I've stayed several times and the hotel has had its ups and downs. My last stay was one of the best. Nice clean room (a little on the small side, but big enough). Service was attentive, although not consistent enough. Breakfast was pretty good (like the rooms, a bit on the small side - lacking choice, but good enough) .... More

Had a one night stay with friends at this hotel in August this year. It is well placed if you are going to a show at the SECC, the Hydro or Armadillo. You'll be at any of those venues within a few minutes walk. The rooms are small but well equipped - they have fancy Apple Tvs. The rooms to... More

The location of the hotel meant that I needed to get cabs to my meetings, but the surroundings were an added bonus as this had become a familiar view whilst watching the Commonwealth Games recently on TV. The hotel is very smart and fresh, which is carried on from the lobby to the room. I had an extremely comfortable night.

Some way from the city centre, at least a 20 minute walk. Rooms a little on the small side but worthwhile paying extra for a riverside room. Excellent staff, especially those in reception who were most helpful. Good selection at breakfast.

We booked this hotel as it is 4 star and apparently in city centre. We found the staff to be brilliant, smiley and very helpful throughout. However, whilst the hotel is very clean and comfortable, the rooms are very small ( we did get moved to a slightly bigger room, which was much appreciated). For us, it took about 20-25... More

Stayed here while on business during Commonwealth Games. It was the perfect base. Room was on the river side right beside the bridge. Small but perfectly clean with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. Restaurant food was good and the service excellent. Perfect end to the working day was a drink on the terrace overlooking the river. I would... More

Visiting relatives and had free time, so we went by train to Glasgow. You walk out of train station catch the tour bus and it drops you off at stop 13 in front of the Garden Inn. Nice quiet area not far in 1/2 hour walking distance to downtown or as I did purchased two day pass on the tour... More

This hotel really doesn't seem budget at all - its beautiful inside and the room was very luxurious. Our hotel room looked out onto the Clyde and the Squinty Bridge. Staff were all very friendly and helpful and gave us advice on how to get to the railway station, ordering a taxi for us which arrived faster than we could... More

Have lost count the number of times stayed at this hotel. Always stay here if we are coming down for a concert or football. Very good location. 2 min walk to SECC or Hydro, 20min walk to Ibrox and a 15min walk to The Quay. Prob about half hour walk into town or you can get a taxi. Wide choice... More
