I am regular guest at this hotel both on business and social. The location is the main reason I only give it 4 stars it is not the most salubrious road from centre of city to hotel albeit it is only 10 mins walk from Central Station.however the staff are excellent and that applies to bar area and restaurant as... Fantastic hotel and nicely located by junction 19 of the M8. Short walk to the centre. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely clean room on the tenth floor overlooking the motorway but no disturbance with any traffic noise. Fantastic hot breakfast in plentiful supply with everything you could imagine from cereals to full cooked. Bar good with a great selection... More

Stayed here recently, good location, comfy beds, nice warm swimming pool, decent enough to go with the family. Could do with a wee bit of TLC as just starting to go at the edges, however if and when it gets it's refurb, it will be a really good place.

Stayed here as we were attending concerts @ the Hydro Arena as it's within walking distance (15 min walk). Easy check in/check out system. Rooms nice and clean etc, downside no mini bar in room ,but there is ice machines located on every floor. The bathroom doesn't have a walk in shower cubical , so if you have problems stepping... We have stayed at this hotel a few times due to working in the area. We came for 2 nights on 11th & 12th April. We are gold elite members and no room upgrade was available as the morning staff hadn't looked into it. It would be a good idea if the executive lounge was for adults only after a... More

Stayed at the Glasgow Marriott for one night after staying with family in northern Scotland on the way back down south. Chose this hotel for its leisure facilities only to find they were out of use on the day we were there. The pool was accessible but the sauna and steam room were not. This put a bit of a... More

My family stayed here when going to see Dancing on Ice at the Hydro Arena on the 11th April for two nights. Very friendly check in, despite hotel being very busy at the time. Booked an executive double/double room, which was clean, tidy just wished they were a little bigger as youngest child (1yrs) got a little cabin fever. Probably... More

We had a Submarine reunion in the Marriott the weekend of 11th and 12th April. The rooms were OK but you had to pay for WiFi. The weekend prices were extortionate and the WiFi should have been included, you also had to pay for parking. The food on the Saturday was edible but for the cost, was not good. The... More

Thank you for your feedback. Here at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel we have always implemented a charge for WiFi and parking to all our guests and delegates. Being a City Centre location, we are very competitive in the market. We do however offer free WiFi in the lobby area. I have also passed on your feedback to our Executive Chef... More

This hotel is very nice, but there are a few glaring issues that are withholding it from a strong 4 rating. First of all, the housekeeping staff needs to be more cognizant of people who are trying to sleep (especially near the housekeeping supply rooms)! The constant ins and outs are accompanied by their supply room door SLAMMING! This is... More

Thank you for your feedback. I would like to apologise for the noise in the corridor caused by housekeeping. I have passed this on to our Executive Housekeeper along with your feedback on the shower curtains. It is positive to read the hotel is taken care of and the lobby entrance is inviting and spacious. Once again, thank you for... More

We stayed at this hotel when going to see Dancing on Ice at the Hydro. On the first night we had a bar meal, after getting our drinks we were eventually asked what we wanted then after eternity we received our food. When we had finished we sat waiting for our plates to be cleared, many members of staff passed... More
