Great location, staff very helpful and friendly, includes b/fast which is great but room very very small, no window at all making it seem even smaller. Shower was crap. No pressure at all. Could have been cheaper really.

Brilliant staff..room clean and tidy..breakfast included in the price.....very well located for kings theatre and sauchiehall street for all the shops/restaurants and bars. .. my only downfall is there is alot of stairs, so would not recommend for people with mobility problems but i will definitely be returning.

We were only staying one night and wanted something cheap and central which was exactly what this hotel was. Family run, we got a warm welcome from Indy on day 1. He gave us great advice on where to go out and life in Glasgow. From the train station it's quite a walk, if advise on getting a taxi as... More

Good things were the location, value for money and the newly installed shower and wet room. Bad things were the out dated decor, holey towels, and the weird funky smell which we had to leave the window open the whole of our stay. But it was a last minute booking on a gig night in the city so can't complain.

This hotel is nicely situated in the centre of Glasgow, some steep streets to get there though! Service is extremely friendly, very hard working people. We got there by bus from the airport for 26 pounds for the 5 of us, on the way back the manager arranged a taxi for us, for 18 pounds, so we saved 8 pounds... More

Location: The guesthouse is located on Renfrew St near Buchanan Bus station which is great. However the buildings do not have numbers so I was unsure at first if I was going the right way & it wasn't easy as I was dragging behind a suitcase on uneven street. Hint: Go Uphill as that is where all the guesthouses/B&Bs are... More

Great Location only a few minutes walk from Sauchiehall Street and about 15 mins from George Square for the bus. Traditional guesthouse, friendly and helpful, good breakfast and clean rooms. Great value for money

On the plus side, location is great for theatres, shopping, transport, pubs and restaurants etc. The staff were friendly and professional. The downsides... small room, could just walk round the bed but stubbing toes every time! To be fair, possibly most properties on this street could have similar sized rooms as we stopped a couple of doors away last year... More

A good basic guest house in an excellent location for Glasgow City Centre and the West End. Rooms are clean and adequate, if a little dated - a bit like university halls of residence - and good value for money. I stayed in a single room an en suite and specifically requested a window. I would recommend other travellers doing... More

Rooms have TV, comfortable bed, wardrobe, desk & coffee making facilities and you have control of the heating in your room. For the non en-suites toilets might be a flight of stairs away. Rooms at the back are very quiet, while rooms at the front are quiet (surprising since the hotel is the next street to Sauchiehall Street) - there... More
