6 of us shared a few wee drams and beers here;( this was an unplanned stop on my brother's 60th birthday celebration thru Scotland); had no idea it was an hotel until we returned to the states and look up TripAdvisor. Got the name from a pub lady in Edinburgh when we were watching the soccer match over beers and... More

I had my 50th birthday celebration at Babbity's recently. I had been looking for a suitable venue for a meal for 20 odd friends and having been here at Christmas I knew the food would be good. From the minute I started arranging things with the owner and staff I knew this night would be a success. I took over... More

This is a hidden gem in the centre of Glasgow. Free car parking and WiFi a bonus. Great hospitality with friendly easy going staff. Room clean and comfy. While basic with no TV and tea/coffee facilities the location and great value of the accommodation more than made up for this. The pub has a good atmosphere and does great food.... More

Something about Babbity Bowsters that draws me back everytime it's great it has outdoor seating which can be busy at times but its a always a nice relaxing atmosphere, would recommend it to anyone that wants to go to a nice pub in the city centre but its not full of young people falling about the place.

We only stayed for one night at Babbity Bowster but it was a very pleasant and friendly stay. The hotel is located in the centre of Glasgow and you can easily walk everywhere. In the morning we also had a small but sufficient breakfast without paying any extra fee. The hotel is situated in a calm street so that there... More

This is a great place to relax over a pint of real beer or a glass of wine in an attractive area of Glasgow. The highly professional, friendly and efficient staff make a major contribution to the overall experience in this vibrant establishment. The location of the pub is perfect for a stay in the city with its simple yet... More

My husband, son and I stayed here for one night and were made welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. I had visited the Babbity bowster several years ago and my memory of it as a really interesting and different place to stay was correct. Breakfast before a huge fire, similarly dinner the night before, splendid food, free parking (in the... More

I've been staying at Babbity's for years now. Fraser and the team treat me and my travelling companions like close family friends. The ale, the food and the general experience is always first-class. Upstairs the rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable too, and it's never hard to get over for a good night's kip. Whether it's in the depths... More

This is not the place to stay if you are intending to spend a lot of time in your room. But why on earth would you want to be in your room when you are in the middle of the best shopping/partying area in Glasgow? The room provided a very comfortable sleep. The staff lived up to Glasgow's reputation for... More
