The good points... A central location making it easy to walk wherever you fancy. Cheap (we paid £50 which is not bad for a city centre location). Clean... I know you should expect that but if only it was true of every place I have stayed in! The bad... The décor in the corridors. Honestly, could they possibly have found... More

Staff very friendly, food downstairs nice but we did not enjoy our experience. There were road/footpath works outside our room 2 mornings from 8 am and they were constant. The only morning they hadnt started, we could hear every single word of our neighbours next door in their room, also constant banging of doors. The room was tiny, we could... More

The friendliest hotel in Glasgow. We will definitely be back. Room was very small but spotlessly clean and well worth the £50! We didn't have time for breakfast in the morning so can't comment on that. The staff are excellent thanks for a great stay.

I stayed for one night. The service was great, the location is great, the price was good, some of the decor and furniture is a little "lived in" but everything was clean and tidy. The food in the bar downstairs was very good. The only complaint I could really make was that some members of staff had a lengthy (30... More

Visited the Brunswick on 26 - 27 September 2014. Having checked the reviews I picked this hotel primarily because of the area, very wide pedestianised streets and lots of historical buildings in the area. Clean and well kept frontage all helps to add to the ambience. The main entrance is quite hidden as the main bar to the hotel has a... More

I really liked this hotel. The rooms are unique and pretty cool but not super clean. The location is perfect, right in the center of the city. It isn't quiet but the bar and restaurant are good. I'd stay here again.

We were told about this hotel from a couple of work colleagues, and I'm glad I went with their recommendation. We stayed on Friday 11th September and it was our 15 yrs wedding anniversary. I told Sharon who is the hotel manager and she upgraded the room, left a card, chocs and flowers for us. This was a lovely touch... More

Booked into the pent house with my family it was quirky and well laid out, that is where the good feeling stopped, it was filthy and required a good clean the door would not lock from the out side, two of the bedrooms in the penthouse were so small you could hardly move, there was no on-suits in them and... Stayed at the Brunswick as I was on a hen night in Glasgow. I booked a king room for £95 including continental breakfast. The room was set up as 2 singles as my friend was staying with me. The room also had a sofa and table plus all the necessary accompaniments ie: ironing board, iron, kettle, toiletries.Ellen on reception gave us a very... More

I wasn't sure what to expect from this hotel after reading the reviews however I found the Brunswick Hotel to be perfectly fine, my room (103) was a decent size with a large bathroom and was clean. For £85 a night I would have expected the continental breakfast to be included but it wasn't. We ate in the restaurant at... More
