Stayed at the Pipers Tryst for just a single night as my husband and I were attending a christmas party in the city. When checking in we were given a room on the 1st floor by a lovely girl who was friendly and polite. Our room and bathroom were both beautifully clean and comfortable. Not a sound at night from... I was attending the Sports Personality of the Year Awards and booked in to the Piper's Tryst. I was given a lovely warm welcome and shown to my room which was superb. Had a great night's sleep and a top quality breakfast in the morning. Well done to you all. Will definitely stay here if I am in Glasgow in... More

What a way to start our Scottish vacation. The hotel was quaint, the rooms ample and the bath good. For being on the edge of Cowcaddens Rd. a very busy street, we never heard any noise in our room, even with some construction across the street on the theatre. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was great. I recommend... More

Great little boutique hotel the beds are amazing, like someone previously my only fault was the noise from the extract fan which was constant . Great location close to shopping, pubs, high end eateries the city centre is only a five minute walk abut longer uphill back

We stayed for one night on Friday 7 November. On entering our room we could near the loud noise coming from an extractor fan. I immediately went down to the restaurant to enquire about this, I was assured that the fan would be switched off at 8 pm. I was offered a quieter room but as we were going out... More

Thank you for taking time to review our small ‘Restaurant with Rooms’. We are terribly sorry that you did not enjoy your recent stay. We are very grateful for your comments as it has allowed us to scrutinise this area of our building and the guest’s experience. As an old church building, the extractor fans have been placed on the... More

A bit hard to.locate given car rental was out of.maps but clean location with local charm. Parking was secure. Liked that hotel benefits piping center. Walking distance to restaurants and willow tea room and pubs. Loved old school pub corner.

We recently attended a wedding ceremony at the Piping Centre. Drinks and nibbles were provided after the Wedding downstairs where we had to stand in the shop, in the museum or cram into a small bar area. The staff serving the food were all very pleasant, food looked very nice but two of the drinks/bar staff were incredibly rude when... More

Thank you for your feedback. After spending time investigating this complaint, the conclusion we have come to is that none of our staff were discourteous to you, simply you were a little impatient and couldn't wait a few minutes whilst we replenished the drinks station. It is common at weddings that the Bride and Groom provide one drink post-ceremony. This... More

We recently spent 11 days in Scotland, starting at the Piper's Tryst Hotel for two nights. The check-in was effortless, and they allowed us to check in early as our flight landed at 0730 and we had not slept overnight. We were welcomed by a beautifully decorated, adequately sized room with a view across Cowcaddens and into downtown Glasgow. All... More

Used the Pipers tryst for our Silver wedding Anniversary in August. From the very begining nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the team from answering our questions to creating an ad hoc menu with our choices rather than the "standard" menu options. The team gave us access to the museum area of the hotel for a red carpet,... More

We stayed here the night before and the night of our wedding. The staff can't do enough for you, the rooms are spacious and the beds are extra comfy. We had a cooked breakfast to set us up for the day, which was lovely, even though the kids stole my haggis! The location is great, right in the centre of... More
