I am gluten free and they provided a gluten free menu and the food was excellent. the room we stayed in was immaculate and had a bath and overhead shower. taxi from Queen street railway station... My partner and I stayed here for £48 through the Itison deal and it was great. Our room was lovely and a big comfy bed. Everything was very clean. We had the Pipe Major's breakfast in the morning which set us for the day! My only one wee complaint would be charging us £1 for a bottle of water -... More

Stayed here mid week after buying a voucher on line for B&B. Although the hotel was very central, no parking but can park in NCP for £2 , so not expensive. We were not able to have the breakfast as it did not start service til 8am, which is too late, as we had work to go to so needed... More

We will definitely return. Small Scottish 8 room hotel which oozes character.Friendly staff, comfortable room, and the cooked Scottish breakfast was perfect. Very clean. With it's central location it was easy to walk to main shopping malls etc and theatres. Even walking from Queen street railway station was only 10 mins max. I especially would recommend it to tourists wanting... More

I recently had a day's work in Glasgow city centre. My previous experience with hotels in this area is somewhat variable and the Pipers' Tryst was recommended by a colleague, so I booked a couple of nights there. The booking was easy and straightforward using their web site. I received a warm and friendly greeting upon arrival and was soon... More

Had read previous reviews and found a B&B deal on Itison. The breakfast was first class - food of high quality cooked to order. Over the 2 days we each had a Pipe Majors breakfast but also Smoked Salmon and scrambled eggs and smoked haddock with 2 poached eggs - all supberb!! The city centre location is brilliant and all... Marie greeted us warmly and helped us took care of our luggage since we were quite early and our room was not quite ready. She gave us maps and helped us figure out how... More

Stayed at the Pipers Tryst via an online B&B deal, chosen particularly for its nearby city-centre location. Warm welcome from helpful, efficient staff. Room compact but comfortable with well-stocked en-suite. Dinner in the hotel was exceptional, with a 10 out of 10 for the chef's cullen skink soup. After dinner the waiter even provided a small jug of fresh milk... More

Used this hotel for an overnight stay in Glasgow after attending a concert at the Hydro. Only 8 rooms but exceptionally clean and completely adequate. Breakfast very good and the service at reception and at breakfast was friendly and attentive. Location very good right at the top of Hope St. 2 minutes from Sauchiehall St, and 5 minutes from Buchanan... More

We stayed over at the hotel to meet up with relatives and visit The Stand Comedy Club. We were made to feel welcome, asked if we needed any help in finding our way around the city, advice on places to go etc. For a very small hotel, tucked away from the biz but within walking distance of many main attractions,...
