This was a big choice for me. My wife and I have had a tough year, we wanted a 2 night break with no kids and some husband and wife time. I didnt want an impersonal Travel Lodge and we couldnt afford a 5 star so the Marriott looked like a good choice. All of our pre check in requests... more

We stayed this time for 4 nights with our son, his wife and 3 year old twins in adjoining double/double rooms. Marriott is the only hotel in Glasgow who has this size of room. Very comfortable, although I must say the rooms are starting to show signs of wear and tear. The AC wasn't working while we were there, but... more

Having stayed in the hotel several times I thought it was time I wrote a review and to be honest I find it hard to fault the Marriott. Having children I have always found it very child friendly and the staff have never made you feel that your kids are not wellcome. The family rooms are a good size and... more

We stayed here for one night only. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is further out of the centre of town than described. It was towards the top end of Argyle Street. For the price the hotel was excellent value for money. When we requested a second gown and slippers they were provided immediately. The room was... more

The hotel was very clean and in a good location - however I felt that the staff and the service was very poor especially on the reception desk. The rooms were to a very nice standard - and clean. more

Stayed here mid-Sept shared a 'double double' (i.e. two double beds) with a girl friend as we were just away for a shopping/ chill out mini-break. Friendly welcome on arrival by both concierge and reception staff - held our luggage as we arrived early (prior to check-in time so room wasnt ready), but checked us in anyway. Upon our return... more

After seeing the reviews on this website we didnt know what to expect. The pool was warm and clean and the room was aquipped with 2 double beds so the children got a proper bed.The staff were friendly and very polite and helpful. The breakfast was something else with a wide selection ranging from croissants to a full cooked beakfast. So... more

This was the last hotel on our escorted bus tour of the Highlands. After staying at a number of old, small hotels (not many choices in the small villages of the Highlands when there are 41 people to house), the large room, large & modern bathroom and amenities were a welcome relief. We could totally relax in this room. The... more

Yes,the beds/bedding are fab.....but that's about it,really. SMOKERS BEWARE......there are only 6 smoking rooms out of around 300 rooms. You must book a king size room,it will be on the first floor with lousy views and they are not as fresh as they were previously maintained. There's a dark, dingy area out at the front of the hotel where you can... more
