stayed here for 3 nights recently, staff were all nice, the food was amazing so we ate there each night rather than going elsewhere. beds were comfy and we all slept well. Sadly the cleanliness of our rooms will stop us from returning. we were on the 3rd floor, and other family members were on the 1st floor - their... More

Three of us stayed here for a girlie break. Hotel doesn't look too nice from the outside, but when you step inside its totally different, staff are very pleasant and helpful, from reception, the bar, restaurant and chambermaids. The room had a double bed and a single, it had everything in it that we needed and was clean. The bathroom... More

Just stayed a week in The Pond whilst working in Glasgow, and it was fine. Room ideal with a big comfy bed. All the staff I found to be friendly and helpful. WIFI was intermittent and I presume overloaded at times. The lack of tv channels was a bit disappointing but not a big issue for me. What did bother... More

The staff on booking in and in the bar and restaurant were all friendly and helpful. The hotel gives and impression of being tired. My room was cramped with a double bed and bunk beds with 2 feet of it. The bathroom was cramped and badly designed. I could not wash or clean my teeth at the sink without banging... More

Glasgow Pond Hotel is a really nice hotel, looks nice and is very clean. We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice and the rest of the hotel looked great. Not too far from the centre of town in a car and all of the staff were very helpful. We ordered room service and the food was excellent!... More

Stayed recently for 1 night on way up to Highlands. The bedroom was very good, comfortable and plenty of room for 2 people. The bathroom was a bit on small side but it was only for 1 night. As a previous reviewer has said the TV and channels were a joke. Only 7 channels very basic for a 3 star... More

Currently 10 days into a 2 week booking at the ponds hotel. Have thoroughly enjoyed my stay and cannot be more impressed with the friendly and helpful staff, clean and modern room and lastly bar and restaurant within the lobby of the hotel. The food has been great and very reasonably priced. The hotel is in a very handy place... More

Was very happy with this hotel - upon arrival the receptionist was pleasant and informative - then having a late finish from work & getting back to hotel 2.30am the nightstaff were exceptional also . The rooms were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and everything worked as it should . Would recommend this Hotel highly .

My wife & I spent the last weekend in March at the Pond, as we were visiting family & friends from our new home in North Yorkshire. I'll deal with the negative aspects of our stay first, saving the best for last - as they say. *The lack of luggage carts at Reception is obviously due to the fact that... More

My husband and I booked and had our wedding here. I can't believe how well the staff were with us. We were put at ease from the point of booking to the point of saying I do! The meals and rooms were brilliant. Tracy the events manager made the whole day run smoothly. And I would highly recommend this to... More
