In short - booked hotel pre consulting trip advisor and when I did consult good old TA I was really quite worried the hotel would be an expensive disappointment. I shouldn't have - it was very good. Clean, spacious, extremely friendly and efficient staff made our stay lovely. There's no doubt the hotel needs to be updated but the management... More

This hotel is ideally centrally located next to Queen Street Rail Station. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is noisy at night because of the location. The rooms are tired and need urgent upgrading. The bathroom was large but the facilities antiquated. Both the plug in the sink and the bath did not work ....... More

Stay was average as was breakfast for the price. Location great, next to Queens Station and on George Square. Someone walked into our room with a pass key and we weren't given an explanation. This rattled us.

I was really looking forward to my stay at the Millennium Hotel, Glasgow in September 2014 but it failed to live up to expectations on so many levels. The hotel has a great central location for shopping and transport links but that’s about it. I only stayed in my allocated room for 5 minutes and during this time I listened... More

I stayed here for one night on a business trip. The hotel, which is immediately opposite George Square, is looking a bit tired and could do with a bit of a refurbishment. It was comfortable enough but the rooms are not large and there were not many sockets in the room to plug all those devices into. Hotels often don't... More

We spent 3 nights there. Originally, we were worried as the hotel is being worked on/updated, but we didn't see any construction anywhere. We had a club room, which I would recommend. We faced onto George Square. The room was large and great windows to look out of at the historic statues and happenings. Our first night there was the... More

Have stayed here a few times over the years with work as sometimes the only hotel available within budget. Location is great and the hotel is good, maybe a few areas need attention. Room 236 large, comfortable and overlooking George Sq. Arrived late after a long day and decided to have room service. Ordered the 8oz rib eye steak with... More

Wide hallways and excellent location add to the character of this hotel. Not as faded and cramped as many British hotels. Good breakfast and easy access to Queen Street Scotrail station, Buchanan Street just one block away. Typical problems with fixtures, to be expected at British accommodation.

Overall we were disappointed with this hotel. We arrived at around 2:00 pm and our room was not ready. In saying this I want to state the hotel staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Also the hotel was centrally located. However, the rooms are in need of a make over as it is very dated. The carpets were not very... More
