If your looking fot cheap and cheerful in glasgow this is the place. Very tired looking place, no lift and I was on the top floor. Breakfast is surprisingly lovely lots to pick from. I stayed for 3 days and left early everymorning. Steps are very steep getting to the front door and to rooms.

Booked last minute for the night after the closing ceremony of the commonwealth games. Polite and friendly staff. Great location - only a 15 mins walk into Central glasgow Value for money. Room was large and spacious

Booked two nights last minute for the commonwealth games and was charged £418 within 24 hrs the room was available at almost half of what I paid so very disappointed ... It was still over priced at this though. Overall the hotel was ok but far too expensive, would not be worth more that £70 a night surely!!! We were... More

What a rip off. This hotel jumped on the games bandwagon at £200 per night Very run down hotel It has been brought I to current regulations using unsightly surface trunking and need a face lift My room stank of Dettol to mask the problems with the drains All in all a very unpleasant and unrewarding experience

I recently stayed at the Victorian house in Glasgow and found it to be an average hotel. The staff were friendly, the location was good and the breakfast was great with a variety of choices. However, the rooms were small, stank like mould, and the walls were wafer thin. I probably would consider giving another hotel a go next time... More

A friend and I stayed at this hotel for one night. The location is good. Just up from one of the main shopping streets but on a quiet road. This is one of the few hotels I've stayed in where the rooms are better than the public areas! As you enter the hotel, the hall and reception need repainting, as... More

So I checked in, fine, room was nice enough but noticed straight away bathroom was really dated. Black mould etc and cracks in the shower- fine for just me for a few nights as long as there are no other problems. Breakfast ok, wasnt expecting much but it was ok. So final night I notice a big bug crawl across... More

My 2 teens and I stayed in this charming house for 3 nights while we strolled through the heart of the Art District, Sauchiehall Street shopping, and the banks of the Clyde River.. Fantastic Breakfasts! Nice large rooms too.. Made our first Scottish visit wonderfully memorable!
