The standard rooms were very simple, too simple for a 4 stars. However they were cleaned. The main problem was the mattress. It consisted of a low layer of spongy material with no firm support at all. (no coils or other supporting features). Terrible. Breakfast - OK Staff - fine Position -excellent All in all I will not recommend this... More

Really enjoyed my stay at the Novatel. Staff in reception were extremely friendly and helpful. Room clean and a good size. Floor three appeared to have been refurbished and not sure if all levels had been from the feedback from our party. The communual PCs in reception were very handy. Overall no complaints and would return if in Glascow. More

We stayed here for a night before heading to London on our trip. As an AClub member, I would say this isn't the best Novotel I've stayed in. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful but we were a little disappointed with the condition of the bed in the room. It was creaky and one of the double mattresses... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review based on your recent stay with us. I was however, horrified to see the picture of your mattress with a coffee stain on it - naturally, we have since identified this bed & ensured that the stain has been removed. Please accept my sincere apologies for the lapse in cleanliness... More

After doing a brief tour of Scotland up the east coast and back down the west it was lovely to stay a modern and contemporary hotel...we actually stayed in March for my wifes birthday and were made up when we got there - from the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel like the most imprtant... We stay here often when up visiting family. Its a great wee home from home. Rooms are clean, modern and well equipped. Bed is comfy and its always nice and quiet. I like the location - off the main drag but close enough to walk everywhere, and you feel safe being next door to the police station. My only criticism... More

I stayed here for 1 night on Friday with 3 friends, we had 2 King rooms on a special deal which was £80 per room including 3 course dinner, full breakfast and a bottle of prosecco in our rooms on arrival. Generally I would say the hotel was very nice, our rooms were clean and modern. The only negative would... More

Bare bones hotel, clean but the rooms feel like Ikea decorated them. No wireless in the room supplied by the hotel, you had to contract with someone else, they do have Mac's in the lobby. Parking difficult and they charge for each in and out, no daily rate so we parked the car and walked (our preference anyway). No luggage... More

Booked bed, breakfast and evening meal at a very competitive price. Nice welcome with room everything you would hope for in a modern hotel. Spacious, clean and all mod-cons. Sadly dinner was a different experience altogether. Cold, bland, overcooked food, with very questionable service. ( I was asked to move, while I had food on the table, because the staff... More

Friendly efficient check in. Rooms clean and adequate but metal bed frames made for poor sleep quality. Basic fast food, not cheap at £110 per night. Just a short walk to many restaurants on Sauchihall(?) Street. Wanted to charge for wi-fi which annoys me - this should be free in this day and age - guess many people use personal... More

We stayed here for one Saturday night in May 2012. We paid £90 for a triple room including breakfast. While the room was a little cramped for three people (1 double bed and 2 sofa beds) we couldn't fault the value of the deal we got. Breakfast was included in the price and the buffet was very good.
