The hotel is very well located, in the central Glasgow, very close the Glasgow Central Station. The staff is spectacular, kind and very polite. The cust/benefits is great. A simple, however good breakfast, my oobservation is about the shower, it was with lower water pressure, just it. I would book it again.

This hotel is revolting. The only good point was I did sleep very well in the tiny queen size bed for 2 adults, which I was very surprised at. The room price seems reasonable but I actually think it was overpriced now. Shan't be back. Don't be fooled by the Charles Rennie Mackintosh name, there is no style here.

The bright side is that the location is excellent, with lots of cool shops, bars and restaurants conveniently located. Which gained them the extra star. The price wasn't too bad, we were charged £68 per night, including breakfast. Now let's get real, the room was old, in serious need of redecoration, but most importantly really dirty. The carpet looked tired... More

If you want a city centre inexpensive hotel this is a good choice. The room I had was basic but very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. There were some nice touches (complimentary water in the room for that dry mouth the next morning!) and also nice biscuits. Breakfast was included but unfortunately I didn't make that. There was a... Stayed here for one night & was disappointed. The location is ideal, as it is a stone's throw away from shops etc. Reception staff were friendly, but took far too long to check in & go through what I assume are day-to-day procedures. Also, was asked to leave my key at reception if I was leaving & had to wait... More

For a budget hotel experience with a bit of character and different from the major budget chains, this is ideal. A clean, comfortable room with good shower, TV and tea/coffee facilities, it has all required for visit to Glasgow. Breakfast in the Rennie Macintosh styled dining room competes with any previous experience for value. Friendly staff, 24 hours makes this... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room basic but comfy. 10 mins from centre but up lots of hills. Breakfast was fine. Suitable for students. No lift in hotel and steps up to reception. Not suitable for those with mobility problems

I travelled to Glasgow with friends (we are 3 girls) and we had a triple room in the Rennie Mackintosh Art School Hotel. We were very happy with our stay. The hotel has a quirky feel to it, and has more personality than your average budget hotel. It was very close to lots of bars, restaurants and the main shopping... More

Booked a family room for 1 adult and 2 children, room was a good size, with a double bed and single bed. Overall the room was run down and in need of some repairs and TLC, plus there was a used tissue just sat on the windowsill, which made me wonder if the room had actually been cleaned! The room... My friend and I stayed here one night and were very pleased on arrival. The room (room 3) was pleasant, modern, clean and comfortable. The twin room had a double and a single bed which I was impressed by. The location was ideal, 2 mins walk from Sauchiehall Street and 15 mins walk from Glasgow Central Station. All in all... More
