We were very lucky to have had the opportunity to stay at Grasshopper's in June, and we selected the hotel for it's great reviews, it's proximity to the train station, and because we were looking to spend some time in a space that offered something different on our trip (i.e. a boutique hotel). It is definitely quirky and cool, and... More

The hotel is located in an excellent spot...close to restaurants and city life. The rooms, however, are very small...even for European standards. Food was good. The service was good on the hotel. There is parking if needed.

The staff here were exceptionally kind and helpful. They all put a lot of effort into making me feel at home, bringing me coffee and free pastries to my room when I checked in and made sure I didn't leave without a decent warm breakfast. The room was not huge but sufficient and all the amenities and clean linen and... More

An unusual hotel on the top floor of an Edwardian office block. Entry is through a grumpily staffed security desk and a slow lift to the 6th floor, but when you get there it's all welcome and light. The staff are lovely. There's a slightly communal feel to breakfast and dinner (which you need to book). The rooms have everything... More

I cannot say enough about this wonderful hotel in Glasgow. It is located on the 6th floor of a business office called the Caledonian Chambers, just next door to the Central Train Station. When you step off the the 6th floor this modern hotel greats you and you feel so comfortable right away. The rooms are small but outfitted perfectly... More

We stayed for four nights and enjoyed our stay. The staff were really helpful and the hotel's ambience was relaxed. The room we stayed in was quite big and comfortable. There are no wardrobes but ask for a clothes rail with hangers which staff offered to us as we were staying for more than a night or two. Breakfast was... More

A great well priced hotel in Central Glasgow. We had a triple room and a larger double room for our family of five. We loved the Scandi inspired interiors, clean and comfortable rooms, great bathrooms with excellent showers and extra touches such as free bottled water in the rooms, cupcakes and home made ice-cream. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable... More

The location is excellent, with easy access to public transit, restaurants, shopping, and downtown sites. The rooms are perfect, the food is good, and the staff is outstanding. This was our first stop on a two week trip and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience.

With only one night on a backpacking trip through the UK, the Grasshopper was a perfect fit. While central Glasgow can still be a little shady after dark, the Grasshopper provides safety, security, and excellent quiet accommodations. Just steps from the train station, literally, up six floors and you've got a super cute boutique hotel, complete with free cupcakes, cookies,... More

stayed here last night, a wee surprise for my birthday, booked by my partner after reading all the excellent reviews on tripadvisor. There's nothing really wrong with it, but it is what it is, a block of offices chopped into pods, with a box in it containing a shower room. It's not luxury, you don't have to ask for a... More
