Really good hotel. Staff really accommodating if a little bit dizzy. Room really clean and breakfast excellent. It was just a bit further into the centre of town than advertised. It was a really good price and value for money

Lovely people, great rooms and only 5 mins from Kelvingrove Park. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful and the decoration of the rooms is lovely. Lots of great places to eat around as well, especially Mother India which I'd recommend to all! Would visit again.

Well situated for the Glasgow West End we enjoyed a large comfortable room (No.10)at the back of the hotel, beautifully decorated and with a spanking new bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and professional. All this and very reasonable rates made for an excellent stay.

It's in a really handy place for the fabulous West End, the food and service were exceptional and the room was exactly what I needed - comfortable, quiet and beautifully maintained. I would definitely stay again!

Most of the staff were smily and nice, beautiful Victorian building with plenty of space in the room, the location for me was perfect only 10 mins walking distance to the conference centre, around the hotel you have some nice places to eat from Italian food to local Scottish food, you can go to the museum is around the corner... So impressed by this welcoming, clean, freshly decorated hotel in a great location in the West end. Room number 10 at the back on the ground floor was enormous with a lovely shower room, quiet, clean, bright and stylish. Cheap parking via the hotel right outside. Excellent breakfast served in bright, comfortable breakfast room. There are dozens of restaurants serving... More

The Sandyford Lodge is located close to Kelvingrove Park and art gallery and to the University of Glasgow without being too far away from the city center, which is a 20 minute walk or so. (Depending on where you are going. There are buses, but the hotel is not particularly handy for Glasgow's relatively limited subway system, which is however... More

Pro - parking is a bit challenging (no reservation) - bathroom is too packed. Con - spacious quadruple room with basic facilities - good location on west end, just steps away to the kelvingrove park and lots of restaurant/nightlife options. - good breakfast -reasonable price

The Sandyford is a competent hotel set on a pleasant and quiet crescent in the West End. There are plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby and the university is within easy walking distance too. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast, which was Beth ordinary - mainly tinned fruits, no fresh croissants or bread, limited cereals. The cooked breakfast... More

The position of this hotel suited us perfectly as we needed to be near the West End of Glasgow, we booked a triple room which was spacious and clean, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was an added bonus, cereal, fruit and juice followed by a Scottish breakfast with toast and tea or coffee. The parking voucher... More
