i stayed overnight while attending a work event. Service from checking in, during evening meal and breakfast to checking out was first class - friendly and so welcoming. I stayed in one of the bedrooms with a newly furnished bathroom so was very comfortable and the stay was extremely good value. Food was well presented and totally delightful. Would recommend... We stayed at the Pipers' Tryst while visiting our daughter over a long weekend. It is an excellent hotel. Well located, close to the city centre. Small but perfectly formed. My only hesitiation in recommending the hotel is the fear that ir will become too popular and we won't be able to get a room when we next visit!

I stayed for some piping tuition, but would use 'The Pipers' Tryst' for any visit to Glasgow. The advantages for me were 1) safe parking close by without costing an arm and a leg. 2) Hope St. and Sauchiehall St. --- ie. the centre of Glasgow in easy walking distance. 3) Easy access to city circular trains. 4) Really helpful... A group of about 30 of us have been going to this hotel for Xmas lunch for the past 4years and we have always been satisfied with the service provided. It is close to shops, shopping malls, cinemas, theatres, etc. The ambiance of the hotel is cosy and the staff are always very pleasant and helpful. I have not stayed in... More

I've been staying here on and off for some 10 years, always a comfortable night and a lovely breakfast. Good location only minutes away from all the action; it really is that close to everything [and I walk everywhere, even to Hampden!]

Friendly staff and the best breakfast I had on my trip. The rooms were warm comfortable and very well insulated for sound. Our room was situated one the first floor and would have been just above the bar area and didn't hear a thing. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit the Piping museum, so we'll have to do it... Enjoyed my stay at the Pipers' Tryst Hotel. Check in was simple with pleasant staff. Room had everything I needed: lovely bathroom, warm and comfortable, good tv channels. Didn't have dinner, but the restaurant was great with a good selection of food and drinks. Breakfast was very good and there was plenty of choice. No parking at the hotel, but... More

No doubt, the best small hotel in Glasgow - great sleeps, the perfect bar and restaurant - wonderful staff always with a smile and good service - within walking distance to all the downtown amenities I travel to Glasgow at least twice a year and would stay no where else... a home away from home for sure.

Got married here over 10 years ago and the hotel has not lost it's charm. Very comfortable, great breakfast and very handy for the Underground to get to my meetings the next day. Was able to go out the door and walk through Theatreland to have a look round all the bars and restaurants right before the door. All round... More
