We had a very nice stay at the Belhaven, in 2 different rooms as we went up north for a couple nights in between. GREAT value for money. Clean, nicely appointed, comfortable bed, cool building. No elevator but they carried our heavy bags so we were fine with it. Breakfast was prompt and good and the fire in the fireplace... More

As a traveller across Australia and South-East Asia, I always enjoy returning to Scotland, to sample again boutique hotels such as the Belhaven. World Class in attending to detail - whether decor or customer comfort - these small establishments celebrate Scottish hospitality at its best. Try the Belhaven - you will not be disappointed with its homely warmth.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night in a single room. The location of this hotel is great for the west end of Glasgow and very reasonably priced. The guy who checked me in was friendly and gave me the specifics of breakfast etc. My room was in the basement and the stairs leading down to the room were... More

A well-sited hotel, convenient to the University of Glasgow and numerous coffee shops, bars, and restaurants on Byres Road. I stayed in a single room, which in my experience never gives you a wow factor. But it was good value. I would describe the common rooms as characterful rather than chic, or even shabby chic. (I think the carpet needs... More

The Belhaven is clean, comfortable and very good value, with friendly staff. Breakfast is cooked to order, not kept hot and curling at the edges on a buffet. Its situation just off the Great West Road is ideal for the bars and restaurants of the West End and for many of the University departments.

Excellent location. Room was huge and clean, bathroom whilst clean was in need of some cosmetic diy attention. Free parking, although quite hard to get into the terrace and spaces were hard to find.

The Belhaven hotel in Glasgow is a lovely, family run boutique hotel in the West End of Glasgow. The hotel is in a very old building that could well have been a family home a few decades ago. The rooms are small but kept well clean as is the bathroom. The bed was excellent and I slept like a log.... More
