We stayed here on Friday night for a girls night out. We booked both the Double Twin room and the Family room. Everything seemed newly renovated and the decor was beautiful. Huge room and high ceilings. Service from Kamar and also the evening receptionist was fantastic. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Such good value for money and great location... More

This a boutique hotel that was a good deal for the price. The staff was helpful. They served food later so after an exhausting day I could just order some room service. The parking was dicey with cars on either side and a very narrow lane to maneuver. I was fortunate to find parking on the street. The only thing... More

The exterior of the hotel had a handsome Victorian grandeur, which was misleading. I had a basement room with a tiny window. On the plus side: the bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. On the minus side: the TV had to be turned off at the set, then turned on by pressing a button for sometime... More

We frequently stay at the Belhaven while in Glasgow. The rooms are enormous since this is a converted Victorian terraced house. The bathroom is a bit quaint since it has been retro-fitted into the room but the shower is nice and powerful. Breakfast is reasonable but I don't think that evening meals are served. We have never needed one. The... More

My expectations were high for this hotel based on other reviews, but our room had a horrible smell that not even a wide open window could dispel! It was like a mix of B.O. and stale toilet stenches... We went to a movie after dinner just to avoid being in the room as much as possible. Bed and room were... More

My stay with this establishment has not yet ended so some may view this review as somewhat premature, though tomorrow and likely thereafter I doubt I will have the impetus, will, time nor inclination to engage in an exercise such as this so here it is. There did not appear to be any private parking so along the road for... More

Lovely building, and clean. The wifi was awful - it was faster to go on 3G, so it was really not suited for a business stay. The room didnt have a kettle! you had to spend £1.90 to have a cup of tea brought to your room, which is just mean. I asked about this, they said they "thought it... More

Dear Guest, This hotel is mean? Did we flaunt kettles at you with playground chants teasing you for your lack of hot beverage? If you don't like our business model then don't stay here. £1.90 for a pot of tea is a great price from a hotel's room service menu. If you wanted a tea and coffee tray you could... More

I was looking for a good value single room as I was returning to Glasgow for a University reunion. The Belhaven is perfectly located if you want to visit the west end-just a 5 minute walk to Byres Road. I booked a budget single room which was not ensuite but came with sole use of a bathroom. Room and bathroom... More

If you want to enjoy the hurly burly of the West End without taking it back to the hotel; this place is for you. It's a small hotel with a warm welcome. It's unlikely to have hen nights or stag parties ruining your stay. The room was comfortable and spotless: immaculately clean. Breakfast is cooked to order, rather than a... More

We stayed two nights and were shown to the attic room 4th floor. To access the attic room you go up the impressive stair until you reach the small narrow 180 degree bend stairs that if you are over six feet you bang you head on the ceiling. I did and nearly knocked myself out. BUT IT GETS WORSE. There... More

Dear Guest, I wish I had a chance to discuss this matter with you the following morning however you just left your key on the reception desk and left. I'm sure we could have come to an agreement and I would have offered you a proper apology. I'm sorry you banged your head and scraped your foot in our hotel.... More
