We stayed here for the last weekend of the Commonwealth Games and we thought it was an absolute bargain given some of the prices we'd been quoted elsewhere! We ordered a twin room and got a huge triple, had free wifi, tea and Scottish shortbread, and the breakfast was included and really generous - they'd cook you whatever you wanted... More

TERRIBLE! Resembled a hostel rather than a hotel, and quite removed from the city centre. The money saved on the room was definitely outweighed by the money spent on taxis to the centre. Dirty cramped bathroom and old style décor.

Situated a short distance from Glasgow's botanic gardens, Kelvingrove museum and the university campus, this family run hotel offers a relatively affordable option in Scotland's 'granite city'. Having extended a recent city break I welcomed the chance to spend a couple more days here. The communal areas downstairs were all spacious, clean and tidy and everything was really well presented.... More

Stayed for two nights in July. Incredibly priced which is what attracted us! In a nice area just a few minutes walk from Byres Road and close to two subway stations, lots of nice pubs/cafes/restaurants near by. Room was a very decent size (we stayed in room 7) and despite being overlooking Great Western Road was not noisy. Clean and... More

This was our second stay at the Heritage. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the showers brilliant. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfasts are fine. The location is fantastic; right in the west end, near Byres road and the Botanic Gardens, handy for the subway and buses. I don't think you'll find better value... More

The heritage is a great hotel in a great location and good value for money, but unfortunately we got the room of doom situated directly under the kitchen, which is great if you want awakened at 6am when the breakfasts begin getting served. It sounds like there is a rocket launching above you when the water taps are turned on,... More

Our second & definitely not our last visit to this lovely, friendly, great value for money hotel. Not even a leak from the upstairs bathroom was any trouble. So swiftly & efficiently dealt with it never dampened our stay lol. Thoroughly recommend this hotel for a City stay. You won't be disappointed.

Stayed here for one night as we were going to a party at Oran Mor which is about 5 minutes walk from hotel. Bit of a hassle to get to by car but we eventually managed to get a parking space on Cecil street. Jim the reception guy was very pleasant and filled us in nicely on where room was... More

This hotel is in a very good location for any activity at the University. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was very good. You definitely get 'Buns of steel' going up and down the stairs which was great exercise for us. I would recommend this hotel. We had a room at the back of the hotel which was... More

My partner and i have just come back from a 2 night stay at this hotel, location is fantastic, room was a good size, we had the room in the basement. It was nicely decorated and clean. TV was a bit small but really its not why I came away for the weekend. When we checked in, Jim the reception... More
