Stayed on a three-day leisure break in the city The location is great - on Argyle Street west of Grand Central Station. and about a three-minute walk from it. Pubs, clubs and restaurants abound in the near vicinity and, for shopping, Buchanan St is only a ten-minute walk. The rooms are described as simple, which they are, but they have... More

If you are staying here, make sure they have confirmed that you are staying here. I am currently trying to sort out with booking.com as the hotel wanting to charge me no show fee despite I stayed there and had breakfast there. What worse, I paid upon arrival and have receipt printed. The hotel itself is okay and cleanish. Good... More

We got this place for a great price(compared to others in Glascow.) We were only staying overnight in order to catch the Ferry out the next day(and taking a big chunk of the day to drive down from Skye). Plus we wanted to say that we at least hit Glascow. Not much to be said for Glascow though - big... More

Very central hotel, basic but quite decent, great for a couple of nights stay, but wouldn,t stay any longer, just what you need if your out all day, with plenty of hot water and a good breakfast. Needs refurbished very basic.

Chose hotel as location was good as near the station. However, once inside the hotel was quite a disappointment. Had asked for an upper room with bath well in advance but the room booked did not have bath. On asking about this I was given another room which although it had a bath looked like it must have been the... More

We booked at the hotel as a last minute overnight stay. The cost of the room was £53 for two adults including breakfast-super cheap! Check in was quick and hassle free. Generally the hotel is run down and in need of modernising but appeared clean. Room was basic but clean, tidy and comfortable. Bathroom was very dated, a little grubby... More

This place is good value and it places you right in Glasgow city centre. You're not far from the train station so it's easy to find. A lot of the hotel smells of smoke, so if you don't like the smell of cigarette smoke then be advised. The staff are fairly polite, and it's easy to check in and out... More

This hotel is a 5 minute walk from Glasgow Central station and is probably somewhat cheaper than some other hotels in Argyle Street. Good character with high ceilings and a nice staircase. Rooms clean but furniture and finishings a bit shabby. Shower really difficult to adjust. Warm, room not designed for sitting but has t.v., wi-fi (struggles) and hospitality tea... More
