A small and friendly hotel just off the trendy Byers Road at the west end of Glasgow. Comfortable and spacey rooms, staff that are amiable and chatty and a lovely breakfast. If you are infirm I would avoid it or ask for a ground floor room as there is no lift. Free on street parking. We didn't use the car... More

I was in Glasgow a few weeks ago, for a short course relevant to my job and stayed here for four nights bed and breakfast, from 20th to the 24th of July. The room was an en suite superior single and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and there were various items on the menu, catering for most tastes.... More

Best location in Glasgow as right on Great Western Road near to trendy Byres Rd. My room was facing the main road but this was not a problem as I didn't hear the traffic. My room (room 11) was beautifully decorated and huge with a huge bed, large flat-screen TV, couch and desk. The bathroom had the biggest bath I've... More

My mother and I stayed here for five nights on a weeklong trip to Scotland and were pleased with all that we received. Breakfast was delicious; the rooms were simple but nice; the dining room was quite beautiful with its intricate gold leaf designs on the ceiling, always playing Ella Fitzgerald in the morning (which we quite enjoyed). We were... More

First of all, I must say that apologies were forthcoming (however only after much hostile telephone conversation). And we received vague compensation: ask for a free drink at the bar when you want (really?!) Like most people choosing this hotel, it was the slightly cheaper alternative to the Hilton a couple of doors down. Breakfast was excellent, and the location... More

Stayed here while attending a wedding in Glasgow's West End, this is a nice little hotel with wonderful staff, very helpful and pleasant, even carrying our bags up the stairs. The public areas of the hotel are well maintained and very clean as is the dining/breakfast room. Our room and bathroom where a bit worn and could do with a... More

I went to this hotel for the Commonwealth Games. It provided a room, shower, breakfast in the morning, and a bar at night. Nothing more nothing less. If you need a room within the Glasgow area and do not want to pay Centre City prices, then stay here. Not extremely close to the City Centre but not too far away.... More

Stayed here when working in Glasgow, not to bad at all. Stayed on the lower ground floor. Good size room nice inside, breakfast in the morning was very good, option of continental and fully cooked. Only thing I will say as down points the room did not have tea making facilities and was an extra £3.50 charge when I got... More
