Had a great 2 night stay here (almost). Nice hotel, clean room, great location, easy to find... ticking all the boxes. On both mornings however, housekeeping were unbeleivably loud, particulaly on the second morning. The rooms have very heavy fire doors so hard to say if it was staff or guests banging them. However, charging down the corridor at 9.30am... More

Stayed a couple of nights & wouldn't hesitate to return. High points : helpful friendly staff & the best shower in a long while. Low point - & an influence on future room choice - is the Fisher laundry van reversing at 5.30am BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP. Ggrrr H&S madness strikes again.

I have to say after reading a lot of reviews I hope you find this worth reading. I stayed at the hotel not for holiday purposes but because I was having treatment at the beatson cancer hospital. If you forget about the incidental things which hotels are for I.e functions, weddings etc. these happen wherever you go. Also noisy boiler... More

We arrived at 10.30 am and asked if we could park the car. The receptionist advised that there was a room available for check in. What a bonus. Room 205 was clean and functional. Unfortunately, the shower was set on far too high pressure and there was no apparent way of turning it down. The room had a good view... More

I stayed at the Pond when upin Glasgow recently. This is my hotel of choice when I have driven up to Glasgow as it offers easy access from the south and west and has a large free car park. I have used this hotel on many occasions as it offers excellent value and quick access to the West End and... More

We booked the hotel from a website. Arrived there late in the afternoon. Staff was vey friendly. Rooms are nice and kept well. Price is ok. Altough not exectly in the centre of Glasgow, you are only 8minutes away from the latter by bus.....and during rush hour!!!!!!!! Worth every cent.

Stayed here last night as visiting Glasgow to see Take That. On arrival could see that a wedding was taking place at the hotel that day. This contributed to a lot of notice which seemed to go on all night. They also had an anniversary meal taking place in a private room opposite our room which didn't help. The breakfast... More

The hotel is easy to find as it's situated at the end of the road with a BP petrol station nearby and what appeared to be a hospital behind it. I drove into the hotel carpark to come face to face with a metal barrier and I patiently waited (Albeit a second) and then realised the 'exit' to the car... More

The room was too hot, even with the window open, and it was a cold night. The noise from the birds on the pond was deafening at around 5am but we had no choice to keep the window open due the temperature. The pillows were not great either...didn't sleep well at all. We ate in the restaurant for our evening... More

stayed one night but could not sleep as the room was boiling hot all night long, tried to open the window and it was just a small opening. I was with a group of people and they all had the same complaint. the pond where the name comes from was dirty and filled with garbage/
