This is a fantastic hotel in the heart of the City , the Arthouse has the feel of luxury when you walk in and the copper / brass old lift is a spectacular feature ! Yes the rooms are ever so slightly tired but the stained glass windows and comfort of the room more than makes up for it !!... More

It was our first time in Glasgow and the wife booked this place on the internet Great location and made up we found this place, 10 mins walk, up hill from the train station. Great looking building, wait till you see the lift just behind the check in desk. Very old hardwood lift with a gate you need to pull... More

My husband and I stayed for our wedding anniversary in the 'Fabulous Suite' which at £264 for the one night was not cheap. To start with there was an overwhelming stench of fried food especially on our floor as we came down the stairs. We couldn't get the subtitles on the tv to turn off so I enquiried with the... More

Booked this hotel at the last minute so was pleasantly surprised we got a good deal for something so central. Staff are really friendly and helpful and the reception, bar and hallway area are all nicely designed with the old lift a centre piece of the building. Our room (106) was pretty basic but nice and clean. I like how... More

Staff well motivated and focused on the guests. Carpets, bedrooms and bathrooms all tired and in need of a good deep clean. Comfortable bed though with complete quiet to help restful sleep. Angus beef burger tasted suspiciously like hamburger but was removed from bill. Good concept of carafes of wine (go with the rose though as the white not brilliant).

I have stayed here several times now and cannot fault the service, location or standard of accommodation. The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you... Excellent customer service. Rooms are spacious however can be slightly noisy on the bath street side at night however it is the city centre after all and also one room I stayed in... More

There is a bit of the ministry of magic about the décor in the stair well (Harry Potter fans will understand when the visit), although the basic room was probably plainer than I expected (a slightly quirky holiday inn express). The room had good air conditioning and bed was very comfy and room well kept. The location is brilliant for... More
