We stayed in Abode when it was the Art House, so admittedly this is some time ago. The room we had then was palatial so we (wrongly) assumed that every room was like this. Looking for a place to stay for our anniversay, we immediately chose Abode. This time our room overlooked Bath Street and was tiny! So after we... More

The hotel is in a very central location, however it is very expensive and the room we were in was very small. If you plan to stay more than 1 night I think it would be very cramped especially if you have large suitcases. There was no hairdryer in the room, but that was sorted out quickly. The bathroom was... My girlfriend and I stayed here at the beginning of June - I booked the hotel online whilst checking out of a disastrous apartment block across town. I adore Glasgow and wanted this to be a positive sight-seeing trip for my girlfriend who had never visited the city before. From the moment we set foot in ABode, we were made... More

Stayed here on June 2nd. Great experience from even before check in. The receptionist who answered my phone call was very polite and professional and managed to answer my queries and book my room in under 5 minutes despite her being relatively new. We had a late check in and on arrival felt very welcome. We took the gorgeous old... More

My husband and I enjoyed this hotel. I thought the decor in the lobby and throughout the hotel was beautiful. The rooms were clean and the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to get up in the morning. The location of the hotel was perfect for us because we had a train to catch the next morning and the... What a beautiful hotel - loved the tiled reception, the old lift, the open central corridors leading off to the rooms and the decor. The first room was very fresh and comfortable. The second (which the hotel kindly helped to relocate us to, due to noisy neighbours) was lovely. It was a little bigger with traditional wooden windows and stained... More

Was very central and ideal for the wedding that we went to. Rooms were quite small but clean and tidy. Very good value for money, would recommend.

Never seen a hotel so badly in need of refurbishment. Reception area was dull and not clean. All carpets were full of stains especially those in the rooms. We were moved from our first room to what was supposedly a ‘refurbished room’.........still the same carpet but had been cleaned which still had a number of stains. Still had the old... More

Stayed here few weeks ago, got a brilliant rate from booking.com, its an okay 4 star hotel, nothing spectacular but decent. if you are looking for a decent, clean and very central hotel then this is great for Glasgow. Its also got a magnificent old lift in it ! I had a room facing out onto the road and was... More

Great central location for shopping.Room average, not the biggest but clean, could do with bit of a refurb but still adequate for my needs for 1 night. Can be quite noisy at night due to location but to be expected. All staff pleasant and helpful, breakfast was lovely and good deal with The Q carpark across road for residents!
