On the plus side, location is great for theatres, shopping, transport, pubs and restaurants etc. The staff were friendly and professional. The downsides... small room, could just walk round the bed but stubbing toes every time! To be fair, possibly most properties on this street could have similar sized rooms as we stopped a couple of doors away last year... More

A good basic guest house in an excellent location for Glasgow City Centre and the West End. Rooms are clean and adequate, if a little dated - a bit like university halls of residence - and good value for money. I stayed in a single room an en suite and specifically requested a window. I would recommend other travellers doing... More

Rooms have TV, comfortable bed, wardrobe, desk & coffee making facilities and you have control of the heating in your room. For the non en-suites toilets might be a flight of stairs away. Rooms at the back are very quiet, while rooms at the front are quiet (surprising since the hotel is the next street to Sauchiehall Street) - there... More

Good location, 5-10 minutes walking to city centre. Free wifi reliable and rooms were clean with decent facilities. Cooked breakfast available in large breakfast room and staff very friendly. Would stay here again.

Very well situated: in the center of the city, close to bus station (10 min walk). Room was just fine, clean and spacious enough for one person. Staff kind and service-minded. Liked the idea of having breakfast room downstairs and the breakfast itself. Although the separate taps for cold and hot water in the sink in the room was a... More

Stayed for one night, chosen for its location near to the main coach/bus station. On arrival we were booked in by a very pleasant young man who on discovering that it was our first visit to Glasgow provided us with a street map and marked on the main shopping areas. The room, which was a double with en suite, was clean and... More

Well located only a few minutes walk from Sauchiehall Street and about 20 mins from the station and George Square for the HOHO bus. Traditional guesthouse with friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and quite rooms. Overall pleased with our stay and thought it was good value for money

Hotel very quiet so good for sleep. Good value at 70 quid a night for a family room. Steep stairs to entrance and outside so not suitable for those with disabilities. Friendly staff and breakfast perfectly adequate. Good location parallel to Sauchiehall St. Would stay here again.
