A hotel that has everything you need for a cracking overnight or weekend stay! People, get over the stairs....yes there are 65 of them but let's face it, that's what you get with an independent hotel. Loved it, cracking for access to the secc or the hyydro....hotel staff are mega friendly and your choice of bars and restaurants within literally... More

For the price we paid for this hotel, it was well worth the money, with friendly staff and a homely feel, this hotel is perfect for students and adults looking for a few nights away. We were allowed to check in early which was a bonus after the journey, also the hotel was in walking distance from the Hydro, which... More

I've stayed in the Sandyford several times and never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are ok, breakfast very good. It's in a great location for the SECC and the Hydro, has several good restaurants nearby and Kelvingrove Gallery is a 5 minute walk away. It's not the Ritz but it's a real wee gem and... More

Reception chap friendly and informative on arrival. He also said street parking surrounding the hotel area was free after 6pm (I think) until Monday morning which was brilliant as a nearby car park was £22 for 24 hours. I was given the key to room 305 which was up two flights of stairs. Once entering the room it was evident... More

A group of us stayed here for one night while doing the sub crawl. We had two twins, a double, and a triple room, all of which we're clean, well equipped, spacious and with comfy beds. The shower was very good too. Staff we're cheery and accommodating and didn't mind splitting the price across nine debit cards for us. The... More

Stayed here for a concert at The Hub. Good location. Friendly helpful staff in reception despite it being busy when we checked in. Rooms decent size but double beds a bit small. Room and bathroom needed a bit if TLC but were clean and tidy. Breakfast was good a plentiful. Enough for all tastes. Only drawback is the bar is... More

Staff were warm and welcoming, and for £40 rooms and breakfast was great value for our money. Chefs at breakfast like to chat to themselves behind the counter and we can hear it so that wasn't so great, rooms weren't the best but again they were well worth the £40. Make sure you draw the curtains as we stayed in... More
