Clean room and comfortable beds. Window faced the road; noise was not a problem. Can't comment on the breakfast because we had to leave for the airport before the 7:30 start time. Just a short walk down the road from Kelingrove Museum.

A clean and well positioned hotel with a whole range of restaurants around. We booked to visit the Kelvingrove Museum and it was ideal for this. Our room was a little small but had all the facilities that we wanted. The tartan decoration took some getting used to! Breakfast was good- we had the cooked breakfast both mornings. Scrambled egg... Overnight stay to break journey home after holiday in Islay. Staff were very friendly and helpful at check in (particularly with advice on parking) and breakfast was very good. Room was compact but clean, comfortable and well equipped. Easy access into city (we walked in) and overall excellent value for money for a quality city hotel.

This is a good little hotel. Staff are increndibly friendly. Rooms are very clean but mine was a bit cramped. The hotel is convenient for the university & Kelvingrove as well as the buzzing restaurant scene on Argyll Street. The Argyll has had some cosmetic updates & is a nice place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here in early June. The check in/out went smoothly. We stayed in the Lyndsay room. Like all hotels in Scotland, it was pretty small, but worked fine for us. It was very close to Kelingrove Museum. Next door was a nice pub, and there is a convenience store around the corner. There is an elevator... More

Great location and value with a friendly staff. Hotel has many themed rooms (we peeked in some of the others when they were being cleaned). If you like tartan, this hotel won't disappoint. A couple dozen nice eateries are in walking distance as well.

After reading some reviews of this hotel, I was a little unsure about the prospect if staying there. I need not have worried. Excellent hotel. We had a room on the back, comfy, with a lovely bathroom. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was excellent. It was possible to walk into the city centre in about 20 minutes. On a... More

Parking outside in loading bay if you want to take the risk. The rooms are situated across the road from reception, and down in the basement, but you do get a window for day light. Tiny room, awful condition, a dump some may say. Breakfast again is in the basement across the road in reception. Ok ish, girl behind the... More
