Having stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Glasgow twice recently, I can thoroughly recommend the warmth of the friendly, efficient welcome and the sound, comfortable sleep in the hotel's luxurious beds. The scope of the breakfast made an excellent start to the following day and the views up and down the Clyde were superb. Alasdair Hutton

We were pleased to be upgraded to an Executive Room on our second stay at this hotel, although underwhelmed by the Club Lounge facility, which is rather small and furnished predominantly with tables & chairs rather than lounge style furniture. It was not a comfortable area in which to have a beverage and relax. There were a couple of housekeeping... More

A score of 2 might seem low for a hotel described as almost perfect. However despite only finding issue with one thing during our stay it was such a fundamental thing that I couldn't score it any higher. The problem came to light whilst trying to sleep. The room was insufferably hot. Not a problem we thought, just turn on... More

Stayed here overnight after going to see Dancing On Ice at The Hydro. The reception area, bar and restaurant are all very spacious, with lovely decor and furnishings. We had a meal in the upstairs mezzanine bar, which was less noisier than the main bar and restaurant. The food was very good, and the service excellent, even though it was... More

Finally, this lovely hotel has been improved - decoratively that is. I was (as always) upgraded to the Club floor with access to the club lounge with gorgeous canapes and drinks served every evening from 6.00pm. While I always enjoy staying at this hotel I have always been somewhat disappointed at the decor - but not anymore! The top two... More

We stayed here for one night as we were going to the Elbow concert at the SSE Hydro. Our room was on the 10th floor with fabulous views of the Clyde Auditorium, the Hydro and the river. The room was lovely. Complementary bathrobes, chocolates and toiletries were really nice. We had a meal in the bar which was lovely. Top... More

A pleasant stay at the crowns plaza, stayed in a club room with fantastic view of the city and access to club lounge included. This gets you free soft drinks and nibbles with alcohol (beer, red, white and rose wine) served between 5.30 and 7.30. Room was on the small side but comfortable. They have good value dinner options and a... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel on 6th April as we had tickets to attend the Elbow concert in the Hydro which is just next door. The hotel itself was really nice and comfortable. Our room was lovely, with some nice extras like a sleep kit comprising of essential oil mix to induce sleep. Bath robes and slippers... More
