I was seeking a cheap hotel near the West End for 2 nights, and stumbled across this hotel on a hotel comparison site. For £30 a night the hotel represents amazing value. The building itself is an old style 'house', a traditional type building, so as such once you get into the corridors and up and down the stairs, it... More

We chose this hotel as it is within easy walking distance (10mins) of the S.E.C.C. We had searched the internet and read Tripadvisor comments prior to our decision to stay. What a complete surprise when we arrived not knowing what to expect. We received a very friendly welcome from reception staff, the reception area is clean and beautifully decorated. Our... More

Had a quick trip for a football match. Excellent for the price and breakfast included which was plus. Long walk to town center but buses available. Excellent services, pubs, and eating around the hotel. No elevator so got my exercise going up stairs. Would stay again! More

Check in was very quick and the guy was very helpful, The room was large but basic and at the front of the hotel which can be noisy as it is on Sauchiehall Street. The staff couldn't of been more helpful as my wife didn't have a hair dryer and reception provided one free for the whole stay. We were... More

I stayed at the Sandyford for a conference at the Exhibition center. The hotel is quite basic but offered a good deal when getting it online, around 35£ per night. Rooms and corridors are a bit worn down and the room was very small, although they vary as a colleague got a double room at the same price. Breakfast is... More

This trip was to have a look at the university and I chose the hotel due to its proximity to the uni. I shared a room with my 18 year old daughter.I booked a twin room but we had a triple. It was really spacious with a large ?king sized bed and a good single. There was a large desk... More

The reviews were mixed. I was a bit worried about the fact that pets were allowed. The outside of the building does make your heart sink slightly, but once inside it is a lot better. The young guy on reception was very helpful and pleasant. Also the young breakfast helper who was on reception and helpful then too. Our room... More

I stayed here a week ago and was surprised how good it was for the money. I then rebooked a week later and was bitten by bed bugs on both my arms. Room 103 should be avoided. More
