Handy for town centre and within walking distance of local amenities, it was decent quality affordable comfortable accommodation, As a regular visitor, I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Get ready to carry your bags up multiple flights of stairs, including from the road up into the hotel. Staff is pleasant and helpful. It ends there. It's as if someone woke up one morning and decided to see what they could find as furniture, stuck it in a room (unpainted and dirty, old, cracked walls). "Closet" is made of... More

Staff were unhelpful on arrival and it took us over half an hour to find somewhere to park. A map was offered after we had parked - it wild have been useful before!! Staff throughout were fairly disinterested and sullen. Our room was grubby to say the least, spider webs, dust and dirt. The room was spacious and the beds... More

I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I only stayed one night so don't have too much to say but for £35 it is definitely value for money. Breakfast is included which I didn't take as I was up and out early but I did notice a sign that mentioned you can let them know if... More

Stayed here one night and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, and looked right out onto Renfrew Street. Close to all the places I wanted to visit ~ The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Molly Malone's, The Pavilion, & Sauchiehall Street. Close to the Buchanan Bus Station, too! Had a wonderful breakfast before continuing on my Journey. Will Definitely... More

We recently spent the weekend in Glasgow and stayed at the Victorian House for two nights and were disappointed on arrival. The hotel is not of 'Victorian' style but is old, tired and dirty and more of a hostel than hotel. There were bin bags left in hallways and the carpets were stained and ripped. The worst point was when... More

I work in Glasgow during the week and have stayed in many of the City hotels. I booked a room for 2 nights as it was fairly cheap at the time (~ £60 per night). I read some of the review after I booked and was a little worried to be honest. However, I could not fault my room. It... More

A run down and tired Hotel No lifts, be prepared to lug your suitcase to the top floor! No window, noisey creeky floors and sounded like people walking the corridors We're in my room. £114 for the attic with a window which was painted over

I was worried when I found my office had booked this hotel and had a read of the reviews. The room was huge and relatively clean, it was basic and the workmanship of the fittings were not of a high standard. The shower was hard to keep to a constant temperature. The hotel was a little rundown, loose doorhandles and... More
