Situated on Bath Street in the City Centre the Hotel had convenient but very expensive , despite discount rate, parking opposite. The Hotel is very convenient for the main shopping areas and theatres with plenty of restaurants nearby. Sadly the hotel menu was disappointing being very basic, burgers or fish and chip style fare. The room was comfortable and well equipped... More

I stayed here - last minute - for the first time in about 5 years, but have stayed many, many times before. It was always, to my mind, one of the best value 'boutique' or at least differently decent hotels in Glasgow - fantastic staff, excellent food, all the rooms lovely - though their 'Enviable' (or better) were indeed the... Got a deal for £119 B&B for 1 night at the weekend for twin room, delightfully surprised at how lovely our stay was. Hotel is a little quirky, room was spacious for a twin, bathroom and room immaculate, staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way. Breakfast was good; not a fan of the black pudding, but everything... More

I stayed here for one night on business and paid £275 for the night as Glasgow had a convention on and most hotels were booked up. Whilst I appreciate hotels upping their prices at times when rooms are in high demand, I still expected better. The hotel is centrally located and has a nice bar - even though it was... More

Stayed here for my wife’s birthday as a treat and on arrival you are taken away by the old cage lift and marble staircase just beautiful. The website is very misleading when it comes to the bed rooms, we were in a suite or what this hotel chain calls a suite dark room with ripped curtains, old couch and in... More

Friday 12th September, we booked ourselves a Junior Suite at £365 expecting a bit of a treat, however we were sorely disappointed. We were shown to a room with a rucked carpet that had the ambiance of a sanatorium; it felt sad, empty, stark and hollow. There were no luxurious touches and the bathroom looked very dated. The manager on... More

Good central location. Friendly staff, not expensive. We Stayed in room 201. Safe was broken, reported but not actioned by hotel. Room was lovely and quiet but very hot, needed air con all night. The heat did make sleeping difficult.

As with many City centre hotels, guests lower their expectations as a trade off for location. This hotel has a great location but no parking - use multi story close by. The staff are helpful and attentive and as others have commented, the lift with its cage doors that you pull open/ closed yourself is a step back in time. Occupying a... More

Used Hotel for an overnight stay for a leisure break for shopping. Quirky inside main area. Get better deal with Hotel but we used Booking.Com. Basic but very friendly staff. Rooms really need upgraded. Central location. Very noisy with traffic at front rooms during night.

Booked a night here on last minute. Very happy with welcome, central location and loved the Iron elevator. Straight out of a spy movie.... They need to hang on to that lift. It gives the place character. The room was massive with a huge window and comfortable sofa and armchair. DVD player too. Breakfast was good. I only want to... More
