It cost us £39 for 1 nights stay. We had to share a bathroom and shower with other people on the bottom floor. The room had a tv, kettle, sink & storage for clothes. The room seemed clean and tidy. It included breakfast e.g. cereal, toast, tea or you could pay an extra £3 for a cooked breakfast. Its in... More

Lovely hotel not far from town centre. Welcomes visitors with pets - had dog treats at reception. Allocated us a room close to exit and away from main hotel bustle to make it easier for us taking dog out and quieter when we had to leave her for a couple of hours. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast.

They say that the breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we definitely agree with that notion. We are happy that you enjoyed your visit and your review is much appreciated indeed! See you soon! More

I only had one night here, but I very much enjoyed my stay. Both gentlemen that helped upon checking in were lovely - very welcoming, obliging and made me feel at home. The room was all I needed as a solo traveller. There was some noise from other guests in the hallway, but this wasn't too much of an issue... More

First time using this hotel when visiting my son at Glasgow University. Very good location for Great Western Road, and Byres Road. Clean, friendly and good breakfast. This is an old establishment and visitors may be disappointed in lack of modernity, but it is a good basic place at a reasonable price. It also has free wifi. I will stay... More

Not a bad place to stay. It was clean, comfortable, well looked after and had reasonable facilities. Couple of cons would be that the bathroom for the room next to ours could clearly be heard everytime the family in the next room used it, which was often. There was also a minor lack of attention to detail, we only got... More

Had a great stay at Kelvin hotel. Perfect location, close to everything in West End and clean. Wasn't prepared on sharing bathroom and shower with other guest on the floor though. But I would go there again.

We were two children two adults and two small dogs . Tha accommodation we had was perfect for us the lady in the hotel even gave us special towels to clean any wet paws . We were even given plates and forks and salt and pepper when we ordered a take away. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and the... More

The hotel is a lovely old building with original features. Very hard to get to unless you know exactly where you're going! The room was comfortable but the bed was the smallest double I've ever seen. We had a small en-suite shower room but there was a large bathroom available opposite too.

We chose Kelvin for its location near the Botanical Garden and its cheap price of about $90. The location was great, but the place is very dingy and in need of renovation. Our room - the least expensive in the place - was dark and small and claustrophobic. The staff was OK, although their "help" in ordering a cab to... More

Brilliant location, excellent value for money. Perfect breakfast the next morning. Rooms are small but perfect for the price and location. Definitely recommend this little spot. Nothing luxurious but perfect for the price.
