Reception chap friendly and informative on arrival. He also said street parking surrounding the hotel area was free after 6pm (I think) until Monday morning which was brilliant as a nearby car park was £22 for 24 hours. I was given the key to room 305 which was up two flights of stairs. Once entering the room it was evident... More

A group of us stayed here for one night while doing the sub crawl. We had two twins, a double, and a triple room, all of which we're clean, well equipped, spacious and with comfy beds. The shower was very good too. Staff we're cheery and accommodating and didn't mind splitting the price across nine debit cards for us. The... More

Stayed here for a concert at The Hub. Good location. Friendly helpful staff in reception despite it being busy when we checked in. Rooms decent size but double beds a bit small. Room and bathroom needed a bit if TLC but were clean and tidy. Breakfast was good a plentiful. Enough for all tastes. Only drawback is the bar is... More

Staff were warm and welcoming, and for £40 rooms and breakfast was great value for our money. Chefs at breakfast like to chat to themselves behind the counter and we can hear it so that wasn't so great, rooms weren't the best but again they were well worth the £40. Make sure you draw the curtains as we stayed in... More

Having to make a last minute booking for my recent trip to Glasgow I spent some time looking for a hotel for the night. I came across The Sandyford on Sauchiehall Street near to Kelvin Grove. Nice & spacious & a warm welcome & at £32 for the night which came with breakfast, free wifi & a nice double bed... More

I used this hotel for a quick stop over whilst travelling. It was very cheap and therefore I did not expect too much. I was very, very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, comfortable, and apart from a few broken tiles in the large bathroom, which may present a hazard, I had no complaints. The staff were helpful, the breakfast... More

Second time at this hotel. First time was a twin room in basement and this time a double room upstairs. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. Breakfast was excellent. Chosen for its close proximity to the hydro and exhibition centre station. Will use again.

The staff are very friendly and very accommodating and nothing is too much of a bother from either providing an iron and ironing board (at no charge) to arranging taxis. The rooms (although not large) are quite adequate and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is a real treat .....We both thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would recommend the hotel... More

I wanted somewhere cheap for a solo overnight stay in Glasgow. For £40 B&B I shouldn't really complain, and yet..... Pros Decently situated, I spent a lovely afternoon in the Kelvingrove museum and galleries building a short walk away. Pleasant staff Spotlessly clean in general. Cons Room and bathroom very small. I didn't really mind, but others might. The bed... More

room was clean, toilet seat was loose,1 bath towel was only fit for the bin ,more suited for younger people as there is no lift to upper floor rooms, no bar, the breakfast was cooked to order ,made a nice change from the usual buffet style. only 5/10 mins by taxi to city bars etc.and ssec.
