Hotel staff very pleasant and welcoming. Arrived a bit early for our booking not a problem , table was ready we were shown to a lovely table in the Braserrie overlooking George Sguare . Food was very tasty and generous portions for a lunch menu. Service a bit slow to begin with but picked up the pace , no complaints... More

The breakfast was really good. The room was very large and felt comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location wise it was a very short walk to tons of shopping and a train station. There is lots of good restarunts very close by. One down side...we rented a car and there is no hotel parking so that was an... More

The hotel is REALLY run down and in desperate need of a refurbish! When we checked into our Luxury Suite we were not impressed. We had specifically requested the highest grade room so that we had the most space (there were 3 of us staying) and because we thought that room type looked the best on the internet advertising. The... More

We recently stayed athe the millennium hotel in Glasgow while we were attending a wedding. The wedding party had arranged coaches to leave George square at 1230 (to Loch Lomond wedding venue) so the hotel was perfectly placed!! We e-mailed asking about an early check in- we were told they would try their best to arrange this! We arrived at... More

You step out into George Square which is as central in Glasgow as you can be. The hotel has an arrangement to use Caledonian University gym for £4 a session, and this is a fantastic gym. We had club rooms which meant free wine was served each day between 5 and 7 pm in the Club Room (very nice white... More

Arrived at hotel to be told we had been upgraded to a suite. Suite was huge and in good condition. Stay was interrupted by a fire alarm but this cant be helped. Breakfast was a buffet and nothing special. Bar service was good and conservatory at the front was good to sit and people watch. Would recommend this hotel as... More

This hotel has a great location on George Square, so central access to trains, shopping, HoHo buses, etc. The hotel was modern and clean, with an attractive room and spacious bathroom. The Wi-fi was a bit of a mess. Breakfast was an acceptable continental with a view of the Square.

I had stayed at the hotel decades ago when I think it was called Copthorne. My memories were of what was once a high standard Railway hotel which was beginning to creak at the edges, but overall a pleasant enough stay. I arrived late in the evening (approx 22.30h) and my suspicions were aroused when the reception clerk took ages... More

My wife and I had 2 nights there. It was very good value - a lot cheaper than most. Very good location. We booked a double room and found ourselves in a twin. After a call to reception they offered us free breakfasts each morning as a good will gesture, as there were no double rooms available. We happily accepted... More
