I've stayed at this place probably 100 times in 4-5 years for a regular 2 weekly single evening appointment in Glasgow about 8 months of each year. I get an excellent deal as a regular and am often upgraded to double rooms or ensuites for no extra charge when they have them free. Sometimes I am even upgraded to their... More

Well what can i say we arrived on a friday mid afternoon, took on look at the area and was a wee put off. We entrered the reception pressing a bell for entrance, nice one very security minded. How pleasent and helpful the young lady was. She explained the parking and how close we were to the bussle of everything.... More

The Guest House is well situated, with easy access to the City Centre and travel links. Public areas are relatively minimal aside from the dining hall where the free breakfast is served. The cooked breakfast is pretty decent and contains egg, bacon, sausage, beans, mushrooms, hash brown and potato scone. Other options are available including free-serve fruit, cereal, toast, yoghurts... More

When I arrived, the front door was being varnished and I met pleasant people on the desk, including the offer of a discount if I returned, and thought I was in for a pleasant stay. How wrong I was. The whole place is grubby, and there is an air of not quite neglect, but indifference and lack of ambition, to... More

Will never choose this guest house again. The staff in the morning were unfriendly. There was a terrible smell in the breakfast room which made me feel like I didn't want to stay in the room for too long for fear of my clothes smelling of old chip fat.

The hotel was most disappointing, someone had left the windows open all day in the room, the room was freezing, like a walk in fridge. I turned on the radiator and all the wallpaper was ripped off surrounding the radiator. We went to hang our clothes up in the wardrobe, there were no hangers, I went to call reception but... More

Booked then looked at reviews. Wasn't looking forward to going. On arrival was met by pleasant girl. Stairs were needing a good hoovering and musty smell. Bedroom was spotless and bedding was new. Bathroom was clean but marked by damp and mould. Wud go back

My friend and I stayed here on a Wednesday night. It's a great location for staying in the centre of Glasgow. The twin room was only £36 for the night and I suppose you get what you pay for, but there is no excuse for uncleanliness! There was a musty smell when we got in the room so we opened... More

I stayed at this guest house for three nights in September 2013 when at a conference at the SECC. I paid about £40 a night for B&B and thought this was a low price compared to other establishments in Glasgow. My room was a double one and had plenty of furniture for clothes — basic stuff but adequate. (I have... More
