Room only stay. Large & spacious. Very helpful booking with George!! Shower.... Mmm barely warm enough. And the bedroom was stinking of smoke!! This was despite it being a no smoking room. Water use results in a burst of noise similar to a jumbo jet every fifteen seconds?! Fine for our stay, but hotter showers would have helped.

We needed a hotel near to Yorkhill children's hospital and this street fits the bill.I am surprised the hotel doesn't advertise this fact and we were also surprised that the receptionist knew the general direction of the hospital but could not give us directions as it is just down the road. The receptionist is very quiet and although we were polite... Stayed here after watching Celtic v Inter Milan. Only paid £60 so was worth the money. Quick check in and given a key for late night entry and a warning to keep the noise down at night. Very close to centre of Glasgow and Celtic Park, however will probably stay in the centre as it was a bit of a... More

The Kelvingrove is perfectly situated right next to the West End (if you're into that sort of thing), when we arrived, we were greeted with an explosion of caffiene induced humor and whirlwind of excellet suggestions. One word: Neil. What a babe. If it wasn't for Neil, I don't know what I'd do, he gave impecable dinner suggestions, and knew... More

I stayed at the Kelvingrove hotel for one night with 3 other women. The hotel was lovely with nice rooms that provided the essentials, quite and rather cute but the staff was a bit of a let down. Upon arrival the male receptionist didn't even say hello just said "Names" which took us by surprise, we went on to check... More

These were 4 young girls coming for a night out in Glasgow. When they arrived they were asked to pay as per our policy, they insisted that they had already paid, it took our Manager 15 mins to convince them that they had not in fact paid, had they checked their trip summary on Expedia they would have seen that... We stayed here for 1 night on Wednesday 14th jan. We were pleasantly surprised after our stay at another hotel in Glasgow. This hotel was spotless clean and the man at the desk was very welcoming and friendly, wish I had asked his name. Breakfast was also very good and plentiful. Tried to book again for two weeks time but... More

We had a clean, large room with high a ceiling. Friendly staff and good location made this hotel a great choice while visiting our Daughter attending the University of Glasgow. Hotel is one a major street that offers easy access to shopping, etc. but the street is not too busy. Room was relatively quiet.

Stayed over for two nights to meet up with my son and his family and do a bit of Christmas shopping. We had 2 family rooms that had every thing you would need. Plenty towels, coffee and tea facilities, TV. The bed was comfortable and fresh and the grandchildren said their beds were good as well. The staff were very... More
