Stayed in the hotel before and as previously, found the rooms very pleasant , the staff were really polite and helpful, breakfast was more than adequate and I would recomend this hotel for any one looking for a cheap bights stay in Glasgow

I needed a reasonably priced hotel not too far from the SECC. This hotel appeared clean - if a little shabby in the reception, although that was being rectified when I visited. My room was bright, clean, not too noisy- even though just off Sauchiehall Street, and the tea making facilities were more than adequate. A taxi was called when... More

This hotel is probably the worst that I have ever stayed in. The hotel itself was filthy. The front desk staff on checking in was rude and unhelpful. We complained that the room reeked of tobacco smoke and was told to open the window, only to find that the rubbish from the kitchens was right outside. The toilet didn't flush... More

This is an old fashioned and rather ugly looking (from the outside) hotel on one of Glasgow's busiest roads, close to the main station and overlooking a derelict building. But it's a great place to stay and I will happily return here when I'm next in town. Yes the rooms and bathrooms are a little on the small side, the... More

Stayed here for one night in October 2014, just a 15 min walk from queen St station and right next door to Glasgow Central. Room was clean and spacious. Well supplied with tea, coffee and cookies. Lots of towels too and bathroom/ shower had plenty of toiletries. For the price I paid couldn't believe the buffet breakfast it had everything.... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in October 2014. We arrived in Glasgow in the middle of the night and it took us only 15 min on foot to get from Buchanan Bus Station to the hotel. The location is great, really great, and that is the main reason why I would recommend the hotel. The hotel... More

Walked in and straight away knew it wasn't,t going to be very clean. Carpets throughout needed a good Hoover. The room comfy but same not clean enough, slept under duvet cover as the duvet itself was covered in all sorts of STAINS........ not good. Very noicey from street at night. Breakfast was fine nothing special.

Stayed here for one night and thought it was great value for money. The location is perfect for shopping and transport links. The rooms are spacious and spotless. What also made it good was the friendly attentive staff and fantastic cooked breakfast. We will definately stay again

As soon as we walked in we knew that we'd be walking back out. The reception area is not at all inviting, there are posters up everywhere to let you know that there is 24/7 CCTV, the area is old and dated and dirty looking. Our rooms were very dated, so whoever had the "refurbished to a high standard room"... More

Arrived on Saturday around 12.30 and was abruptly told that the rooms weren't ready. We asked to leave our luggage and it seemed a chore for the guy on reception. The room had a very strong smell of tobacco and looked generally tired. The water from the toilet hit you in the leg when you flushed! The noise from the... More
