Lovely hotel downstairs, as soon as we stepped into the upstairs corridor, decor was old tatty and unwelcoming. Room much the same scruffy condition with dents in the walls and a fag butt in the window. A lot of noise from a nieghbouring club/pub? Until the wee hours of the morning. However, it was all that we needed, bed was... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed in this hotel for a night during our weekend in Glasgow and it was lovely. In a great location and the staff were extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and great value. I would recommend this hotel for a weekend break in Glasgow.

The team (reception & restaurant) is the asset of Mercure. Most professional and Top notch in UK. Best breakfast around the region. The parking rate has gone up to £7 on new year day. Still, we've been charged the old rate stated in the confirmation. The room is compact. Very small. No space to spread open luggage. No proper wardrobe.... More

This hotel is very centrally located just a few minutes away from the station and the shopping, but isn't perfect. My room looked a little tired, curtain wasn't hanging properly, the radiator was noisy, the TV wasn't tuned properly, there was only a single teabag, but above all it was very cold. Despite the fact that the radiator was on... More

This was my fourth or fifth stay at this hotel but my first winter visit. The rooms are clean and well appointed but upon my arrival at about 6-30pm the room was freezing. The heating had been turned off. The temperature outside was about 3degrees and heavy rain. In these circumstances I look forward to a warm bedroom, it took... More

Stayed here before christmas and the location is ideal, very close to shops, bars and restaurants. Rooms were small in size, although bed was comfy and bathroom sufficient. Downstairs bar and restaurant, only used bar and prices reasonable. I would stay here again due to location.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and have never came out of it disappointed. It is in the heart of the city which is great for going shopping, also is close to clubs and bars for the nightlife. Only one issue but its something that isint that bad is at weekends it can be rather loud outside... More
