We stayed here as it was described as being near to the stadium where we were going to see Take That. The hotel were helpful in providing directions on how to get TO the stadium but not how to get back when the buses and trains had stopped running - and taxis were charging a fortune and private hire weren't... more

Nice, clean, good location and good price. Breakfast is very basic, but ok for that price. Downtown is in walking distance. Bin there for one night in June and the only downturn is that the hotel does not have a own parking so you have to park 100 yards away, but price 5 Pounds is ok. more

Whilst the hotel provided everything I could expect of an Express by Holiday Inn, to be hyper-critical, I would mention the 2 following points : 1) The carpets in the rooms were badly stained. Whilst they were clean (in that they had been hoovered etc.), nasty stains on a carpet are not a pleasant sight when you first walk into... more

just what you expect from an Express by Holiday Inn All parts of the hotel were clean and fresh looking although its about time that the chain's decor was updated. All the staff were friendly and efficient The location is pretty close to the town centre although late at night it could seem a bit lonely if you were walking... more

I managed to get this hotel for an employee rate so before I got there I was onto a winner. Hotel was clean and the reception staff were ok. The room was clean and the added tea making facilities was a nice thing to have. My only gripe were the lack of any decent TV channels. Breakfast was good too,... more

I travel for business quite a bit. I normally stay in Holiday Inn Expresses because they are better than average and they are a good price. It is comforting to know what the hotel will be like before you show up. This one was disappointing. The room was not well maintained, the breakfast was a bowl of cereal and a... more

Smallish room, but very clean and quiet. Friendly staff, great variety for the continental breakfast. Close to attractions, shopping and central station in Glasgow central. Inexpensive and no frills, but cozy and safe. more

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 1 night in April 09. The hotel is in a central location handy for shopping areas and eating places. However it is located on a very busy corner with constant cars and buses passing. With the window slighty open it was impossible to hear the TV. I had to telephone reception at midnight... more

I was only in Glasgow for a quick overnight stop and being an Express I wasnt expecting much. However, from the warm greeting, early check in and clean room to the attentive staff (thank you Andrew) and spacious room I left feeling very impressed. The breakfast waswell prepared and the bar was clean with a nice atmophere but the high... more
