The Ibis brand is the budget end of the French Accor hotel group. This hotel typifies this. It is located 5 minutes walk from the main shopping thoroughfares on a side street. Rooms are small and compact, only really for sleeping, not for lingering. Wardrobe and shelf storage space is adequate for a short stay. There was no drawer storage... More

Brilliant hotel for a business traveller. Please don't expect the rooms to be sound proof on the weekends. The student clubs like campus etc are around the corner and the area becomes a mad jam during every weekend. A definite stay if you like to party and want a place to crash a minute away from the barrels. Was a... More

Located in a quiet part 10 mins walk from city centre, although it will take longer going back as it is all uphill. Sauchiehall Street is just round the corner for some good restaurants. Rooms are looking a bit tired but reception is modern and welcoming. The room I was in had the best picture quality television I have ever... More

Considering the reasonable prices this hotel is amazing. Located close to Sauchiehall street it was clean, quiet and the breakfast was amazing quality. Whilst other people in the group complained the hotel was too warm I was really amazed and it has encouraged me to stay at other Ibis hotels.

Dear hu10 Thank you for your lovely comments about the hotel , I am glad we have been able to show you how great our brand is. In Scotland it isn't always so hot that we need cooling and our system will kick in only when the outside temperature reaches 21 degrees normally but we have adjusted this to be... More

We stayed her in February for the Film Festival as it was a good location and value for money. Front desk staff friendly, relaxed atmosphere and cleaning staff very through. BUT....cold room only heated by air conditioning unit - as the room hadn't been used for a while, it took 3 days to heat up. Noisy during weekdays - service... More

Stayed at the hotel on several occasions and will continue to come back. It is a budget hotel with a difference - focusing on great customer service. Rooms are very basic and could do with development to make it more welcoming and warm to the guests. However, i'd guest basic/simply rooms do keep the price down. If your looking for... More

We stayed here just for 1 night and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located right in the centre of Glasgow just off Sauchiehall Street. Check-in was very efficient. Really large room, not the best of views, great large spacious bathroom with double shower. really comfy bed and loads of space to store stuff and Free WIFI. Overall very... More

Stayed for 4 nights last week. Excellent value for the price! Rooms well soundproofed; slept like a log. Room clean, modern shower. Nice cooked breakfast though the cold meat options could have been better;a bit more choice. Close to shops, restaurants and pubs. Staff friendly and helpful though they had a rather confusing booking system if you prepaid as I... More

We stayed here for one week in June 2015 and were pleasantly surprised with the hotel, including the complementary breakfast. The room was "cute", small compared to North American standards, but well designed to accommodate needs. I especially liked the curved shower, surprisingly spacious. There were lots of choices for breakfast, both hot and cold. The staff were friendly and... More
