This hotel was lovely and great value for money. It is as close as can be to the Hydro arena. The staff were lovely and the hotel and room spotless. Prices for drinks were no more than you would expect for a city centre hotel. I took some food with me for later as there is a fridge in the... More

Just spent 3 nights in the Hilton Garden Inn the hotel was lovely. We upgraded to a river view well worth the effort. Had dinner in the hotel it was excellent with lovely service. Although the hotel was busy the staff were on top of it. The rooms were well looked after. The only little issue we had was that... More

Friendly Scottish welcome. We used Hilton honours points and were given a lovely room overlooking the Clyde. Free WiFi which worked with no problems. The window opened so no stuffy hotel room as can sometimes be the case. Bed incredibly comfortable too. Very friendly and helpful staff and a great location. We walked along the Clyde to the city centre and... More

The rooms are small but well equipped. The SECC and few restaurants are nearby. The location is very good and nice view with the river flowing just next to the hotel. For discounts dont book directly and choose any discount sites. Wifi is free but very slow and in some rooms, difficult to get a good signal. They have apple... More

Good location. Nice enough hotel but have stayed in better 4 stars. No minibar. Room service got orders wrong and we had to wait a while to get it put right. Rooms fairly standard. No little extras. Had to pay for parking.

Dear HardWorkerScotland Thank you for your review. I am sorry that there was an error with your room service order. Instead of a stocked minibar, Hilton Garden Inn provide a fridge in every room to allow guests the choice to use it for their own items or for goods bought from our 24 hour lobby shop – Pavilion Pantry. I've stayed several times and the hotel has had its ups and downs. My last stay was one of the best. Nice clean room (a little on the small side, but big enough). Service was attentive, although not consistent enough. Breakfast was pretty good (like the rooms, a bit on the small side - lacking choice, but good enough) .... More

Had a one night stay with friends at this hotel in August this year. It is well placed if you are going to a show at the SECC, the Hydro or Armadillo. You'll be at any of those venues within a few minutes walk. The rooms are small but well equipped - they have fancy Apple Tvs. The rooms to... More

The location of the hotel meant that I needed to get cabs to my meetings, but the surroundings were an added bonus as this had become a familiar view whilst watching the Commonwealth Games recently on TV. The hotel is very smart and fresh, which is carried on from the lobby to the room. I had an extremely comfortable night.

Dear SaraD Thank you for your review and scoring us 5/5. We are indeed often used as the back-drop for television news due to our position between the iconic Finnieston Crane in our car park and the Clyde Arc (Squinty) bridge. I am delighted that you had an extremely comfortable night. Kind Regards, Brian More
