Got a great rate on line, standard Ibis hotel with friendly staff. A little far from Central railway station by foot but only £3.50 by taxi which arrive quickly when called by the hotel. Nothing outside the front door so buy your snacks etc before heading back to the hotel.

Great room, very welcoming and obliging staff. Parking in Glasgow is generally expensive but hotel offers a discount in a nearby multi-storey (£12 per 24hrs). Don't have anything else to say but Trip Advisor won't let me submit my review unless I use 200 characters!

We stayed at the Ibis on the eve of the opening ceremony of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. As others have already said it is a simple, neat and efficient but basic hotel. For somewhere to lay one's head and take a shower it's just the ticket but don't anticipate any frills. In short it is all that one expects... More

We stayed at the Ibis in Nov 2011. Typical. Rooms & property: The establishment is a simple, meticulously neat but very basic hotel. Its good for travellers with limited budgets/students/short official trips. The decor of the room reminds somewhat of a hostel. However, even despite its central location, no noise was experienced during our stay. Location: Good location- in between... More

Our stay at the Ibis was a very experience . All the staff were very friendly and helpful - at check in and check out. Would stay there again as it was a great location to get to the center of Glasgow.

We stayed as part of a Treyn holiday at the end of June. Reception was quick and easy. Our room was basic but perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Unlimited bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms, all very well cooked. Also toast, croissants, jam, fruit etc. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Drinks prices reasonable. Ideally placed for Sauchiehall Street, where... More

Pretty typical Ibis hotel. The location is great, just a short walk from bars and some great restaurants. Despite it's central location, the rooms were very quiet and the beds were comfortable. The shower basin doesn't really contain the splash, so the floor was pretty wet in the morning. Overall, it was a pretty decent stay.

Stayed here with a group on our way up to do the 3 Peaks Challenge. We had a mini bus full of kit so didn't fancy unloading it all but wanted it within view for safety. We found free car parking space right outside the front door and the night manager offered to keep an eye on it - brilliant.... More
