Mum and I have stayed here quite a few times whilst coming to Glasgow and always enjoy our stay. The room this time was of a good size though we were located on the street side so quite a bit of noise, nonetheless we slept like logs! Staff very helpful and friendly as always. Breakfast is a good variety of... More

Cheap hotel. Bedding white and clean. Nice breakfast. More b&b than hotel. Stairs are a killer. Need a lift. Staff friendly. Good for the money. Windows need work. Mine rattled all night. Overall good for a short break. Not good for a long stay though. Not enough amenities.

We stayed here not long after staying in Paris and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, huge! Clean room, very comfy bed and very helpful staff. For the price of the room its very good value, the rooms are modern, albeit in an old building. Bathrooms a bit dated but none the less useable and clean.

Very friendly receptionist as was the night porter. Room was nice and modern. There was a slight bash in the toilet door and small mark on the wall but no big deal really. Perfect location for Sauchiehall street which has quite a lot of gig venues. All in all pleasant stay. Don't understand all the bad reviews as this is... More

Stayed here for a concert in Glasgow 23rd, had a mix up regarding a late check out which resulted in our late check out not being passed over, the housekeeping staff came into our room at 9.30 am!!! Even though ordinary Chexk out isn't till half ten let alone out extended stay which was supposed to be 12!! We then... More

we stayed there on friday night for a gig, price was excellent £68 for B&B for 2, room was small but adequate, staff were friendly, breakfast was as expected for the cheap price paid, we will defo be back to stay, location is great and ideal for night out or shopping, not far from queen street station or buchanan galleries/sauchiehall... I booked this for the central location, but was dismayed to find there was no lift at all. Reception from the street level was up 2 flights of steep stairs, and my single room was up another 4 flights and 2 floors! I walk with a stick so this was not great. At the top there were 2 firedoors without... More

Good location: just beside the Glasgow Central Railway Station, and loads of restaurants and stores around. Good price: not expensive. Good staff: friendly and willing to help. And the both the bedroom and bathroom are clean. Carpets seems quite new. There's an electrical kettle and a bottle of mineral water in the bedroom.

Good location, dated interiors but adequate room and poor staff, a phone call at 10.29 telling us to check out and 2 phonecalls before 11 was a little excessive. Its fairly common to assume a check out is 11am. At least the pleasant night porter had some jovial input to this place.

Hotel is very very dated and the rooms are in real need of some TLC.. The wallpaper was ripped, the tiles in the bathroom all cracked, shower cubicle falling to bits, however, it was extremely cheap and brilliant value if you just need somewhere to put your head down and it was also clean. The staff on the other hand... More
