Dear Reviewer, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay and I am glad that in general the experience was favourable. Unfortunately being in the heart of the city centre we do experience the noise from traffic, please do advise us if you plan to return and I will ensure we allocate a room at the back of...

My mate and I spent two nights here recently - we were going to the theatre and indulging in some retail therapy. This hotel was excellent value, and I would certainly recommend it. Positive points: - very close to city centre, shopping, theatres etc - Buchanan Galleries parking is ideal (make sure you get your ticket stamped by hotel) -... more

I’ve stayed in this hotel on a number of occasions - normally when I'm in Glasgow for some music/theatre event. It's on the edge of the city centre, so everything is very handy with easy access to mainline trains and the underground. The Hotel is modern, well maintained and very clean with well appointed rooms. The Hotel staff are (I.M.H.O)... more

Reception was quick and efficient. Ask for a quiet room as all rooms on every floor up to number x71 faces the bys and noisy road. Get a room that starts after x73 (i.e. 173, 175, etc.) as these rooms are also refurbished! Location is very central and the public car park is next to the hotel which is free... more

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay with us. Thank you also for pointing out to future guests where the quieter rooms are located, it should be noted however that all 'even' number rooms also overlook the back of the Hotel. I'm not sure about the free car parking you mention, the car park...

Great hotel for a city break in Glasgow. We were in Glasgow for the Celtic Connections festival and the hotel was perfectly located being just oppposite the concert hall. A very clean and comfortable hotel with everything you need for a short break. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful. Our double room was quite spacious and the bathroom very... more

Location : within 10 minutes easy walk from Glasgow Queen Street railway station and there is also a multistorey car park across the road. You are right in the city centre for shopping and also within 15 minutes walk from RCPSG. Facilities : Simple clean reasonably warm room with window, tv, phone, coffee / tea making facilities. The en-suite was... more

After reading the good reviews on Tripadvisor, I booked the room direct on their website. I stayed here one night on business in December 2008. Hotel The hotel itself is in the centre of Glasgow, a couple of minutes walk from Buchanan bus station. Check-in The check-in was really easy. I arrived quite late (9pm) and it was a welcome... more

Stayed here 2 nights in December while visiting family. Check in simple and quick, room was clean, good size and despite facing the front was also quiet! Breakfast was ok for what we paid for, its help yourself buffett continental style (although pay a bit extra and stay in holiday inn next door for fanstastic breakfast!) Only complaint we have... more

Dear Reviewer, Thank you for your comments further to your stay in the Hotel. I am sorry the bed was not to your liking - beds as you know are a very personal choice, the next person to stay in the room may well have preferred a slightly harder mattress. You may be pleased to hear however that we are...

Stayed for one night after seeing a concert in town. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was very clean and had a large shower. The room was back-facing so there was no problem with noise at all. The reception staff were helpful in ordering a taxi and for checking in and out. The breakfast was good... more

Stayed one night in this hotel - very pleasant check in staff. We were told we could order food from the neighbouring restaurant and it would be delivered to the hotel for our collection. Dear Reviewer, Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay with us. I am sorry you experienced the problem with your food delivery from the adjoining restaurant, there did appear to be a problem with the direct line dial through, which is currently being rectified.
