This is a nice hotel with the quality you would expect from Marriott. The rooms are well finished with a nice comfortable bed in a standard layout. The bathroom is adequate, although the shower could be better. It has on site outdoor self parking at an additional charge. There does not appear to be valet parking. The hotel is well... More

Stayed at the Marriott, near the Anderston rail stop for six days during a world congress at the SECC. Ten minutes walk to the conference center but only a stop away on the rail to the SECC or Glasgow central. Therefore very convenient for shopping, eating out if you wish to and walkabout. Hotel lobby had water to drink (complimentary) near the... More

The whole place definately has an 80's feel to it but it is clean and comfortable. A little overpriced. The staff were nice but one at reception desk who served my friend was not that helpful. The bathroom was nice but the shower was a bit rubbish. We were in an executive suite so we had the option of going... More

Stayed at the Marriott when attending the UNISON this summer. Stayed on the 10th floor, the room was a great size with a king size bed. Clean and presentable. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. On my first day on the way back in to the hotel I went up the ramp instead of the steps and tripped on... More

Spent one night here on our route up north. The room was comfortable and the breakfast very good. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and it was great to be able to park on site. While the views from the hotel are not great, the location both for visiting the city and for getting out of the city is very... More

A nice hotel and easy to walk into the town. Room was big and clean and we both got a great night's sleep but it could definitely do with a refurb, particularly the bathroom. The staff were nice and the breakfast was great. The bar was also good for a hotel. The gym and pool could also do with a... More

I usually stay at the Hilton when visiting Glasgow, but this weekend I could not get the type of room I wanted and prices were fairly expensive. Decided to try the Marriott, just a few steps away from the Hilton. Check in is normally 14:00, but I arrived in Glasgow at 11:30 and an early check-in was not a problem.... More

This was the first time at this marriot, and have to say we were extremely pleased with the services offered by the hotel. Easy parking, smart lobby, good bar, great restaurant and reasonable prices make this a great location to explore. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. Give Charcoals Indian a try if you can,... More

One would expect if you are staying in a top class expensive hotel that they would throw in complementary Wifi in your room - but apparently not for we had to troop down to the really noisy and busy lobby to connect. So here I am sitting here in the lobby writing this review - not at all happy.

Thank you Mary M for your post, it is such a shame we have not met your expectations during your recent stay with us. Our internet has been aligned with all hotels within the city, offering free connection in the lobby and free in bedrooms when you have booked directly with Marriott and hold a Marriott Rewards card.
