I had booked a single room whichwasnt available when i got there so i ended up in a dark smelly room with 4 bunk beds and no room to swing a cat. The place looked likea CONDEMNED house. The shower didnt work and trying to find your roomwas like completing a maze trek. People at the door steps drinking and... more

This place has to be seen to be believed, and not in a good way. The staff were very suspicous of us, 4 girls aged between 19 and 21. We had no room key so couldnt leave any valuables in the room, the window wouldn't close because there were wires going outside and it had to be kept open with... more

This hostel is the most creepy hostel I have ever stayed at! The police came twice in three nights! the second of which because a staff member and a friend were fighting and knives were involved! The hostel is filthy, the staff rude and there are many creepy doors. I just feel that If you look very well, you will... more

This place really is the worst accommodation in the world. I agree with everything bad written about this place on this site., it's all true. If you want to say that you have stayed in the worst accommodation in the world then this is the place to gain that claim. I would add that the carpets are so dusty it... more

I have stayed at The Globetrotters hostel on many occasions while being in Glasgow. It is a fabulous place to stay. The hostel is very friendly and the staff could not be more helpful and will go out of their way to see that your stay is as pleasant and comfortable as possble. The hostel has a good size kitchen... more

I originally wrote this review not long after visiting the hostel in question, but it was rejected due to my alluding to the fact that the advertisement of said hostel could potentially be construed as misleading. Tripadvisor has contacted me to say they will be reviewing the hostel again themselves in the near future. Thank you to Tripadvisor for maintaining... more

This hostel is a bad joke. It stinks, restrooms and rooms are in a pitiable shape, and the staff is drunk and doesn't care for anything. Moreover, reservations are not respected (if there is an event in Glasgow and everything is booked up), even if you paid in advance! This happened to us and several other people when we wanted... more
