Not one of the snazziest hotels on the planet but serviceable and inexpensive. Friendly, well priced, great location, free (weekend) on street parking, good sized room, clean and comfortable, good breakfast. Hotel was situated near kelvingrove park... Plenty bars and restaurants nearby. Friendly staff, quick and easy check in. Stayed in quiet room in basement of hotel. Room was quite small, but smart, tasteful and freshly decorated. Recommended.

Stayed March 2012. Very central, newly refurbished and very hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble. Spotlessly clean and a great nights sleep.

Have just returned from a one night stay at the Kelvingrove....Very pleased it was just one night!!! Good points: Central location,lovely reception area and average breakfast.
