This was our 3rd stay here. Its such a nice place in a lovely quiet area of Glasgow. We always feel right at home here. Its not posh or luxurious but it has everything you need and it is clean and very comfortable. Always get a good night's sleep in the Ambassador/Embassy. Right beside the Botanic Gardens and Byres Road,... More

Hotel car park was difficult to find, there is free on road parking which is probably used by the workers in the area as there was never any room left. We stayed one night and took up the offer of an 'upgrade' for an extra £9.00 which gave us a room in the apartments next door. The room was large,... More

It seemed expensive for a tiny single room and no breakfast included. Handy for son in nearby uni halls of residence and easy walk to shops, cafés and the underground. Shower was poor and bathroom so cramped I banged my head on the shelf above the sink while bending to brush my teeth! Wouldn't choose this hotel again.

The hotel was in a quiet area by the botanic gardens but close enough to walk to the subway and the Byres road for shops. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. However the hotel was very dated and the furniture and fitting had seen better days. The shower was poor and its fitments fell off the... More

What a gem! Can not say enough about this little hotel! Everything was excellent! Sweet, helpful & friendly night manager! Stayed here on February 25 - Rooms were clean and loads of tea and coffee in our room! Internet was great. Breakfast in the morning could not have been better! Thanks!

This place was nice enough. We booked for three single beds, and were sent to the Embassy Apartments next door. The room was pretty large, it had room for a 3 single beds, a set of drawers, coffee table and two large chairs, and night-tables. Nice to be able to spread your stuff our in a hotel room for once.... More

The hotel is in a good location in a quiet leafy area of Glasgow about 15 minutes walk from Hillhead subway station. We had booked into the hotel but maybe because we requested a ground floor room we were given one of the apartments (number 3) in the Embassy next door. As it was self catering it was quite big,...
