Warm welcome and speedy check in from 1 pm which is very handy. Room 10 at the rear of the hotel was very comfy , great size and quiet. We liked the staff and the way they were prepared to offer help if needed. Within walking distance of the Hydro where we saw Strictly and some good restaurants nearby. Breakfast... More

We were very happy with our stay at the hotel. The lady at reception was so welcoming with a big smile. It was clean and tidy just as the hotel pictures depict. Being on Sauchiehall street, it was only a £5:50 taxi fare from George Square. Our room (10) was ground floor and next to reception so any "visitors" noise... More

Very good value single room, less than £30 I think, basic but clean. Decent location on Royal Crescent, part way to the nice and hip West End and quite near Souchiehall St bars and restaurants, though about 1.5 miles from the centre. Own bathroom but not ensuite and on floor below. Breakfast was adequate.

I was very happy with my stay at the Sandyford Lodge Hotel. Received a very warm welcome indeed; room had everything I needed and very comfortable; breakfast served promptly and ample food with seconds. Staff very, very friendly. Would return in a minute.

Booked the hotel to be near arena for a pantomime. The welcome and help we received when we turned up was first class. The hotel room was large, bright and very clean and could not wish for more. Breakfast was efficient and a good start to the day. Would recommend to friends and family.

The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and the Scottish breakfast was good. Only thing breakfast is from 07.00 to 08.30 I would have preferred the breakfast times to be a bit later like most hotels. Other than that I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

A concert at the Hydro seems to be the cue for nearby hotels to bump their prices up! We got the last room for £151 - at least twice their usual price. For that, one might expect a mark-up in their amenities. But it was still very basic with no frills - just a bar of soap. However the beds... More
