On a quiet street, 4 minutes from Exhibition Rail Centre, the Flower House is warm, welcoming, and beautifully appointed with period furniture. My pink room was so comfortable, with the most beautiful view of a garden, still in bloom in mid-Sept. The breakfast were delicious and the eggs, fresh from a local farm, were a real treat. My visit lasted... more

As a Sri Lankan and Doctor, I admire the hospitality and kindness than anyother nation or any professional! During my stay at the Flower house, I would say the best place to be , the best hospitality I got and the best friendleyness I have ever come a cross and it was Not second to happiness I get in my... more

The street St Vincent Crescent where The Flower House Hotel is in, is very nice with lots of flowers. This hotel is very welcoming and has very nice hospitality. The Lady and Gentleman of the hotel is so very ploite and has a lovely welcoming about them. The service is brilliant, your breakfast is served on Royal Albert China and... more

This home should be listed as one of glasgows attractions. I would thouroughly recommend a stay here. Susan and Ian welcome you into there home as if you are one of the family; being a lone traveller, This was exactly what I needed, and I feel I have now made a friend in the delightful couple. They are a great... more

Haven't even stayed here-I live in the same street and went to enquire about possible vacancies on behalf of a friend who is planning to come to Glasgow soon. Nobody answered the locked door for "ages" and when a woman finally came I was told there were no vacancies and (literally) told to "go away"! I hadn't even said the... more

Susan Docherty, Owner

When I informed this lady that I could not let her in when she arrived, she perceived this as rudeness. The rooms were occupied at that time in the morning and the guests were either having breakfast or waiting for their breakfast. A phone call to arrange a time to suit us both to discuss her requirements and to see...

I stayed at the Flower House for three months while working in Glasgow. From the moment I walked through the door I was welcomed by Susan and Ian like it was my own home. The luxury of the house coupled with the warmth of the family made this experience so much better for me. The rooms are lovely, the beds... more

Spent 11 days with the wonderful owners of The Flower House! Great location: only four blocks from Exhibition Center train station and 3 minute ride to Glasgow Central. Full use of kitchen is a GREAT plus and sharing of bathroom is not an issue!! I highly recommend---absolutely NO qualification to this recommendation. Enjoy!! more

My mum and I stayed here last weekend and had a very comfortable stay. We shared a twin room with bathroom along the hall and use of the kitchen too. A very generous breakfast was served in the room which was great. Ideally located near good eateries (we can recommend the local Thai restaurant and Ardre's Bistro), local shops and... more

From the first moment upon arrival we were greeted with big smiles and made to feel very warmly welcome. I stayed with my daughter for 9 nights when she attended a conference at the nearby Conference Centre. Nothing was too much trouble from special dietary requirements to washing. Ian's encyclopediac knowledge of Scotish history and sociology was amazing. he regaled... more

A lovely little B&B in a really nice, quiet area of west Glasgow. Made to feel very welcome on arrival and were given a very pretty room. However, we were a bit surprised that it wasn't en-suite (may have been me not reading website possibly!) but bathroom was very close by and we were the only ones there so was... more
