Hotel is a 2 min walk from Glasgow Central station so perfectly located for weary travellers. Very handy for a number of restaurants, bars and shops. Basic hotel, but the room was surprisingly nice if on the small side. I was surprised by the quality of toiletries provided. For the price this was a great hotel and the full scottish... More

The Rennie Mackintosh Station Hotel is one of the oldest Victorian buildings in Glasgow and is part of the beautiful Central Station building. As such it is ideally situated in the heart of Glasgow for business or pleasure. What I did not realise when I booked the hotel for a two night stay was that it is far from ideally... More

My sister actually booked this hotel. If I had researched hotels I would not have booked this one. Twin room (335) £54 No lift! (To be fair this was stipulated in the booking print out near the bottom page) room up 3 flights of stairs. Luckily had just back pack as only staying one night. Parking available! Where? No idea.... Reading the reviews im thinking mmm... Not too sure honest this hotel is on a busy street which is assesable with most buses had you wish to use them. You are right in the heart of the city location is the best to be honest everything is a stone throw away if you want quiet and silent over night then... More

This hotel was just so convenient - around the corner from the station so we did not have far to carry our cases. We were early so left them there and felt very sorry for other people dragging cases around Glasgow to hotels further afield. We had a big room, very clean. It's a city location so you do get... Given the name of the hotel, I was relatively hopeful that previous reviewers were being a little harsh......but sadly not! The entrance is a single doorway directly off Union Street which leads onto a tartan carpeted stairway an up to flights of stairs to reception. Okay so far - the member of staff at check-in couldn't have been less disinterested... More

Very basic and outdated. Not the cleanest either. Rather noisy at night especially with the main street and the train station. Not the easiest to find and you may walk past it several times. Staff seem friendly.

This place is very poor. My shower was in the wardrobe (I am not joking) Tired room with holes in the wall all over the place where previous fixtures and fittings had been removed. The bed was small and uncomfortable. Generally the place needs a enormous renovation. Breakfast was poor in the extreme but then I think I was expecting... More

Was looking for accommodation as had a training event to attend - this was on the night of the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony. Finding reasonably priced accommodation was gonna be hard, so was delighted when I found a single room available here for £54. The room was small and on a slight slope, but provided all that I needed for... More
