This hotel is in Union Street Glasgow and has a very small entrance way - just a normal door - if you weren't looking for it you wouldn't know it was there !! Actually even if you are looking for it you have to take a double take to confirm - Ah there is it !! You can't get much... More

Well, you get what you pay for, if you want the Ritz, best avoid this hotel, however if you want, cheap, cheerful and central, and don't mind a mini workout every time you leave your room, then this will do for you. There's no lift, and there is no avoiding stairs, one flight up to reception, then a further three... More

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel first night was in a twin room at the front of the hotel which was noisy if you are a light sleeper. And on the 2nd night we were in single rooms which were very quite, ample and had great night sleep. Patrick on the reception desk was JUST A HOOT... Defo a credit to... More

I was anticipating a Hotel with a strong theme on Mackintosh but I was disappointed. There were small smatterings of his designs dotted about the place but more like awareness than a general theme. It’s not easy to find the place; I had to ask a few people for help. When walking into the place I had a Deja vu... More

Booked this hotel on a budget, and it was fair for what I paid. It's a great location. I was a little worried about how secure the hotel was when we returned after dinner and the main hotel door was surrounded by men, just hanging about - there was no security to get in the main door. But staff were... More

Thank goodness we were only here for one night for a concert! Horrible, miserable, dirty dive! We were on the 4th floor which was a killer with lots of small steep winding steps (no lift) The bed was awful, I had to put clothes under my pillow to raise the one skinny pillow up a bit. The wardrobe was ancient,the... More

Have just arrived. Room is nice for the price (£39). Needs a lick of paint, that loses 1 mark & having to use resident's lounge for wi-fi instead my room loses another. Location for travelling is brilliant, right in the city centre & next to Central Station. Reception staff were very helpful. Just on a personal point, yet again I... More

I got a pretty good deal for a one night stay at this hotel. It is conveniently located next to Glasgow Central Station in a Victorian building. The receptionist was very welcoming and informative. I must admit, I wasn't expecting an on-suite bathroom but my room had one as well as comfortable beds. You can also help yourself to a... More

Stayed here on 22nd November and was dreading it after reading the reviews... We stayed in Room 17.., Reception Staff were lovely... Parking right outside, you need to report to reception to get a voucher to pop inside your car... Room was immaculate... Bed was more than comfortable.... Bathroom and shower was spot on.... And the breakfast in the morning... More
