This hotel is ideally located for the Hydro, town centre, Buchanan Gallery's and subway to various locations in Glasgow. The closest train station is Central which is just on the next street up from the hotel, but Queen street is about a 15min walk, as is the subway. The hotel seemed to be getting some minor refurbishment when we booked which... More

Stayed here for 2 night's at the weekend with my wife. Room was clean and comfortable, walls could do with a lick of paint or a wash to get rid of the scuff marks and the bathroom was spotless except for a nasty tobacco smell that seemed to come from the extractor fan but it wasn't constantly there. I have... More

6 off us stayed here for a night for £156 between two rooms, very competitive rate, staff very friendly and really good buffet breakfast. Rooms very spacious and clean, if a little dated, plenty hot water ,tea/coffee/biscuits and plenty toiletries supplied , If you are looking for a budget stay with a great breakfast near the centre and are not... This is a great hotel if you book early and manage to get a good offer. Bathrooms are nice, shower was clean and warm. Bedrooms are warm and cosy and there is wardrobe space as well as an iron, ironing board, hairdrier, bottles of water, tea/coffee and cookies. Breakfast was so much better than I expected, absolutley fantastic for being... More

Stayed for 2 nights last weekend, and, again, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Room very comfortable, and spacious. Only wee issue was, asked for double room ,and was given twin, and by time we arrived, hotel was fully booked. The breakfast was tremendous, back to it's wonderful best! Last couple of stays, had been a bit disappointed with this meal, but,... More

If you are looking for real value for money, then this fits the bill.Comfy beds, good shower and a decent buffet breakfasts. Stayed with friends on a particularly cold January stay, so the dining room was a bit chilly, but that was the only minor downside.

We used to stay here all the time when visiting Glasgow due to it's great location. The new, updated rooms in here are lovely and modern, but the old ones are pretty horrible. Very large, clean rooms and the new ones have excellent power showers. Reception and the lift isn't up to much and we've never tried the breakfast, we... More

I stayed in a double room to myself. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. There was a tea and coffee station with really delicious cookies and ironing and hair drying facilities. The room and bathroom were huge. The breakfast that was included in the price of the room was really good too. Lots of options. The staff were... More

I've stayed in some excellent hotels in Glasgow such as the Marriott and the Radisson which are both quite close to this hotel, but are twice the price! I'm not saying this hotel is up to those standards, it isn't, but it is a good hotel with good sized clean rooms and they serve an excellent breakfast. For one or... More
