I was worried when I found my office had booked this hotel and had a read of the reviews. The room was huge and relatively clean, it was basic and the workmanship of the fittings were not of a high standard. The shower was hard to keep to a constant temperature. The hotel was a little rundown, loose doorhandles and... More

On arrival the Hotel looked a scruffy, booking in we were given room 56!!! After traipsing through corridors which had mattresses standing on end not very safe, the stairs had black tape on the edges of them again not very safe, the room was awful, carpet grotty had to wear something on your feet all the time, stains on the... Only booked it on Thursday. Checked in just after 1.30pm. Had on suite toilet up 1 floor for my single room. It was only £35.00 for bed and breakfast. I had a good day in Glasgow and when I accidentally out my room after some sleep. They helped me back in room. Would recommend.

£129 for a twin room for one night. No lift and staff did not offer to help with luggage so my daughter and I had to struggle up several flights of stairs with our bags. Carpet in halls and on stairs is held together with sticky tape. There is an odd smell in the hotel - mildew perhaps? Our room... More

Stairway a bit shabby but room was clean and modern . Excellent central location if you don't mind climbing the steep streets. No lift, so generally not good if you're not fit. Breakfast was pretty good. Excellent value for money.

I really enjoyed my 5-night stay here. I staying in a twin room with an ensuite. My room was very spacious and clean. I slept really well as it was quiet and the blinds blocked out the sun well. There was a wide selection for breakfast (hot, continental and Scottish). The location was perfect for my needs and I walked... More

I had to go to Glasgow for just one night for a funeral. This guest house was just what I needed. It was inexpensive with a great English breakfast. I paid for a single room but when I arrived and requested a quiet room I was given a double for the same price, and it was brilliantly quiet - spot... More

Last minute decision to stay in Glasgow as we were going to a gig. Good decision, not not much more than the cost of 2 of us in a private room in a hotel, this place rocked. It is a bit tatty inside, need of a good coat of paint throughout and some mould in bathroom, but generally this hotel... More

Stayed here as an emergency stopover in May 2015, as I found it on TA as a budget hotel, one stop above hostels and such. Very well located literally yards from The School of Art, so barely 5 minutes from the main centre of town. Would be ideal for shopping or central attractions. A nice hotel from the outside but... I stayed here for 2 nights after my trip through the Highlands. It's ok, that's it. Room is not very big and has seen better days. Old furniture, kind of clean. Breakfast ok. As is the pricing. Location is good, quite in the middle of Glasgow, a 10min walk from Queens Station. I'd not stay here during my next Glasgow... More
