My husband and I and another couple stayed at the annex of this guest house. We were a bit apprehensive as we did not see the rooms until late in the evening, as we arrived early. We all stayed over in the annex. Our room 4 just as you go in the door. We thought that would be a bit... More

Chose this as some cheap overnight accommodation in Glasgow before embarking on the West Highland Way. Although I wouldn't have fancied staying much longer than a night, the room was perfectly adequate for a stop-over: no view and not huge, but comfy beds, bathroom with bath, TV and tea-making equipment. Breakfast was absolutely fine. A few restaurants and bars nearby... More

The place is nice enough and has what you would need for a few nights stay. It's cheap and clean and the staff were friendly, but that's about it. The rooms are dated and starting to show some age, wallpaper peeling slightly, paint worn some fixtures cracked a little. For the price it's about as good as it gets.

We stayed here to visit the SECC for the Country Living Christmas Fair. The location was ideal if you only wanted to visit for that. We were given a family room (there was only my sister and myself) which comprised of a double room and another room with bunk beds. Our room was very tight fit and I banged my... More

Where to begin.....We decided to stay in this hotel instead of our usual Premier Inn. Prices have increased at the Premier Inn recently and we thought with it being close to xmas lets try to save some money. We decided to book rooms in the Argyll guest house instead.....let the nightmare commence. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff... More

We sayed here for one night as we were going to an event at the Hydro. The Guest House is ideally situated and would be a good base to stay in central Glasgow. The room had clearly been recently renovated and was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with all the facilities you would expect. The bathroom was immaculate with lovely... More

I needed a one night stay in Glasgow without breaking the bank. I worried that the value might mean putting up with very basic accomdation. Unfounded worries. Although small, the room facing the back of the guest house was clean, warm and comfortable with a compact but perfectly usable en-suite. Hassle free reception with friendly staff.

I stayed here for one night to see in November 30 Seconds to Mars. It's enough and quiet to stop after the concert. The service was very friendly and kind. It was cheap. The situation to arrive early to the SSE Hydro is pretty good.
