Recently attended one of the hotel's "murder mystery" evenings to celebrate my hen do. Were not disappointed! The staff could not possibly have been more friendly or attentive to myself and my guests. Every effort for us to enjoy our evening was made. Excellent customer service took away any stress of planning such an event. The entertainment was fantastic! In... More

Came to Glasgow to watch "The Killers" at Bellahouston park . Three ladies staying for two nights . We didn't want right in the city centre and this hotel ( a shyer taxi ride away ) suited our needs . On arrival check in was fine , no car park space , parked just round the corner and so not... Overall the hotel was fine. The room was smallish but adequate and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the service was fine. The only problems we encountered were that the location of the hotel wasn't great although at no time did we feel unsafe, the area was just a bit tatty. Parking had been advertised as free but... I stayed in room 308. Clean room with a fantastic 4 poster bed. TV and hair dryer. En-suite was a bath with shower over it. No safety deposit box in the room. Hotel was situated with easy access to town centre and public transport. Breakfast came with the booking - cereals, toast, cooked breakfast, including scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, black... More

This area of Glasgow is filled with great restaurants and little pubs. Kelvin grove park is very close and you can walk to the museum and glasgows main shopping precinct. The rooms are basic but a nice comfy bed, clean bathroom, excellent breakfast.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights earlier this month. We needed to be close to the Western Infirmary and Yorkhill and this place was perfect between both hospitals. It was a lovely quiet hotel and is in easy walking distance of plenty eating places. I would recommend this to anyone.

My parents and I stayed in the Argyll Hotel for 3 nights in April. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room was perfectly fine and I enjoyed the breakfast which was very traditional british. In the evening we tried a meal in the bar downstairs but there wasn't really a variety to chose from. All in all we... More

Spent two nights in this nice warm and friendly hotel. Liked a lot about it including its location. The rooms had been recently refurbed and where impressive. However very disappointed to hear that the restaurant was closed on the nights I was there. This put somewhat of a damper on my stay although restaurants nearby where plentiful. I would have... More

My sister and myself have stayed at the Argyll Hotel on average about every 3 years since first travelling from Australia in 2000 and have come to look upon it as a home away from home. It did not dissapoint this June when we stayed there. The staff are always friendly and a big thank you once again to Linda.... More
