although not in the nicest of locations it is very central for a visit to Glasgow. From the moment we arrived at reception the staff were very helpfull polite and friendly, showing us to our room , and then bringing a tray of coffee, a flask of fresh milk, and cakes. Although a bit on the small size the room... More

This hotel is located on the sixth floor of an office building a stones throw from Central Station after 5.30 you access the building with a code obtained by using an intercom system to contact reception. There is the option to dine in family style which we did not realize until we arrived. The evening we arrived there was no... More

The hotel is located in an industrial building. Upon entering, you will see a small and unappealing lobby. But not to worry. Take the elevator to the 6th floor and you will find the hotel. The rooms are small, enough for 2 adults. No room phones. No hairdryers. No iron. All you have to do is ask the front desk.... More

This is just steps outside the Central train station. Extremely secure, fresh, bright and a very quiet room. Breakfast is very good and done family style, rooms are comfortable and not ordinary in the least. Very friendly staff.

this might possibly be the best little hotel in Scotland! unique concept and this is the only hotel that the owner owns. the 29 rooms are tucked up top on the 6th floor of an office building and after 5:30 the front door is locked and you need a code to get access. didnt realize that they served a very... To be honest, I was caught between a 3 and a 4 star review here, but as I can't select a half star I've opted to give the higher review, even though it would just cut that. The hotel is nice, and it's interesting being a converted office building which isn't the usual type of hotel conversion. The rooms aren't... More

The Grasshoppers Hotel is hidden away on the top floor of a commercial building conveniently located in central Glasgow. Entering the building gives one no sense of the modern and welcoming experience that awaits on the 6th floor. The hotel feels light, bright and cheery. Our room faced the roof of the Central Train Station and was extremely quiet. Rooms... More

Though I was very skeptical when we first arrived at the entrance to this hotel (which is a rather run-down looking office building), I was quite happily surprised when we got off the elevator to find a clean, modern, nicely decorated hotel with friendly desk staffers and a huge room! We had a larger room overlooking the station and aside... More

Fantastic hotel in the centre of Glasgow. Nice room with powerful shower in en suite. Comfortable bed. Tea & coffee making facilities with complimentary fairy cakes. We even had a tube of Smarties in the room which went down well with my chocolate loving wife. Excellent breakfast with nice fresh fruit and yoghurt and real bread to make real toast... More

Hotel is in the heart of Glasgow City Centre looking over the spectacular glass roof of Central station. Despite this we found it fantastically quiet. No noise from outside or inside the hotel. Rooms must be well sound-proofed. Our larger-double was compact, but not cramped, and had a spacious and powerful shower. Room was spotless and bed and bedding was... More
