Stayed here midweek. Really handy location for walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants etc. about 15 minute walk from queen street station taking it easy. I paid £40 for one night which is very cheap, but really only need room to get changed and out most of time. Hotel rooms are recently decorated but bathrooms are not great. Hardly any... More

Travelodge should change the name of this hotel - its not central, but not that far off really. The room was clean and basic, as you would expect. Window was broken, which means loads of traffic noise. No staff was visible during the stay, well expect when we checked in. Refurb rooms.... I'm not sure what Travelodge call a refurb,... More

Excellent location for this hotel, used it many years ago, not changed hugely but very impressed by friendly and attentive staff. I had a room to the rear which was fine, only problem I had was because the hotel has larger beds now the room was quite small and this meant there was not a lot of space to move... More

Excellent stay, great value for money, good arrangement with car park across the road. Would recommend staying here. Great breakfasts and very helpful staff, great location. Rooms clean and were quiet when we were there, stayed at the back of the hotel.

The only positive note is that this hotel was quite close to the city centre. However the room had a very dull look: the walls were horrendously decorated, the kettle did't work properly at first, the mattress was warped, the bathroom had a very cheap look and there were no wardrobe with doors. This hotel needs a complete renovation, from... More

Stayed here for a friends stag do. The staff were friendly and had a great sense of humour with our party (cheers for the masking tape guys). The location is good and central with it being a 10 minute walk to Queen St Station. The rooms were a little dated and the shower was temperamental at best. Having said that... More

Booked in here following a recommendation from a colleague. Only stayed one night on a business trip but found it to be a good location for a quick walk into the city centre. There is a multi storey car park across the road that is only £2.50 overnight from 6.00pm to 8.00am. The hotel is clean and the room was... More

So business trip booked at last minute. Take That in town so many others, i.e. Thistle and Holiday inns all gone. This place is near the Thistle Hotel and that is its only good point! On arrival loud music ( it was poor) and a strong odour of curry made you aware they did do food. Room very basic, double... More

Great one night stay, lovely large and clean room and bathroom. The staff were extremely helpful, cheerful and organised a taxi to the railway station for us. They also do airport transfers for 2 pounds per person. They provide a cooked buffet breakfast from as early as 4am we were told, but we didn't have time for it, however, I... More

Went to a gig in Glasgow recently, chose travelodge hotel as it was close to venue & very reasonably priced. The staff were helpful & friendly. The room was bright, airy and very clean. Good sized bathroom also. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good hotel at an excellent price.
