Having not stayed at the hotel for over a year can only say congrats to the owners and staff for the improvements that have been done. As ever the staff were excellent, the new bar layout looks brilliant and the new windows (that were needed ) make the rooms look far more modern. And had a nice afternoon sitting in... More

For the price you pay for a hotel in Glasgow, you think you are going to be getting something fairly special. Or even something comfortable. At a whopping 225 a night (and those prices were on the wall by the reception, that wasn't just Commonwealth inflation), we got room 20 - a room so small they had to get a... More

My elderly mum (who has Mobility issues and uses a wheelchair) and I stayed in room 9 for one night while visiting for the Commonwealth Games. I had left it late to book a hotel (about 6 months before the games 😉) and wanted one in the city Centre. Of course they were all booked and I was lucky to... More

After travelling for 36 hours I had to play hunt the receptionist around midday. There is a bell to ring which did not bring a response after multiple rings and 2 wanders around plus other patrons trying to be helpful.....yelling up the stairs finally worked. Receptionist helpful with bag to room. Room, ensuite bathroom large. Comfortable bed, no alarm clock,... More

We are staying here as we are going to a wedding near by. What a gem of a place. Beautiful decorated. Friendly staff. Great food. Pity about the guy snoring in a room close by but the hotel can't help that.

Where do I start… So we arrive at the ‘4* boutique hotel’ and were check in by a rude man on reception. We were given the key to room 15. NEVER EVER accept this key… Go behind reception, and up a lovely staircase, to the bedrooms. Open the door of number 15, and it felt like we had walked into... More

Myself and my fiancé book the honeymoon suite back in April for out upcoming wedding in October. We were told by the owner when we want to view the suite that it would be £120 for the overnight stay. I received a call today from the receptionist to say that a wedding party had been booked into the hotel on... More

we stayed it this hotel when my daughter was getting married at the burgh halls, a venue not too far from the hotel. We arrived early on a friday, 11am, given a room no problem. That set the tone for the rest of the stay. The staff were a pleasure, from the French? guy on the reception ( who bore... More

The staff at number 10 were outstandingly friendly and helpful during our stay. They went out of their way to check we had everything we needed. Also a great new bar. One or two bits and pieces in the room could do with a bit of maintenance (shower drainage a bit slow but otherwise OK, window didn't close easily). But... More
