Travelodge does what it says on the tin - clean, comfortable, contemporary, everything you need for a stay away from home at a nice price - and on this occasion, our first visit to Glasgow - we got so much more than that. The staff there are so friendly and helpful, and provided a welcoming oasis after we were stranded... More

Firstly, the location of this hotel is excellent - very close to the shopping area which made it great for what we wanted. The outside of the hotel looks like you are going into a car park; it looks run down. However reception is clean and tidy. We arrived on Friday at 1pm and were told we would have to... More

We appreciate the time you have taken to review our hotel. We’re pleased to learn that you were happy with the location of our hotel. We aim to situate our hotels in great locations so guests can take advantage of many places nearby to visit. Although our hotels offer an early check in service, this is on a first come... More

Really surprised, very nice and clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Food was fine, cooked when ordered. Have had much worse service at dearer hotels. Would definitely stay at a Travelodge again. Well done Glasgow Central and thanks..

I really didn't have high expectations of this stay. I thought its a Travelodge its going to be cheap budget accommodation. I was very wrong. It was cheap but it was also in a great city centre location. Reception was clean and modern with really helpful and friendly staff who couldn't do enough for me. The bedrooms was spotless and... Stayed for one night recently. Hotel very central, within walking distance of Sauchiehall Street. Recently refurbished room on third floor situated at the back, so no traffic noise. Efficient lifts, thank goodness. Bed comfortable and clean, and staff friendly and helpful. Didn't eat there so can't comment. Easy to check in and out.

Basic but very decent, Travelodges are great for cheap prices and short stays. In my case, this was perfect and was right at the center of Glasgow, close to the shops, the Willow Tea Rooms and the ABC venue. Not so much to add, it's just like many other Travelodges and this one was clean and convenient. We stayed in... More

A hidden charge of £10 for early check-in which was not highlighted to me when I booked our stay even though I requested it on making the reservation. My sons bed was only a camper bed under the window which proved to be in a draft. Very noisy. Bed was comfortable.

We have stayed here before, and have always been satisfied with the friendly, efficient service and the level of comfort. This hotel is low on price but not on quality. A central location is very convenient for shops, pubs and public transport. All of the popular tourist attractions are easily accessible with a combination of walking or using public transport.... Stayed here on a Friday night, check in was quick and efficient and off we went to our room on the 3rd floor. The room was quite small but well equipped with usual tv and tea/coffee making facilities. The room however was covered in artex on walls and roof and very dated. Bathroom was tiny and in need of an... More
