Drab from the outside. Sandwiched at the back of a petrol station between a busy road and a hospital, this isn't an attractive hotel. However it was modern, clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. Breakfast was ok but nothing to rave about. Nice fruit salad though. We stayed after the very hot weather but can imagine it would... More

From the outside this hotel looks drab. The lobby is bright and when we arrived, packed with people accessing the wifi which was disconcerting! There is no air conditioning and although a cool day, the lobby was very hot and stuffy. The staff were very good in all areas. We had a nice dinner and drinks in the bar. Breakfast... More

We were told we had a double bed but it was 2 singles and they would not offer an alternative. Food was very salty and meat smothered in gravy. My advice is to ensure you have the accommodation you want.

Stayed here recently during the commonwealth games period. I soon realised why there were no pictures of the outside of the building to be found anywhere. One very ugly very dated hotel from the outside in my opinion. Inside was a bit better but not much. A pretty good photographer was used for their online shots. The inside of the... More

I stayed here for about 2 weeks while working in Glasgow. The room was a good size, modern with a tv and kettle. The bathroom was also in good nick with shower and bath. A hair dryer is provided but there's no mini bar or small fridge. I stayed on the fourth floor overlooking the car park and was generally... More

Good - staff friendly and welcoming, clean and handy for city centre (easy acces on bus or train). Shame the outside looks univiting...step inside, the decor and style is very smart and atmosphere relaxing. Not so good - stuffy room, noisy air conditioning pipe outside under room window. The 'not so good' is overshadowed by the warmth of the staff... More

This is sixties/seventies built hotel and although the location is convenient it is in a bit of an industrial area with a hospital over the road. That said it was kept very well and had been updated. The service was good and the breakfast was very good. The rooms had all you needed but the bathroom was a little small.

Having been placed in this Hotel for work on the Commonwealth Games, I was initially impressed by the rooms and the staff. I have stayed in many hotels around the world for these types of events and this one was a pleasant surprise. Indeed I will begin this review by saying that the rooms are a good size, always clean... Recently stay in Glasgow for the commonwealth games and this was the second hotel I stayed in and by far the better of the two. The price was competitive and the rooms were gleaming, but more importantly the service I got was 5 star. There was a notice board that had all the commonwealth events with times, how to get... More

Due to the Commonwealth Games the cost of the hotel was very high, although it is probably cheaper at other times. The rooms were nice, perhaps for two people, but with three it was a very hot squeeze. Fans are available at the reception. Everything was clean and well kept around the hotel. The hotel food is nice and the... More
