The staff, the location and the atmosphere are excellent. I have stayed at the Piper's tryst on many occasions, travelling alone, with collegues and with my wife, and on every occasion we have all been delighted with the service given in this small, very professionally run, friendly Hotel. It's location ,in Theatreland adds to the range of clientel,it's proximity to the Subway,... more

We rolled up looking for a room with no reservation, the staff in the bar were very helpful in arranging a room for us. The room was quite small but contained everything you'd expect, lovely sheets, comfy bed, chair, table, TV, hospitality tray. The bathroom was not quite so great, the grout was going brown and there was an amount... more

Staff - excellent. Extremely helpful and polite. Food - excellent. Mostly traditional Scottish fare but very well made and presented. The pre-theatre dinner was very good value. Good fresh food, very classy. Decor / theme - tastefully tartan, as I say. Don't go way overboard in order to appeal to tourists, it's very comfortable and retains plenty of Scottish charm.... more

Very poor service at this place. Booking service was a disaster, no response to complaints. Give the place a wide berth. more

I stayed at The Pipers' Tryst recently and had a wonderful time. What a nice, friendly hotel. It is small - only 8 bedrooms but really is a 'home from home'. The staff were amazing...so friendly and couldn't have done enough, even the general manager was service breakfast on my last morning and then cleaning the bedrooms with the housekeeper.... more

This is a small hotel, which is clean and near Buchanan Bus Station and the centre. Price I paid was £100 for 2 nights B&B. There is some noise from traffic, though I did not find this a problem, and if you are at the side of the building from the vent in the building opposite. I was travelling on... more

I actually got married at the Piping Centre, but only just occured to me to review it here. The staff at the Piping Centre really could not be more helpful. They are amongst the most professional I've come across in my many stays in the world's hotels! The facilities at the PC are great, the hall we had the ceremony,... more
