This hotel was very unusual. Situated on only the 6th floor of a building overlooking the rails in Central station. However, despite it's uninspiring doorway and entrance, once on the 6th floor it is a wonderful surprise. The décor is new and very modern and the layout of the floor including the kitchen/dinning area is very quirky. My single room... More

We were off to a concert and wanted a convenient location for one nights B&B. How lovely therefore to find so much more. Staff were just perfect, probably as friendly, helpful and polite as I've found anywhere. The room was spotless, had all you need, comfy sprung beds, hot showers, crisp towels, free tea and cakes. Well, I'll just say... More

Don't know where the name comes from but you should hop along there the next time you plan a stay in Glasgow. Very Central, on 6th floor (adequate lift access)of building in front of the Central Station (entrance right next door). Hidden reception (its on the left), very quick check in, rooms very modern, comfortable and a big screen TV.... More

We stayed here for the night on the England v Scotland game. Twin room number 625 for £105. The room was great, with sky and a fan which made no noise at all. My friend arrived at 10:45 and the room was ready for him and they let him check in which was great after an early start. Nice cupcakes... More

As frequently mentioned the entrance to the hotel is not obvious - if arriving by train take the Union Street exit (next to the main toilets), turn right and the Caledonian Chambers doorway is a few metres away on the same side of the road. The building houses railway offices and the hotel is on the 6th floor. Exit the... More

Who knew there was a hotel here, if my usual hadn't been booked I would have not looked further, so glad I found this place. Friendly welcome, quirky room, spotless bathroom & bedding, free cup cakes, fresh milk for tea & bottled water & Smarties in room a nice touch. Very close to central station. Loved our stay.

Good hotel for a short business trip. Located on the 6th floor in an office building but don't let that put you off. Modern style, quality rooms, good service & an all you can eat cooked breakfast! Location is brilliant when arriving by rail..

After wrestling the buggy through the small and hidden front door we took a lift to the 6th floor where it was like stepping into a different World entirely. Beautiful original art lines the walls and our bedroom was a good size considering we needed a travel cot and buggy in there (we managed to keep the buggy up which... More

Great location and very good hotel. Staff very attentive and everything you need for a city break. The accommodation is simple but very clean tidy and comfortable . The breakfast is self service and they also do evening meals. Free tea and coffee with cakes are available throughout. Highly recommended.

This hotel is one I will go back to again and again. Totally central to Glasgow it is just a minute from central station. Overall it is contemporary, high spec and very special. Home made cupcakes made by the night staff are offered as well as a comfy lounge with chilled wine and staff being fresh milk in flask for... More
