We stayed for a one night (wish it could have been longer!) in late August and left the three weans with their grandparents. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, unfortunately we had true Glasgow weather and were unable to sit outside next to the River Clyde. My parents recommended this hotel as they had lunch in the hotels... More

We have just had a three night stay here over the bank holiday weekend. it was our first trip to Glasgow so we didn't know what to expect but this hotel was lovely. Having stayed at the Mint Hotel in Leeds and loved it we hope this one would be as good and it was. All the staff we encountered... More

Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for a number of nights. My main purpose was business at the SECC, so location was great. It was about a 20 minute walk to the city centre, or 10 minutes up to Argyle St for restaurants/pubs, which isn't too bad in itself, but the expressway and all the empty lots (presumably being held... Dear RobZ01 Thank you for your review. The hotel is located beside the SECC with several developments in the pipeline to compliment the new 12000 seat concert arena that opens late 2013. In addition to the restaurants and bars you have highlighted we are also a short walk away from the Science Centre, IMAX cinema and Transport Museum. We recommend... More

Stayed here for 3 nights last weekend, first time in Glasgow. Booked after reading reviews on this site and was not dissapointed. We booked a river view room, which was lovely. the room was spotlessly clean, bed comfortable and the shower was great. Bonus of the computer which we actually used for times for museums and prices etc.. The breakfasts... More

We have stayed at this hotel several times now, most recently was 4 days ago. It's situated close to the SECC so is excellent if you're going to a concert. However, we also stay here if we're in Glasgow just to shop or visit family. The rooms are extremely well thought out and I honestly cannot find one single fault!... More

Dear Sonic27 Thank you for such a positive review. I am delighted that you noticed the mirrors in the bathroom do not steam up, this is one of many features that have been considered in the design of our rooms. Hopefully it will not be long before your return…. Kind Regards Brian More

Stayed here for one night last Saturday with my wife. This is first time we have stayed here since the Hilton takeover.I can honestly say ,its every bit as good,if not better,There have been a few subtle changes to room ,breakfast now a buffet ,whereas it was waiter service before.Actually prefer the buffet style better.Excellent choice and as much as you... Dear delboytuk Thank you for recommending us and scoring 5/5. Not many hotels in Glasgow (if any?) are able to offer the option of eating your breakfast outside and I am pleased that you prefer our new buffet format – we still offer plated dishes on request. Looking forward to welcoming you back soon… Kind Regards, Brian More

My husband and I stayed here for a week, from August 11th to 18th. From the very first greeting the staff were friendly and helpful. This was a constant throughout the week. Our room was spacious, quiet, very clean, and with sufficient space to hang all of our clothes (although we did bring extra hangers with us since we have... More

Firstly, it's NOT in the City Centre. It's at the SECC which is by ANYONE's reckoning, outside of the City Centre. Don't be fooled. Secondly, and this is the main problem for this hotel (as I see it!), the service is NOT Hilton standard by any stretch of the imagination. If those two points don't bother you, then this hotel... Dear Le_Clara Please accept my sincere apologies for not reaching our normal high standards. As can be seen by many reviews our staff are regularly complimented, however clearly we did not reach an acceptable standard during your stay. I would be extremely grateful if you could contact me directly to allow me to investigate the issues you have highlighted further;... More

This clean, friendly and minimalistic hotel is set right on the river with great views. It served us well, being a little bit away from the noise of the city, and yet close enough for a leisurely stroll. Excellent breakfast!

This hotel has a splendid setting, in the shadow of one of the old ship building cranes and facing the wonderful Clyde arc bridge, at night it is quite mesmerising. The hotel itself is not the standard Hilton style that I have experienced previously, it is very modern and minimalistic in design, the quality of the room furniture, with the... More

Dear Alpha B Thank you for reviewing your recent stay. I am sorry that the breakfast service was not what it should have been and has impacted your satisfaction and score. It is really frustrating to learn that your breakfast service experience has over-shadowed the quality of food you were served, the friendly staff and bedroom quality you have highlighted.... More
