This hotel was over priced and very dated and needs a complete refurbishment. The only thing going for this hotel where the very friendly staff. I would never return or recommend this hotel. More like a youth hostel

When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by a friendly receptionist, our rooms weren't ready so he put our cases away safely. We arrived back later & were given our cases, we headed up to our room, hallways were an interesting colour, when we opened our room door the room was lovely & warm once inside the room... More

I had my 21st birthday party in the Apartment in the Brunswick Hotel. The apartment was the perfect venue for family and friends. Throughout the day and then during the party the staff were really friendly and very helpful. I would like to say a special thank you to the staff that were on the bar at the party as... More

My wife and I stayed one night in a Compact Double room. The room is very small with only just enough space to walk around the bed but the hotel is superb value for money. The room was clean, if a little tired, and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you are expecting a luxury hotel this isn't it... More

What can be said about the Brunswick. . .well it looks like a normal hotel from outside and in the reception. . .then you get into the corridors and they are dark blue & red! Its a slightly bizzare colour scheme for a hotel but isnt a major issue I understand why the owners thought it would be quirky however... More

Spent one night here and paid £40. Very clean in central location and great value for money. Perfect for a one night, maybe 2 stopover but not sure I would stay any longer. Ideal for a night out in Glasgow.

Please avoid this hotel if you want to spend your money in an honest establishment. They withheld a security deposit, then produced a SECOND set of terms and conditions to justify their actions. Their staff then came up with several untrue stories, none of them matching. Trading standards agreed that their actions were illegal, but seem to be an ineffectual... More

Small friendly hotel very well placed in Merchant City. 5 mins from Argyll Street and George Square. Rooms are small and basic but clean. Iron and hairdryer are provided. Good powerful shower. Breakfast is £4.95 if not included in price. Did not have it as plenty of cafes nearby. Stayed for two nights and found bed comfortable. Not much room... More

The hotel has a great central location, walking distance from the train and bus station. I would recommend this hotel for someone who is looking for a place to sleep and have a shower. Excellent if you want to go out at night. Very simply designed, great prices even in December. As for the cleanliness, there was a little bit... More

Stayed one evening late November. Numerous inviting restaurants and friendly bars on your doorstep, also very close to an overwhelming array of retail outlets. Rooms a wee bit on the small side but very comfy. Lovely atmosphere in the bar. Had breakfast there the following day and was served by quite possibly the happiest staff in the world! This was...
