Stayed here for a long weekend in the quad room. Was really pleased with the setup of the room. Room and bathroom was clean and would recommend. The location of this hotel is right in the centre withe plenty of places to eat and drink. Would stay here again.

Stayed for 3 nights and found this hotel adequate for our needs. Rooms clean and spacious, staff helpful and friendly. Great location for going out and about. Stayed in much more expensive places in Glasgow and for the price this place does the job.

I booked this room in the afternoon over the internet for a one night stay. The building is dilapidated, the manager (or so he says), Jay, is nothing short of deranged and the rooms barren. There was only a sheet on the bed, no towels, save 2 bathmats to shower with, the television did not work (actually missing some vital... More

Where to start with this one? I was booked in here for a one night stay during a work visit to Glasgow. If it hadn't been for the fact that it was already arranged I would have walked straight back out. Upon arrival the receptionist was eating pizza behind the desk. I felt like I was intruding on his dinner.... More

I booked 2 twin rooms for myself and 3 friends to have an overnight stay. We arrived at about 11.30am and were faced with a lot of building materials lying about in the entrance and reception area. We approached the reception and were told that we wouldn't be able to get into our rooms until 1.30pm, so we left to... More

My friends and I booked two twin rooms for 1 night looking forward to a day and night in Glasgow and was welcomed by a building site and such unfriendly staff. We had to wait whilst they installed a new TV, which was still in its box in the room. The smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling and the... More

We have just finished a delicious lunch in the City Merchant restaurant. I chose from the set menu ( great value) and my companion ate from the a la carte. All delicious. Good, helpful answers from Gemma, our server. A lovely way to pass a damp, Glasgow Saturday afternoon. We look forward to doing it again.

Stayed here with mum and daughter whilst I was having procedure at hospital. Hotel extremely accommodating as both mum and myself unable to use stairs and were transferred to ground floor. Listed building, so very charming and breakfast in basement which adds to the charm. In the very centre of the Merchant City, but ideally tucked in a side street.... More

This is a lovely little hotel, very close to all the shops as well as Glasgow Central and Queen Street. Originally booked as it was one of the only hotels in the centre of Glasgow (the rest are too far out) that could accommodate three people in the one room. Room given was spacious and comfortable, especially for the excellent... More
