The double room we had was TINY. As was our friend's next door. There was a problem with the heating in our room and we asked for a heater (which was promptly delivered) but there was nowhere to stand it on the floor so it spent the weekend on the dressing table ! But the decor was bright and contemporary and... more

We had booked the hotel to go to a concert, got a good rate of £48 - unfortunately concert fell through but as we had pre-paid we decided to take the room and have a night out in the city. Minimal parking but they do have arrangements with a nearby car park. Parked on street (Saturday night no charges). Room... more

I recently stayed in this hotel for a weeekend, and found it to be average. I had previously stayed in the hotel several years back, and although the hotel was clean, i felt that the hotel had aged, and is in need of upgrading. The staff were friendly and i felt it was good value for money for people requiring... more

What can you say - it's a Holiday Inn! Nice, modern, clean and well furnished rooms, with bright, well - cleaned bathrooms. Friendly and helpful reception service, and a useful bar area. Didn't try the restaurant, but the buffet breakfast was great - nice, quality ingredients, with as much haggis (honestly) as you could eat. A good base for just... more

I stayed here for one night in August. The staff were really nice and helpful. The room was clean/bathroom with all mod con/mini bar. It cost only £55 per night which was great value. Location is also quite central with all shops/train stations only a short distance away. I would stay here again. NB don't smoke in the rooms. Someone... more

My mom and I stayed here recently for 2 nights and were very pleasantly surprised. We were able to check in early; our room was surprisingly bigger than we were expecting (coming from Canada and hearing how all hotel rooms in the UK/Europe were *tiny*); it was very quiet & clean; and we could not have had a better location.... more

This is a relatively good hotel in Glasgow terms. Good central city centre location. Modern rooms. Only let down by extremely limited on-site parking (and in my experience long queues at check-in and check-out. Each time there was someone complaining about a bar bill and with only one trainee on the desk it took forever!). Some of the end of... more

We stayed at the 9th floor, the room looked as it had not been refurbished for ages, and had several technical problems like air conditioning and minibar not working. The taps in the bathroom are of very old type, one for cold and one for hot water. Lampbulbs missing and paint coming off the walls. But beds were very comfortable... more

We have been in the hotel for a congres and business meetings. All the facilities are there and also for a nice price. The hotel is situated in the centre of Glasgow and the station is only 5 minutes away. The hotel is clean and tidy and the service is fantastic. This has been the third time we stayd in... more

If you want a fantastic time you definitely have to go to this hotel. All the facilities you need are there. In the first place there is the internal restaurant Jiles; the food is very good and cheap. At second place there is a nice bar with pool. If you want to go to the swimming pool, fitness or sauna... more
