The room was clean and warm, with a good size bathroom. Building is interesting and overall visit would have been perfectly acceptable but for the hours and hours of relentless loud noise from the clientele visiting the club opposite (Sunday night through Monday (4am). I recognise this is outwith the control of the hotel owners, but I couldn't recommend you... More

Stayed for two nights,Central location, room very clean, excellent breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Strong wifi signal in room, flat screen TV,tea and coffee making facilities. No lift, spiral stairs would make it difficult for old or infirm. Overall had a great weekend and would definitely stay again. .

Great location, very helpful staff; my heavy bag was carried up the winding stairs for me. Comfortable room, good shower and adjustable radiator. Cooked breakfast for £3 extra was really good value with eggs done for you while you wait. But rather noisy at night from a club opposite.

Location: Near the centre in the old part of the city. Some noise from club/pub outside but to be expected in Glasgow. Breakfast: good variety and a good looking cooked breakfast as an optional extra. Room: not so good. Repairs to room not finished. No carpet. Dodgy window. Shower and radiator controls broken. For money spent I would have rather... More

Having read previous reviews after I had already booked the hotel I thought I was in for a bumpy ride. How wrong was I? I booked a double room. It was clean - perfectly clean. Starched bedding. It had tea/coffee. It had an ironing board. It had a TV. It also had windows you could open! The hotel is centrally... More

Charming facade, good location on side street off Argyle. A new experience to me with no elevator. It had a carpeted circular staircase in a turret. Bathroom was tiny with burning hot towel rack and a shower door that only opened half way, making it a squeeze lol. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. The bed was a double, that had a... More

I stayed in this hotel for one night. The rate was £110 including a continental breakfast. I could have paid less at a premier inn and had a far higher standard of accommodation. We stayed in a family room. The room was dusty and grubby. Bedding was clean and bed comfortable. Bathroom was tired and the shower was awful! The... More

Room was basic, but adequate and comfortable. breakfast good. But all the single rooms overlook the night club and it was EXTREMELY NOISY late at night and in the early hours. So the window had to be shut and ear plugs used.

What a shame , the noise from the polo club next to the hotel was very very loud , i was woken up at 12.40 am , with the music and people shouting .(and this was a monday night by the way), seemingly the club is open every night from 10pm till 3am..it really is a shame as the hotel... More

Not a bad place for sleep only(if you not facing the polo lounge) which is very noisy at night. The breakfast is not bad. The wifi is not strong enough I think because it shared. But over all it ok and there are a lot of store near the inn. And the stuff is good
