This hotel is perfect for exploring Glasgow, and to get a good night's sleep. Very good service, excellent continental breakfast, quiet and clean room. The only drawback may be that the restaurant is not open for lunch and dinner on Sundays by all means, but never mind. My choice no. 1 when returning to Glasgow.

Very much enjoyed my stay at The Piper's Tryst. Staff were extremely friendly and this small hotel provided great personal service - much nicer than a large, anonymous, corporate experience. Great location, lovely restaurant, everything easy, and the additional charm of seeing and hearing pipers if you're lucky.

Good value accommodation for location. Small and friendly hotel with a good choice of breakfast and evening meal menu. Nice to know that the cost of accommodation is used to further tuition for the bagpiping school which is also housed in the same building.

We recently had our wedding at The Pipers Tryst and had the most perfect day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The food and service was excellent and all of our guests commented on what a great venue it was. Thank you to all the staff!

Small and charming hotel providing a smiling service, nice food and situation. The room was small but tasteful renovated with a very pleasant bathroom. Parking 100m from the hotel only. A friendly stop over close to the Royal Theatre.

This was just a one night stay and I arrived late. The young man working in the restaurant carried my case to my room and arranged a continental breakfast to be left outside my room before my very early departure. The staff were all extremely helpful, the bed very comfortable, bathroom well equipped and high standard of cleanliness. Would recommend... More

Great value, really helpful staff. A continental breakfast was included and there was a really good selection. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the menu had lots of Scottish specialities and was vey well-priced.

We stayed at Pipers' Tryst for a few nights, then returned for another night, having become infatuated with Glasgow. We had excellent service from all staff. They provided hints that made our touring around the city superb. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel--great croissants! We also had one dinner there, which was very good. The location is good for walking... More

From the moment we arrived, we were treated fantastically by the staff, who were simultaneously incredibly helpful and very sincere. We were shown quickly to our room, and settled in. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. We made dinner reservations and were not disappointed. The haggis here was the best i'd had all trip, and i'd tried a lot!... More

I wanted an unusual experience for my hen night and so organised, in conjunction with the National Piping Centre, an afternoon of fun which commenced with lunch in the restaurant (very tasty) followed by a guided tour of the museum, a come and try session on the bagpipes and a scottish beer tasting. It was very well organised and hosted... More
