My friends and I stayed here the weekend of the Take That concert and found it to be a little gem! Only a few minutes walk from Queen St station and George Square, we were welcomed by a very friendly receptionist (sorry can't remember her name!) and checked in earlier than our stated time with no problem. We had 2... more

We used Brunswick Hotel as a base for 5 nights in Glasgow and then to take several day-trips into other areas of Scotland. Simply great location, within 4 blocks to Train and Bus stations, Visitors Center, and main shopping ares of Glasgow. Simply outstanding staff personnel and service. Rooms on small side but clean and very comfortable overall. Have a... more

The room was small - but what can you expect for 30 GBP? I loved the place. Friendly staff, very centraly located but at the same time with very few street noise. Practical and very basic furnished - nonetheless, everything needed was there. Free welcome drink in the trendy restaurant/café /bar offered after check-in. more

My boyfriend and I stayed in Glasgow sometime in November. On Sunday we were supposed to fly home on Easy Jet. We waited at the airport for over 8 hours and then were eventually told they lost our booking. At this point it was 10pm and the trains had stopped going to the City. I was frantically calling all the... more

Well located in Merchant City, walking distance from the main sights. Our room was really small (and even - it was not the smallest one available) but super clean. There is a fun cava bar/tapas restaurant downstairs where they serve breakfast (nothing fancy but very good) in the morning and that becomes a great hang out place at night. Overall... more

Booked this as a last minute "post Christmas" treat for myself and my husband. As we were also on a post Christmas budget we were looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful. The Brunswick fitted the bill perfectly. The decor may not to everyone's taste, but we loved being somewhere with it's own sense of style rather than the bland conformity... more

While in a convenient central location, this narrow, non-signed hotel (guess you have to be in the know) has seen better days. Their site shows it to be a beautifully designed, minimalist hotel, but it is in fact too moderne for it's own good, run down and shabby. The faux sheepskin rug on the bright purple floor of our room... more

The Brunswick hotel is in a great location in the centre of Glasgow close to all the shops and restaurants. The decor is modern (bold colours on the walls in the corridors and the bedrooms) and simply furnished with a futon bed and wall mounted TV. Unfortunately the Saturday night we stayed we were woken up at 3am with other... more

Small hotel in a nice and quiet street downtown Glasgow. Very nice staff, stylish rooms, unpretentious, modern and young atmosphere, friendly. Willing to give advice and help travellers on the go. Young kids are nicely welcome too. Beds are comfy. I will come back ! more
