I spent a weekend in Glasgow for my birthday, having looked through Booking.com I decided to try The Premier Inn Charing Cross. On Arrival the hotel doesn’t look like much, its an old building and looks like an office block and not a hotel. Check in was fast and the woman at reception was nice and friendly. The Price per... more

Myself and my girlfriend decided to stay here for a long weekend in May 2009 for her Birthday, we wanted to spend time in Glasgow and see some attractions. We booked this hotel as when searching Hotels on Booking.com this came up the best price out of the many Central located hotels nearby. We got a very good deal for... more

I have just returned from a weekend in Glasgow staying in the premier inn charing cross which i have to say was excellent. The rooms are modern and very clean with a good size bathroom and an LCD tv in the room. The hotel also has a nice bar and restaurant on the first floor. At £45 a night this... more

Rooms are tiny and rundown, the hotel itself is located in a sleazy area (strip club immediately opposite the entrance). You'd be better off staying at the Premier Inn near George Square which is much better more

My partner and I recently had a one night stay in the Premier Inn, Charing Cross, Glasgow. We have stayed at this hotel many times and always have a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel is great. Right next to the train station and a two minute walk from the bars and clubs of sauchiehall street, It is also... more

Before you arrive at the hotel you can see it from quite a far way away, it is very big, the reception staff are really pleasant and can not do enough for you, everything you ask for you get. rooms are very very comfortable, with flat screen tv, comfortable matress and pillows, great shower, bathroom facilities and nice decor more

£58 for family room- does exactly what it says on the tin. No real frills, but no problems either- even got money back as there was a fire alarm through the night. Friendly staff all round and a good breakfast for £7, though kids eat free ( we ate our moneys' worth ). more

Me and my girlfriend went to glasgow for new years eve and hunted around for a hotel at about 6 o'clock at night. This was the first we found at a reasonable price (£59) with rooms available. The room was massive and had a fantastic bathroom. It was very clean and the bed was huge. There was a huge desk... more

Stayed here for one night to attend a concert. Booked online and paid £59 for a double room - good price for the centre of Glasgow. Friendly efficient staff at check-in, room small but had everything we needed. Powerful, hot shower, comfy bed. Noise was not an issue as suggested in previous review. We were advised at checkin that higher... more
