Travelodge always good value but the staff make this one 5* they are just so friendly and helpful thanks for making my stay a pleasurable experience and looking after a stranger in a strange city. I'll definitely stay here again.

Stayed here recently - paid a premium for 2 rooms as Glasgow was busy with people staying for Rider Cup. Room smelled damp, lots of noise from other rooms and TV didn't work! No answer from reception when we called for help and compensation voucher was promised but never sent

as the address suggests the travelodge is up a hill , so if you are walking from the station it is a hilly walk . the staff were fab , especially Libby who made us welcome , we arrived very early as traveled on the sleeper train which gets in a 7.30 , were able to leave our bags at... More

Hotel was a typical travelodge with friendly and helpful staff. Family room was a decent size with comfy bedding but there were a few dried blood stains on the carpet which is a little off putting! We had a low floor room which appeared to have some noise from the air con outside but was on the whole ok for... More

Myself and 2 friends stayed here with our teenage daughters as they were going to a concert in Glasgow. For the price it was an excellent value hotel - clean and very comfortable. The thing that raised it above the ordinary, however, was the quality of the staff. They could not have been more friendly and helpful. From the receptionist... More

It has been a long time since I have stayed anywhere where both the walls and ceiling (almost any flat surface) has the rolled plaster effect last seen in the 80's. Granted everything had been painted and spruced up as part of the brand make-over but you can not cover this. Only 2 minutes from one of the main streets... More

Ideal location for theatre, quiet hotel, we booked 6 months notice as a twin but ended up getting a double as "we were last to check in", offered breakie to make up for it, but, as we party all night this was no good, however, to be fair, we did get £25 off next booking.

Hesitantly I booked to stay at Travelodge as my usual hotels in Glasgow were full. Such a great experience. Efficient, friendly reception staff member, Immaculate room, perfectly adequate space for my requirements. 30 minutes complimentary wifi worked well. One of the most comfortable beds in the whole world! Peaceful night. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Bath had effective hot... More

Room really comfortable, but stay made by staff on reception who were excellent. Entrance is a bit low rent, but accessible enough for Sauchiehall street and the like. The room was a mix of the old style Travelodge teamed with the new stripey decor.
