5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I'm a recent convert to Marriott via their Rewards program. I joined a couple of years ago because I was going to be staying in a Marriott in Houston and it was such a great experience, it's now my regular place to stay when I'm there. We were in town for the Glasgow Film Festival and we usually stay at... More

We paid £143 for a one night stay this included parking and a Buffett breakfast. The parking was onsite and the breakfast was very tasty with a vast hot and cold selection. The room had a comfortable kingsize bed and a flat screen TV. Since checking in the staff have been very polite and always wanting to help. The rooms... More

Arrived early and was checked in straight away. All staff very friendly, accommodating and respectful. Breakfast excellent with plenty of choice. Beds very comfy and all expectations met. Would defiantly revisit and recommend.

We used to be regular visitors to the Marriott in Glasgow but due to work commitments hadn't been through for a few years. Were visiting friends so made the hotel our overnight stay and it was even better than we remembered. The beds are gloriously comfortable, the gym was fab, the staff are delightful and the breakfast as delicious. Couldn't... More

Stayed in this Marriott for 1 night in March on business. We arrived at the hotel after 2300 and check in was OK but could have been faster having travelled all day to get here. My room was on the top floor with executive amenities, although the only differences are bathroom products and the robe and slippers which I didn't... More

A ten minute walk from Glasgow Central station, this place is within walking distance of all central locations, although probably talking 20+ to get to Buchanan galleries etc. Check-in was quick, and room was clean, pleasant, although a little dated. Had a great night's sleep, bed was extremely comfy. Front desk staff are great and always acknowledge you passing through.... More

We stayed in The Marriot Hotel on the night of a concert at the Hydro. The staff were professional and helpful and the service good. On arrival we were a little concerned that our room was at the front of the Hotel. This was not a problem as the triple glazing cut out all the road noise. Breakfast was good... More

Average hotel, ok breakfast, slightly dated rooms.....so why the 4 stars out of 5? 1. A lad on the concierge desk called Cal who couldn't have been more helpful - constantly looking for ways that he could help out more. 2. And here's the real difference maker - instead of a standard "mint in the pillow" as befitting hotels all... More
