This was our first visit (myself and my daughter who has special needs). Had read mixed reviews after making our booking and was a little worried...Good location for West End/uni and City Centre. We also had the dual aspect room (3 single beds) Comfy, quiet and spotlessly clean, thought it was absolutely brill, excellent value, staff friendly and obliging. Thought the Scottish... More

This was our second visit and was even better than last time. I shared a huge triple-bedded, double-aspect room with my daughter that was lovely and clean. High ceilings, big windows and plenty of space made for a light and comfortable room. We paid slightly extra for breakfast and that was thoroughly worth it as it was genuinely the best... More

A friendly, clean and comfortable hotel. We occupied room 106 which was clean and comfortable. Our purpose was to settle in and introduce our disabled granddaughter to the nearby University and her lodging in preparation for her study year at the nearby University. The room was very tasteful, the beds comfortable and the room pleasantly quiet. The bathroom was very... More

This has got to be THE best Hotel I have ever stayed at in Glasgow. The staff are so friendly, food is great and the décor and accommodation is excellent. Staff couldn't do enough for me - nothing was a bother at all. Would definitely stay here again. The Receptionist gave me a map and helped me find my way... More

Recently attended one of the hotel's "murder mystery" evenings to celebrate my hen do. Were not disappointed! The staff could not possibly have been more friendly or attentive to myself and my guests. Every effort for us to enjoy our evening was made. Excellent customer service took away any stress of planning such an event. The entertainment was fantastic! In... More

Came to Glasgow to watch "The Killers" at Bellahouston park . Three ladies staying for two nights . We didn't want right in the city centre and this hotel ( a shyer taxi ride away ) suited our needs . On arrival check in was fine , no car park space , parked just round the corner and so not... Overall the hotel was fine. The room was smallish but adequate and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the service was fine. The only problems we encountered were that the location of the hotel wasn't great although at no time did we feel unsafe, the area was just a bit tatty. Parking had been advertised as free but... I stayed in room 308. Clean room with a fantastic 4 poster bed. TV and hair dryer. En-suite was a bath with shower over it. No safety deposit box in the room. Hotel was situated with easy access to town centre and public transport. Breakfast came with the booking - cereals, toast, cooked breakfast, including scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, black... More

This area of Glasgow is filled with great restaurants and little pubs. Kelvin grove park is very close and you can walk to the museum and glasgows main shopping precinct. The rooms are basic but a nice comfy bed, clean bathroom, excellent breakfast.
