Best breakfast ever! Business trip with my wife for two nights. Great location for any needs. First time to Glasgow and Lynn at reception was able to advise us on what to see locally. Would recommend the botanical gardens and just a general walk around the local area. There is a lot to take in. No restriction on the parking... More

A great value hotel,in a convenient location in Glasgow .Clean and bright rooms, unrestricted parking and free wi-fi are bonuses here . We received a warm welcome from the staff, who also was responsible for a great breakfast in the morning! We have stayed on three separate occasions recently and would not hesitate to return .

I stayed at the ambassador due to the location at first but on my arrival I got the most amazing welcome from the man at reception (jack of all trades) it wasnt the usual sign here and get your key and made to feel like a number I was actually made to feel at home. The room was warm on... More

We have stayed in this hotel for weekend breaks twice now and it is excellent value, The rooms are clean and equipped with all you need including a fridge. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfasts are great, you have lots of choice and it is always hot. Would definately recomend it. I left a ring behind... More

This is my third time staying at the Ambassador Hotel which I had chosen due to its excellent character and location. The apartment we had was great and the staff were very helpful. Thanks to Neil on reception who made us feel very welcome and was very helpful. John and Debs

Not very new. Not very posh. But nice, clean and just what we were looking for. Very good value for money. Nice and helpful staff. Location is good as well: apr. 5 minutes on food to the subway and located very close to the university and a lot of nice pubs and restaurants.

The location of location of the hotel is great, in the west end of Glasgow near the subway. We have stayed at the hotel a couple of times and it has always been ok. The showers leave a little to be desired and the rooms can be a bit cold but I guess for the price it can't be perfect.... More

What a lovely spot for a few days stay. Booked on line not knowing what to expect thinking one night would be enough. Ended up staying an extra. Staff were excellent. The room (three adults) was huge. Lots of room to move around, store luggage and such a lovely feel about it. Straight across the road was the beautiful Botanic... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday 2 weeks ago and we had a superb time. Our room was lovely with a comfy big bed and we had great night out at Oran Mor after a shopping trip. Breakfast was just what doctor ordered very tasty. I would definitely come back!

Room was very clean. Found the heater powerful, it can be very costly to install central heating in buildings such as this so I don't mind the electric heaters. Comfy bed. The decor has seen better days, very dated. Bathroom small but functional, and in a delightful shade of avocado green - retro is the polite way to describe it!... More
