Stayed here for one night to sample the west end of Glasgow, was very impressed with the cleanliness of all areas of the hotel with a special mention for the decor of the small breakfast room. The room we were allocated was situated in the basement and was a reasonable size, the en-suite shower room was only let down by... More

I am glad i remembered to put a review on here. I stayed here on a one night stay and could not have asked for anything more. My room was spotless, not just clean it was perfect. The bathroom is always the first place i look and then the bed. Both were pristine. On arrival the Receptionist George was just... More

The Kelvingrove is a clean, tidy and modern hotel in a good location on the edge of the city centre in Glasgow's west end. The staff were very friendly and helpful, parking was reasonably priced and the breakfasts were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here whilst visiting a relative who was in the Western Infirmary. The hospital was about a 10 minute walk from the hospital, also close to the Kelvingrove Museum. It was a very convenient place to stay with good restaurants close by. The hotel was comfortable, very reasonably priced and provided a hearty varied breakfast.

Stayed at his hotel back because we were attending a concert at the Hydro. First impression was okay. Basement so a bit tatty but fit for purpose. Was only there half an hour and hd to make our way to the venue. Came back late and went to bed. Whole night the building shook, rattled and rolled as if a... More

We are sorry your experience at the Kelvingrove was marred by the unfortunate incident with your shower. However to address the matter of our response first, the email address you quoted in your review is the address from which pre booking reminder emails are sent to all guest’s, it quite clearly states at the top of the email the following::... We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good too. The only small thing was that the windows in our room were a bit drafty, especially in the bathroom but it wasn't a major issue.

Lovely room, very clean and great location. Only let down was being unable to use shower due to a blockage. Also very loud droning noise each time flush was pulled, due to a plumbing issue, which staff assured me would be resolved.

Room only stay. Large & spacious. Very helpful booking with George!! Shower.... Mmm barely warm enough. And the bedroom was stinking of smoke!! This was despite it being a no smoking room. Water use results in a burst of noise similar to a jumbo jet every fifteen seconds?! Fine for our stay, but hotter showers would have helped.

We do apologise that your stay was spoiled by the smell of smoke in your room. On departure all our rooms are thoroughly cleaned and if a smell of smoke is detected the room is deep cleaned and fumigated and the departing guest is charged a fine of £50 to cover the additional costs. On this occasion nothing had been... More

We needed a hotel near to Yorkhill children's hospital and this street fits the bill.I am surprised the hotel doesn't advertise this fact and we were also surprised that the receptionist knew the general direction of the hospital but could not give us directions as it is just down the road. The receptionist is very quiet and although we were polite...
