At £148 for a 2 night stay B&B for 2 people, the Marriott was excellent value. Budget hotels in the city centre are usually about £60 per night and you still have parking (usually about £15 per day compared to £3 in the Marriott) and breakfast to buy, so £74 per night in a 4* hotel is excellent.
