We go to Glasgow three times a year and for a changed we booked to stay in the mercure hotel. For two rooms it cost £260 which was an absolute rip off for what you get. The price should be no more than £50 for a standard room. Rooms tiny you couldn't even move in them . When using the... More

centrally located, easy walk to bars, restaurants, attractions. Room ok, however stuffy due to no aircon - the window opened slightly, however our room overlooked a lane, which was very noisy at night with people leaving bars and the casino next door. Ok bar area, and staff were helpful

Room was very small, bed was okay. Could do with a serious makeover in the bathroom. There is no air-con in the rooms and as some face out towards a dark back alley, the heat is unbearable at night and only being able to open the window an inch is pointless. All night we, and another couple of friends we... More

My room in this hotel is one of the worst I have stayed in in the UK. I note that others have also complained about how dirty this hotel is and I would concur. My room was generally pretty grubby. Desperately in need of a refurb. The walls were scuffed and dirty, the (double) room was incredibly small – you... More

This Hotel is in a great location just off George square. Rooms were clean, small and simple but worth the price. Staff really helpful and breakfast was ok. Easy to find from queen street station it's just a short walk. All in all would stay again.
