I'm from Glasgow and have stayed in this hotel quite a few times as a treat for me and my boyfriend. Absolutely love the marriott as they are very professional, very relaxed and very well presented (talking about staff and the hotel its self!) only downside is that I missed breakfast this morning as the beds were too comfortable :/

Stayed for four days and enjoyed the city and the hotel. It is your run of the mill Marriott properties. Executive lounge was very handy for water, breakfast, coffee and a free glass of wine! The staff were lovely and quite accommodating. The rooms are generic Marriott-doubles or king, adequate bathroom size with shower/tub combo, large closet and an added... More

I found the rooms and bed at this hotel to be very good. The walking to the main shopping area and train station was very easy. Area was safe, and the city tour double decker bus stop was across the street. Local pubs/eats were on the main drag, nothing on the Marriott block. It was a toss up as to... More

I stayed here in December 2013 for 2 nights with my son who was 9 and we had a really good time. All the staff were lovely and really helpful. The food was good although a little expensive but this was a special break for us and we booked the dinner b&b package. There was plenty of choice at breakfast... More

Stayed for the night on a business trip which coincided with the Ryder Cup suffice to say is was busy but not unpleasant. Check-in was without any drama, quick and friendly. My room on the second floor was quiet, well appointed and very comfortable especially the pillows which were some of the nicest I've slept on! No complaints either with... More

The staff here are fantastic - and helped out as much as they could possibly do with regard to organising out annual charity dinner ball. Our only fault was - that the supervisor that took over later closed the residents bar too early - as we were promise that this would stay open for as long as we liked! Most... More

We often stay at the Marriott when visiting Glasgow and it has always proved to be a good choice. It is in a good location with easy parking, even though you have to pay £8 for the privilege! It is a little bit old fashioned maybe for some people's tastes but it is very comfortable. The staff are very friendly... More

Stayed for 2 nights. Good location for walking into city centre. Staff all friendly and helpful. Room nice but a little on the small side compared to other hotels of this standard I've stayed in. Sat and sun breakfast buffet finishes at 12 which means you can relax and take your time. The spa was very disappointing. Dated, broken tiles,... More

Booked this hotel for an overnight stay as we had tickets for a show at Hydro. Cannot fault reception staff; friendly, welcoming and informative - excellent! All downhill thereafter - £8 to park our car...room kitted out for only one person - instead of two, room dated (1970s style) worst sleep in any hotel we've stayed in - the pillows... More
