Babbity Bowster's is a real pub/inn. It is the real thing. The rooms are just that, rooms. They are clean and comfortable. There are no TVs in the rooms because the show is downstairs in the pub. There is live music every Wednesday and Saturday. The beer and ale selection is terrific, and the staff is the absolute best. They... More

very friendly and helpful bar staff...nice atmosphere and some good live folk music from 3.30 on a Saturday afternoon. Prices were a bit steep.......there is a pretty good food menu but again, it's not cheap...worth a stop...

Fantastic place to visit for a warm traditional taste of Glasgow and Scotland. I can offer no review about accommodation at BB as I have never stayed, but would highly recommend a visit here if you will enjoy a warm welcome in a bar diner that offers more that just good traditional fayre. I visited recently with my friend, as... More

Seems to specialise in Scottish bar food, with live music if you are lucky Really tasty cullen skink, followed by OK haggis. Beer good from a wide selection even some brief numbers from a choral club. Very good value

Has been about 10 years since I have been in here and it hasn't changed as far as I can tell - which is a good thing - too many great traditional pubs in Glasgow have been given a face lift and have lost their character as a result. Sat outside in the beer garden as it was a nice... More

Great pub for a beer in the merchant city. I was there on Friday, no loud music just chat, good beer and a friendly crowd. Attentive staff, great service and a beer garden to boot. Get there early to get some space inside or a seat in the beer garden.

A short walk from public transportation, the Babbity Bowster is a great place! We arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon to a very crowded bar with a group of Scottish folk musicians in full swing. We were immediately greeted and shown to our room, where after dropping our baggage we returned to the bar for a much needed ale. The... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while in Glasgow and were in a prime location. This is in a very old area of the city and is in walking distance to most of the best attractions. We toured the city with some family that live in Glasgow and we were able to walk everywhere. The food is really good and... More

We only dined here on a friends's recommendation. The staff were extremely welcoming and the service was very good. Good choice of drinks available .The food however wasn't quite what we expected. This was a bit of a let down. A crowd of musicians arrived during the time we were there and whilst this could have been entertaining we felt... More
