Modern, well located hotel close to Sauchihall Street. You do not have to go far for good bars and restaurants...try the Moskito in Bath Street - nice atmosphere. The rooms were clean and airy, not too much noise from passing trafic and breakfast was excellent...staff very attentive and keen to please. Second time we have stopped here.... I've stayed at the Novotel, Pitt Street, Glasgow and always found it a very good bet in a city where hotels can be expensive or substandard. It is in a very good location near shops, restaurants, bars and public transport, and has a small gymn with a nice view on the city, a plus for a budget hotel. Staff are... more

Located on an unscenic but quiet and convenient corner, close to West City Centre's shops, bars and restaurants. Easy walk to railway stations, Merchant City and the Clyde; walkable (just about) to Kelvingrove and West End. The standard (only?) room option is Double+Sofabed. Tea and coffee provided. Widescreen TV (with some free channels and pay-per-view). Breakfast wasn't included (on our... more

Stayed in the Novotel for one night. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was clean as well but the shower/tub could have used some updating. Hotel location is quite good, a short 10 minute walk to Buchanan Street. There are also numerous bus stops in the area as well in case you did not want... more

Having visited Edinburgh I was eager to stay in Glasgow. We stayed in this Novotel for 3 nights. To keep it simple - we got a fantastic rate, with breakfast included. The room was a little small even for a Novotel although I think this was because we were at the end of the hallway and got the impression there... more

We stayed at the Novotel for 2 nights. I would definitely recommend this hotel for weekend breaks in Glasgow. You could not fault it for being a clean, conveniently located, reasonable priced hotel. more

I have stayed here twice this month, the first with a friend and second with my partner. The hotel is very well situated, the rooms are modern, very spacious and the showers are fantastic. I found all the staff to be very friendly, helpful and attentive. The breakfast was excellent much better than many 4 star hotels I have stayed... more
