I got a pretty good deal for a one night stay at this hotel. It is conveniently located next to Glasgow Central Station in a Victorian building. The receptionist was very welcoming and informative. I must admit, I wasn't expecting an on-suite bathroom but my room had one as well as comfortable beds. You can also help yourself to a... More

Parking right outside, you need to report to reception to get a voucher to pop inside your car... Room was immaculate... Bed was more than comfortable.... Bathroom and shower was spot on.... And the breakfast in the morning... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights, having read previous reviews we didn't know what to expect but it was excellent value for money. It is in a central location, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was on the top floor so the stairs were a pain ( no lift ) but we knew what... More

I booked this hotel due to it being so close to the Central Glasgow Rail station which was wonderful since I had a huge suitcase to lug around for a few weeks. It's not at all fancy, no free wifi in the room (though in a lounge area), and as I found out when I arrived, 2 flights of stairs... More

Room needed to be completely refurbished. The wardrobe was old and broken and they kept a chair in front of it to keep this closed. The duvet size was too small for two people in the bed and when we requested an additional bed cover they asked us to go and collect it at reception which was 3 floors down... More

We have to concur with the comment about the male receptionist he was offhand and didn't make much eye contact when we checked in. It doesn't give a good impression of the hotel when guests aren't greeted warmly upon arrival. Good location and it was surprisingly quiet at night, which is a positive. Room was warm and clean towels provided.... More

I booked this hotel online and cost 40 quid. It is extremely well situated within in the city of Glasgow. Upon arrival, the Irish male receptionist was a bit frosty and unwelcoming. he had a 'here we go again attitude'. That said, I was checked in and the room I was given was situated right at the very top of... More

Booked for a night, and would never book again! Room was like something from Fawlty Towers! Hardly any room to move, beds very uncomfortable and they kept sliding about every time one of us moved.... Total rip off! Staff and breakfast the only plus from visit! 😠😠 needs major renovation and decoration.
