I was looking for somewhere that was good value and in close proximity to the SECC as I was attending an event there I went for this and couldn't have been more pleased! It's got bags of character, the staff are terrific, great choice of TV channels and the breakfast is fantastic.....asking for seconds is encouraged!

Arrived at 2230 on Sauchihall street Glasgow. Easy to find hotel and parking right outside which was free to 0800 in the morning and three hours maximum thereafter which is fine as kicking out time is 1030. I'd rung in advance as I was going to be passed 2200 but they have all night concierge who seemed like a laid... More

I was worried when first approaching the hotel as I had searched for ages before finding this hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. Staff friendly and very helpful and my single room had everything I needed plus a large bathroom which had a bath and shower. Breakfast choice good, although I would have liked to see some veggie sausages as... More

Stayed from the 27th - 29th June for the AC⚡️DC concert. Four of us arrived at 10.30am with the idea of leaving our bags as check in was at 1.30pm but our rooms were already available which was a bonus. The staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. We stayed on the bottom floor and our friends on the first floor.... More

We stayed at the Sandyford while attending a concert at the Hydro. It is within walking distance of it and parking on the street cost us £4. I had asked for a quiet room and got a room to the front of the building which was not really quiet. The room size was fine, bathroom could do with an upgrade.... More

Don't let the signs to remove working boots etc put you off to much. At £47.00 a night including breakfast i didn't expect much and think the price was fair for the age and tiredness of the rooms. If your on a budget but want clean sheets and breakfast this is a good place to start

Very close to the arena. Breakfast and dtaff very good . Rooms are adaquate basic but could do being spruced up they are a bit dated but if like ourselves you are attending a concert they suit the purpose. Staff friendly although i used a tray at breakfast to carry my plates and cups to my table only to be... More

Small hotel/ B&B in west end of Glasgow, which we booked for ACDC concert. Details below:- Room - adequate room, with decent shower facilities. Tea/coffee provided, and free wifi which worked very well. Only downside was the lack of double glazing, which meant we were woken in,early morning by large flock of birds doing their morning call! Breakfast - excellent... More

Clean comfortable hotel. It has no lift so be aware of that. Conveniently located. Can recommend the Mother Indian across the road for dinner.. Although you probably should book. Staff friendly and helpful. A very tasty plentiful breakfast.

We stayed here for two nights. Beds were decently comfortable and breakfast was included. The breakfast was really good, best oatmeal I have had in many years. I was able to walk to the tube and the park with ease. There is no lift so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. One great feature was the window... More
