Recently got an excellent deal here £58 DBB for 2 for the night. The reception area and bar were quite nice looking however it went downhill on leaving the reception area. The stairs and corridors were badly needing decorated. Although the room was clean it is very tired and dated, the furniture was like something from the antique roadshow, the... More

The hotel was well situated for access to subway and bus routes and only a half hour walk from the city centre. The room was clean and well serviced BUT it really is time to take it into the 21st century. The television was a 1980's model, the shower and bathroom in need of modernisation and the wi-fi was simply... More

Just back from the first Commonwealth Games weekend. Proximity to the Ibrox was excellent. Choice of stations a short walk away to get across the city or the buses run along Paisley Road to go into Glasgow centre. The hotel is tired but clean enough. The statement 'people make Glasgow' was very true. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Breakfast... More

Good location as it is on a busy bus network so it was easy to travel into the city. (Being pensioners with bus passes we took advantage of this) Also within walking distance if weather is good as you can walk along the Clyde pathway. Large car park. Friendly staff. My only criticism - the fried eggs were hard.

I stayed there for a Friday and Saturday night while attending a conference. The hotel us a little tired as others have mentioned, but very clean and service is friendly and efficient. The bedrooms are a good size - though they could benefit from upgrading their televisions, mine was out of the ark! You can definitely swing a cat in... More

Had my daughters wedding reception here and although the hotel could do with redecoration thats the owners responsibility and not the staffs. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. the staff couldnt have been more helpful in every way especially Nikki and Paul. All my party were happy with the accommodation and also the wedding meal service, although... More

I stayed here one night on business and although I asked for a quiet room, it was beside a motorway. I dont think this hotel has a quiet side. Even though I got a room beside a busy road, I did sleep and I think it was due to the comfortable single bed I had. The room was basic but... More

Booked due to price..... Should have paid the extra for a more comfortable sleep. The room was so hot we couldn't sleep. To be fair it's Glasgow so air con is not found in many places. We called reception to be told there was nothing we could do and as a minimum I would have expected money of the bill... More

I have read the reviews but to be honest if you book this for £35 how,can you expect the Hilton its, absolutely fine for the price almost as good as a travel lodge or Inn but half the price. I would, come, back again and I have stayed in best hotels in the world, and, the worst and this is good for hardly, any money
