Stayed here for one night as we were attending a wedding in the West End of Glasgow. Friendly and professional greeting when we checked in which was swift. Our room was lovely. Bright, modern and very good condition. We upgraded to an executive package and we weren't disappointed. Bottle of wine on arrival, robes and slippers for both of us... More

We have just returned from a weekend stay at this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. My mother has mobility problems so she was allocated a suitable room with a wet room rather than bath and there was plenty of room. Both our rooms were clean, warm and very comfortable. The staff were excellent, helpful and friendly, nothing was too... More

Have stayed in the Pond possibly 15 times in the last 5/6 years and keep coming back. It has never let us down. great sized rooms, comfy beds, very clean, helpful and friendly staff. Free car parking/wifi. Its really ideal and especially for folk needing to get to the airport quickly or want to enjoy the west end with Glasgow University,... More

Last minute booking based on limited availability in Glasgow west & price. Outwardly looks like a nondescript sixties building & similarly so inside however it's clean & tidy, bedrooms are smart & comfortable, had a decent sleep, food in restuarant was absolutely fine (I've paid more for poorer quality elsewhere) & helpul staff with GSOH.

Have stayed at the Pond Hotel on at least five occasions and had an enjoyable stay every time . Stayed this time for three days on a special deal and it didn't disappoint. The room was clean with a huge comfortable bed, even plenty of pillows. There were all the usual facilities including free wifi and a room safe. We... More

Stayed here several times for work meetings. Would not be my choice. Staff are very nice. Last time I stayed corridors being painted and the fumes caused me to move. This time, although I asked for a quiet room on my booking, they placed me directly opposite double lift doors. So I was moved to a lower floor on the... More

Very handy for those attending Gartnavel Hospital or The Beatson Cancer Center, which we were. Booked by phone for a change and when I mentioned I was a patient at the Beatson I was immediately offered "Beatson rates" which knocked a few pounds off the bill. I was very impressed with this. The hotel is old so we make allowances.... More

This is the third time i have used this hotel and nothing changes. The rooms and bathrooms still need a deep clean it all feels a little grubby which is a shame because the lobby etc is fantastic. The hotel is in a great place for getting into Glasgow the bus is cheap (£1.95) and regular,if like me you like... More

Stayed here twice now, rooms vary quite a bit but both have dinky bathrooms with a dinky bath, decent shower, small sink and loo. Big king size beds, decent pillows. Only a few tv channels working and no radio at all. Wifi constantly drops out which is annoying. G12 is a funny area really, nicest part of glasgow by far... More

Nicely refurbished and in such a great location for getting into and out of Glasgow. Breakfast was first class as was the service - and the smiles were genuine too. It really snowed that night and first thing in the morning two staff were out clearing the ice and snow to make the paths at least safe to walk -... More
