Yes,the beds/bedding are fab.....but that's about it,really. SMOKERS BEWARE......there are only 6 smoking rooms out of around 300 rooms. You must book a king size room,it will be on the first floor with lousy views and they are not as fresh as they were previously maintained. There's a dark, dingy area out at the front of the hotel where you can... more

We stayed here for three nights and I couldn't really fault anything about the hotel. We always stay in Marriots when we can as I think the beds are fabulous. We have stayed in about 12 around Britain and Ireland and while this one maybe isn't the plushist we've stayed in our room was spotless and comfortable. We were on the 6th floor... more

This is a good quality Marriott hotel, in the centre of the city, adjacent to the M8 and about 10 minutes drive from the airport. As usual with Marriotts the bed and bath rooms are of good quality. The Gym is of a good standard, better than in most hotels. Restaurant is large, food good and varied, although sometimes the... more

The Glasgow Marriot is one of the company's Category 5 hotels, which is the higher end of their middle range establishments and my experience was that it provided good value, with efficient and friendly staff. I have no criticisms, as I had a trouble free three night stay there, and having stayed in Marriott establishments previously, this was definitely my... more

Overall, not a bad place to stay if you are getting a great rate, with average amenities and service. However, having traveled Mariotts around the world for decades, I can say that this hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment and not up to Marriott "averages." The room gave me a flashback to the early 90's, as I swear that... more

This hotel is comfortable and discrete as you would expect of a hotel like this. No issues with the room, the breakfast or the service. However, while I was there, there was building work going on on the pavement outside. This meant that to walk into town you had to either a) walk in the road, which was a dual... more

I've stayed at this Hotel many times. The bed is comfy, wi-fi in room, hot pot, mini fridge to put snacks and drinks in, iron board and iron, blow dryer, There is a great gym attached with pool, sauna, workout classes that hotel guest may use for free. Out the hotel and take a left you'll find city center with... more

I love this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone. My husband and I had our wedding reception in the Mariott and we stayed the night afterwords. The bed was the best bit, I think I had the best sleep of my life. I will definatly be ordering a Mariott bed! more

We stayed at the Marriott Hotel as part of a 2 week trip to Scotland and London. We thought the hotel stay was just what we were looking for. It was close to the city center and there was a bus stop in front of the hotel. We did not eat at the hotel. more
