We had a fabulous night here at a Christmas dinner and dance with live band. Most of our group stayed overnight. The food was delicious, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable and above all, the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We would choose this small hotel over the bigger 4 and 5 star hotels every time... more

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the Uplawmoor Hotel on 25th September 2009 for an overnight stay on a room only basis. On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by the Duty Manager who was extremely helpful, showed us around the hotel and to our room. He also asked if we had any bags that we needed carried to... more

It was our second viist to The Uplawmoor only this time we had our 1 year old daughter with us. Our stay was every bit as good as it was last year on our Honeymoon. The accomodation was first rate, the room was huge and so comfortable. We ate in the "bar" and had a fab meal. So much food... more

We travelled to Scotland for The British Open at Turnberry and stumbled upon the hotel by accident as all in Ayrshire were fully booked. It is situated south of Glasgow, around 20 minutes to the airport, and north of Ayrshire in a quiet village. Travel was around one hour to Turnberry/Ayr. The hotel has won awards for customer service and... more

If you are looking for 5* luxury, then the Uplawmoor Hotel is not for you. However, if you are looking for a friendly family run establishment who actually do put client service and satisfaction first, it certainly is! My husband and I spent a relaxing 3 night trip here and had a great time. Hats off to both Emma and... more

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at the Uplawmoor hotel recently. We stayed in the accommodation at the side of the hotel, which was ideal for us as a family. Lots of space and a kitchen that we could use to prepare meals for the little one. However we did eat in the hotel on two occassions and found... more

We had a very relaxing couple of days in the Uplawmoor Hotel. A warm, friendly welcome from Emma set the scene for the rest of our break - all the staff were very helpful and attentive. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived (our fault for arriving early) but that worked to our advantage because we had a lovely lunch... more

We used this as a base to go walking, cycling. In a quiet village, this is a Green hotel within easy reach of the Clyde coast. AND Glasgow. Room reasonable size with very comfortable beds. An extra chair was no sooner asked for than the manager himself brought one. Ensuite smallish but v.g. facilities with great shower & spotless. Lovely... more
