This hotel maybe isnt as bad as people have made out (or its just different from my experience). I found the staff upon arrival and throughout my stay very helpful - this was my first trip on my own and they really helped out with all the questions I had. My room was clean and tea and coffee was provided.... More

Bathroom full of mould, shower held together with tape. Shaving light in bathroom falling off. Coffee making facilities dirty from last occupant. Quilt on bed only just reaches from side to side. Water stains all over bedroom ceiling. TV just about working, need to retune every so often. No wardrobe. No phone in room, even though it states there is.... More

Firsrtly, this hotel is not as bad (at least, wasn't for me) as some of the reviews suggest. Yes, it has dated decor, and there are some slightly nasty features, such as mould above the shower and dirty nets by the windows (but then again, this is the same in my house). But for a reasonable rate- a quad room... More

Didn't know what to expect after reading the reviews, but fair is fair - it wasn't that bad ! It could do with a face lift. Problem with water explained to me when I arrived - possibility of no hot water owing to electrical problems with burst pipe. Had hot water to take a shower. No water at all in... More

Not sure why they call themselves a hotel . The front desk staff were very friendly but that didnt make up for the shoddy state of the hotel itself . Our bed was lumpy , shower curtain was falling down and the water took about 30 mins to regulate . Our room stank and clealy hadnt been properly cleaned or... More

I stayed at this hotel a few years ago now I think it was 2008 at the time I didn't realise Tripadvisor existed, I did leave a review on the site where I booked it and heard nothing. It must be the most horrible hotel in the whole of Glasgow, I booked it because the photos on the webiste made... More

Bathroom floor in room so dirty our shoes stuck to the floor. Room clearly had not been cleaned as it was absolutely stinking!! Counted at least 10 flies buzzing around the room before we promptly turned around and walked out. Disgusting...... No parking in a very undesirable area.

Very Basic and tired looking accommodation needing a facelift and new furniture as it was much worn. Had booked two rooms and was greeted with a horrible smell in one which turned out to be a dirty nappy which was left in the bathroom bin, along with a lot of hair in the sink. In the second room at the... More

A very last minute choice but would not go back or recommend! The whole ramshackle building has a run down, neglected air about it; dodgy decor, broken glass scotch taped up, no working tv, bathroom tiles all cracked and random holes bashed into the walls! Great location for the park, bars and restaurants but there must be better hotels nearby...... More
