Only stayed there one night. Was basically somewhere to lay my head. Clean and very friendly reception staff. Girl on reception on Saturday 22nd Nov could not of been nicer. I booked a single room. Even for UK standards I did find if a tad small but it served the purpose. It sits on a very busy road and I... More

Very handy for the main concert venues, this hotel offers everything you could want for a flying visit. Our room was large and clean and the staff very helpful. Breakfast was just what you would need before heading back home.

The location of this hotel is excellent, theres everything you will need just on the doorstep. Folk complain about the parking? In Glasgow, if its free then don't complain, every time we have stayed here we have always been lucky to have got a parking space. The service by the staff is excellent and nothing is a problem, folk have... More

The Argyll hotel is a nice quaint hotel, about one mile from the city centre. It is on one of Glasgow's most famous street and one straight walk into a busy shopping area full of restaurants'. Parking was street parking outside the hotel and is metered and just a few pounds for the day. Hotel rooms were fine, plenty of... More

I stayed here again last Thursday and Friday as I was visiting family in Glasgow. I stayed in room 309 which was modern and spotless. The bathroom was so clean you could eat your food off the floor and the shower hot and powerful. The breakfast was fantastic as always and Linda was cheerful and couldn't do anymore for us.... More

This was a strange one. Great location - only a few minutes away from the city centre, but the first problem was finding that the 'free parking' advertised only consisted of a handful of places down a filthy muddy lane where there was no back entrance to the hotel and we had to walk with our luggage through the mess... Visited Glasgow for two nights for a friends birthday. We chose this hotel as was in a good spot for where we were eating etc both nights. Hotel was great. Good location right near to Kelvingrove Park and Gallery which I think is the best in Glasgow. Also ideally placed for the sightseeing bus tours. The room we had was... More

Staying here for a week. The hotel is in waking distance of the Kelvingrove park and art gallery + museum (definitely worth a visit!) and the university. Near the museum is the bus stop for the sightseeing tour with the hop on/hop off bus. Also definitely worth it! Great restaurants all in walking vicinity of the hotel. Go to Usha's... More

Myself and my wife stayed here for a night out at the Hydro and it was perfectly situated 15 minutes walk from the show. On our return we had a choice of several bars and restaurants in close vicinity to the hotel which were excellent. The room was clean and tidy, small maybe for a long stay but fine for... More
