It was a last minute city centre break i booked and i was so surprised about peoples reviews of the hotel when you enter the hotel you feel the history and character of the hotel and then your welcomed by a friendly receptionist the room was clean and tidy facing Buchanan Street. Went for dinner that evening and was greated... more
Terrible hotel, its so worn and old. Not pleasant at all to stay in, the place felt dirty and i was uncomfortable getting into the bed. Mine and my partners worst fears were confirmed with the discovery of a used pair of mens underpants in the wardrobe. Didnt want to sit through the breakfast as i had a feeling that... more
This hotel has a brilliant location. However this hotel is very very dated. No hot water. You could see the grease off peoples heads who had been lying against the headboards. Would not be in a rush to go back. more
This hotel is dirty and old needs knocking! down out of the ark bedroom just not right to stay in such a dirty room food could be a lot better staff all look fed up not friendly or bothered with you only good thing is the location . more

Without a doubt the worst hotel I have ever had the displeasure of enduring. This place is a real cesspit. There are bars on the windows, but prison is a bit more luxurious, has a better atmosphere, and the food is better. My girlfriend and I planned to meet in the hotel as I have been working on the outskirts... more
I was up in Glasgow for a conference - the hotel is in a perfect position, next to the main bus and train stations, one block away from all the shops. There is also a Sainsbury's Central opposite which is ideal for picking up drinks and snacks. Everything in the hotel was clean and worked. The breakfast was excellent I... more
The hotel was old, dirty, and unpleasant. The resteraunt could not seat us all, despite us having booked a table giving the number. The food was appauling, the same thing for each course only renamed! Did they think we would not notice? Steak and chips = how could they get thay so wrong. The breakfast the next day was slimey... more
