I stayed here for one night as I was working at the SECC. It is extremely convenient for the conference centre as it is within walking distance. The room was small and a little rundown, there were a few tiles which needed replaced in the bathroom, for example, but it was clean and had everything I needed. It was also... More

Booked a room here for Dec 2014 ... Under the illusion I could pay when I got there so I rang after the room was booked to changed to the higher rate of 227 pound. Was then told I needed to pay a deposit and told them I would ring the following day. I rang the following day to pay... More

My wife and I spent eight days in this hotel in September, 2014. The hotel has a very convenient location in terms of public transport with bus to the airport, railway station and central bus station from just outside the hotel. The room was spacious and clean, though with basic amenities and a reasonable lay out for breakfast. The staff... More

Stayed one night in June with a friend. Twin room - and the price was per room per night, not the usual per person rubbish. Ok, the rooms are not very big and the bathrooms are tiny - but the bed was comfy and the room was clean. In a great location if you are going to the Hydro and... More

I understand that hotels have to make money, but when you are stuck offshore and unable to get off due to bad weather ( and don’t know if it going to clear), plus cancel your booking on the morning after the cancellation date, midnight on the 30-10-14 ( 9 hours still the day before i was meant to stay )... Me and my husband stayed one night at this hotel and I can honestly say this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in, especially for the £117 we paid for a double room!! We were on the top floor and there are no lifts or any offer for staff to carry our bags to our room.... More

Stayed for 2 nights and couldn't fault location in the heart of the West End. Breakfast was delicious especially the poached eggs! Having stayed in more upmarket hotels in Glasgow and then had to pay extra for breakfast, suffice to say I will be booking with this hotel for future visits to Glasgow. All staff in the breakfast room to... More

I found it very difficult to find a cheapish hotel in Glasgow with good reviews and that was located in a nice, central area. Perhaps because I stayed in the city during the world championship pipe playing. Sandyford wasn't cheap either, but the reviews were okay and the area popular. I liked my stay in the hotel. The double room... More

Good location as we were attending a concert at the hydro, only a 5/10 minute walk to the hydro pretty easy to find. Good breakfast in the morning and very pleasant staff in both reception and dining area. The room was fine although personally I would've hoovered the carpet a bit better :O There is no lifts so if you have... More
