We stayed here for 2 nights in June, and couldn't have been happier at being able to stay somewhere in Glasgow that felt like you were in a village hotel somewhere outside the city. Coming from just outdide the Glasgow area we've stayed in many of the city centre hotels and while it is great to be in the centre... More

The Hotel was clean, a bit dated but staff were really friendly. Rooms very clean and bathroom spacious. Bar and restaurant were well stocked and staff knowledgeable about Glasgow and very helpful. The food was brilliant and lots of choice for breakfast.

We've been traveling around the UK, and this is the first place we've stayed where we were unhappy with our accommodations. We weren't sure which part of town would be most convenient, so we looked at a place in the West End and this one. On the map, the West End looks far away from center city and the train... More

The staff's friendliness and helpfulness elevated my rating from average to very good. A couple of my quibbles could easily be sorted out to make future stays more enjoyable: 1) the hotel really needs to have a little binder or booklet in each room with hotel information like wi-fi password and how to get in touch with hotel staff (I... I arrived on a Thursday afternoon and was quickly checked in and let to my room which was clean, cozy and light. The bathroom was a bit on the small size. The staff was very helpful when I asked for my way around. It was an 8 minutes walk to the downtown, so it is close by and far enough... More

Met a friend for a coffee, (which was fantastic by the way) but accidentally left my mobile on the table. I managed to double back about a half hour later to find that Pamela (I Think), one of the bar staff had locked it away safely. Thank you :-) I've always liked the atmosphere of the Cathedral Bar and the... More

Terrible evening meal for Two. My partner and I booked in here for an early evening meal on Sunday 26th April and were extremely disappointed. Upon arrival we decided to have pre drink down stairs in the pub which was nice and cosy despite being under-staffed and tables requiring cleaning. When we went up to the restaurant for our meal... My wife and myself stayed here from the 27th March to the 29th March in room number 4. We arrived late and was given a very warm welcome from the night staff, check in was quick and easy and was shown to our room. The staff even asked if we required a help with our bags. The room it's self... More

Had a lovely lunch today in Cathedral House which I had a voucher for. Paula was very attentive and couldn't have been more friendly and attentive. Food was well presented and well cooked. Could not fault the food or service.
