I love staying here. Whenever I come to Glasgow on business this is where I stay. Fresh coffee and cupcakes to welcome you on arrival, huge luxurious towels, in the cleanest hotel bathrooms I have ever seen, the most comfortable bed, lovely decor, fresh and fun throughout the hotel. Food is great, home cooked and a friendly service in the... More

Exceptional value for money, clean & fresh room, comfortable bedding, nice smellies in the bathroom, good shower - absolutely superb customer service from all the people we encountered - good location & public transport links - quite a small breakfast choice, but adequate - free, delicious home baking & unlimited tea/coffee supplies in room. A real find & will be... More

Lovely modern bright hotel situated on sixth floor above offices, accessed via lift. Intercom / code access from street during evening and night with 24hour reception. Also available for guests to use is a sitting room with tea and coffee facilities. Our room was spotless, with ensuite facilities: good shower, though toilet a bit tight. Excellent breakfast, some lovely touches... More

I stayed here for a weekend with 2 friends. We visit for short breaks. Shared a triple room. Once you find this hotel above offices at Central Station (very central) you'll love it. It seems to be staffed by young women who provide quality, from excellent breakfasts to quality rooms. We were 3 guys in our 60's and had a... More

I stay regularly at this hotel, being in Glasgow on business, and since finding it I have never wanted to book anywhere else, I would go as far as to say if there was no availability, I would consider re-scheduling my trip! The modern decor and furnishings, the period features of the old building, the spotlessly clean rooms, the fantastic... More

What a gem of a hotel! I loved this hotel, with its personal service, immaculate décor, quiet and central location, amazing attention to detail and great meals. It offered very good value for money too and I am looking forward to going back.

I am still staying at the Grasshopper having arrived four days ago. I will be very sorry to leave in the morning. As other reviewers have said, the hotel doesn't look much from the outside being set on the sixth floor of a grade 2 listed building where all the other floors are owned by other companies. There are two... More

Stayed here for a business trip. Travelling from Liverpool to Glasgow, I didn't want to set off early in the morning so travelled up the night before so I could make my meeting refreshed and relaxed. The hotel is in a great location if you've travelled by train. Having driven up, the distance from the nearest car parks to the... More

I recently stayed here for two nights. What an interesting little gem of a place. As others have said in reviews, the entrance is a bit strange but once you have either buzzed the intercom and been let in off the street (after hours) ,or there is a door person at a desk by the elevator during day hours, the...
