't told this, we just overheard the person on reception calling their sister hotel (Alexander Thompson ) .the other hotel had... Had a booking for one night for a concert that was booked 3 months in advance. Got a fantastic deal on late rooms.com for a family room for 4people. After a 45minute journey we arrived at this fairly nice hotel only to be told no sorry there is no booking. We produced a confirmation email sent at the time of... More

What a great place to stay. The staff are so friendly and very helpful. We had a twin bed room on the first floor and there was every thing we needed. Coffee/tea facilities ,tv ,plenty towels and shower soaps. Because its a listed building there is not a lift so there are a lot of stairs to the reception area... More

What a lovely hotel. Right in the centre of Glasgow. Bedroom beautiful and clean. Kettle with tea/coffee etc. Bottles of water and biscuits. Breakfast was very filling. Nightshift staff was hilarious, he compared my mum to Mrs Brown. This is a definite comeback

No, really. Thats not a typo. This is the worst hotel I have EVER visited, and I am well travelled! Had an upper floor room... stairs, blah, new about those so cant complain. Room was filthy, furniture only fit for the skip, broken and horrific. Look at the traveller photos. Bed was uncomfortable and sloped badly as mattress was knackered.... More

I trusted my travel companion to book our accommodation. I'm not sure she checked reviews because if she had I doubt we would have stayed here. Our room was spacious, but pillows were some of the thinnest I have ever seen. No flat sheet on the bed: just a doona and fitted sheet. Security very poor. You're allowed to leave... More

As the cheapest hotel I could find in Glasgow, I had pretty low expectations. BUT, the bed was clean and comfortable, the shower was hot and the breakfast edible and generous in quantity. OK the fruit salad was tinned, but this IS Glasgow. Don't expect a swish lobby and staff to fulfil your every whim, and there are a lot... More

I stayed here with business and was very disappointed. The hotel is very dated and tired looking. It is in central location however not the nicest of areas. I felt the bedroom door wasn't very secure and windows weren't the best. The noise from the main road kept me awake all night. My bed actually vibrated when large buses went... More

We booked for the wrong date and asked for it to be changed Hotel refused to our money and will not communicate with us. If this is their customer service way of working relieved we did not have to visit the hotel Based on what I have experienced before even getting to the hotel it must be grim
