So impressed by this welcoming, clean, freshly decorated hotel in a great location in the West end. Room number 10 at the back on the ground floor was enormous with a lovely shower room, quiet, clean, bright and stylish. Cheap parking via the hotel right outside. Excellent breakfast served in bright, comfortable breakfast room. There are dozens of restaurants serving... More

The Sandyford Lodge is located close to Kelvingrove Park and art gallery and to the University of Glasgow without being too far away from the city center, which is a 20 minute walk or so. (Depending on where you are going. There are buses, but the hotel is not particularly handy for Glasgow's relatively limited subway system, which is however... More

Pro - parking is a bit challenging (no reservation) - bathroom is too packed. Con - spacious quadruple room with basic facilities - good location on west end, just steps away to the kelvingrove park and lots of restaurant/nightlife options. - good breakfast -reasonable price

The Sandyford is a competent hotel set on a pleasant and quiet crescent in the West End. There are plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby and the university is within easy walking distance too. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast, which was Beth ordinary - mainly tinned fruits, no fresh croissants or bread, limited cereals. The cooked breakfast... More

The position of this hotel suited us perfectly as we needed to be near the West End of Glasgow, we booked a triple room which was spacious and clean, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was an added bonus, cereal, fruit and juice followed by a Scottish breakfast with toast and tea or coffee. The parking voucher... More

this is a great hotel, very clean, smart throughout. Staff are really friendly with a great breakfast, not as big as it could be for some people but perfect for my appetite. The location is great, lots of places to eat nearby and town centre a short walk away.

The Sandyford Lodge Hotel is within easy walking distance from Glasgow SEEC. We arrived to a warm and friendly welcome which remained with us throughout the week. All staff were friendly, helpful and more than happy to respond to requests with a smile. The Room was clean and tidy and furnished to a nice standard. Cleaned daily with fresh towels.... More

We had two rooms booked one being a Quad 2 x single and 1 x double bed, room nicely decorated a spacious for four adults to share.. Bathroom is small and a bit dated... More

Positives: Room was large and clean. That was the only positive I can think of unfortunately. They request that you do not take your key with you and leave at reception when going out. I did this the first evening, on my return I asked for my room key, I was not asked my name or anything to confirm it... More

Here for a conference at SECC , this hotel is close to the SECC, spotlessly clean, very welcoming and offers a good quality room and facilities, whether you are on business or pleasure. Rooms are comfortable and have good beds and bedding. You will also enjoy a hearty breakfast.
