Real nice hotel in Glasgow. Took the train in from Edinburgh and was not quite sure of the location so took a taxi from the Queen Street Station. Next time I would probably just walk as I think it would be only about 15 minutes from the station. Upon entering the hotel the lobby was very welcoming and the lady... More

Just stayed at the Glasgow Marriott and I must say that I was impressed with the hotel. I found the lobby to be very welcoming and the staff most friendly. I thought the flowers in the planters were beautiful.....very tropical for Scotland:) The room was clean and the bed very comfy. The ac/heat worked great and we didn't hear a... More

Spent Fri/Sat night in the Marriot with family including a 12 and 9 year old. Friendly staff and large well kitted out room, 2 king sized beds, large flat screen etc, all clean and in good condition. Only ate in hotel at breakfast which was excellent, great choice of everything with fried fare all high quality. Did pity the poor... More

I stayed there for 4 nights. It was okay place with good spread of breakfast and food options in the restaurant. Room service was also good and the complementary gymnasium facility was amazing. The rooms are quite spacious but the old settings at times make them feel impersonal. I found Hilton which was just 5 minutes away to be a... More

Good hotel even though it is big and could feel impersonal it was perfectly friendly with good staff. Only slight gripe was the hum of air conditioning (not in our room) and not being able to open a window. Be careful not to get fined for using the car park - pay for parking at the hotel reception on arrival. More

Up in Glasgow for the weekend, we got a great deal from Marriott and were delighted. The hotel is not located in the best place, down near the river and access bridges for the M8 motorway but you didn't hear traffic with the windows shut and we completely forget the surroundings when inside. All the staff were chatty, helpful and... More

Excellent location and great facilities at this Marriot. We stay at this hotel if staying over in Glasgow and it always meets our needs wonderfully. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable with a great bed and a good sized bathrooms. The restaurant and bars are of a good standard although drinks at the bar are a little expensive, service... More

A business trip funded by employer. Welcome reception, swift check in by polite reception staff and a lovely clean and comfortable room all made my night away from home much more acceptable. Food in the hotel was excellent and plentiful. The hotel hosted a full days meeting the next day for over 40 delegates and coped well with providing for... More

Clean room, clean bed, clean bathroom. What more could you want? Well, we had more! We arrived in Glasgow around noon and we were able to immediately check in. That night at the meeting we had to go to we received flowers, a huge set of them. The next day we were leaving for Inverness and had no idea how... More

me, mu husband and two children (12,14) spent 2 nights in this hotel between Xmas and New year - mainly for shopping in the sales. We used the Tesco points to stay in this hotel, that was an excellent value - both nights with breakfasts for all of us used just £70 worth of points. The hotel is positioned 10... More
