This hotel was so bad I checked out after one hour. Room on the top floor via narrow stairs. My room made me depressed as soon as I entered. Just needs a complete overhaul. Scruffy and grubby. No wifi in the bedrooms. Tried to work in the communal lounge with Jeremy Kyle on the TV! The Grasshopper hotel is about... More

We visited the hotel in July 2015 as a part of our tour to Skotland, on our quick stop to Glasgow. We found the hotel from booking.com. The hotel was dissapointment and compared to our other accommodations, it did not meet the expectations in relation to the price. The location of the hotel is good, just next to the Art... More

Stayed here one night with friends when we were going to a concert. Great location close to pubs and restaurants. The rooms were basic, clean and comfortable. Our room had been recently refurbished. The staff were helpful and friendly. Would definetly stay here again.

The hotel is brilliantly situated in the middle of Glasgow and close to everything you will need. The staff were friendly and helpful for myself there are too many steps and no lift but they found me a room on a lower floor which was ideal

This hotel is just a short walk from the station and is situated centrally in Glasgow. The road outside is a little noisy however the hotel is is nice with friendly staff. Breakfast was nice and served with a smile. We stayed in Glasgow overnight for a gig and the hotel was in the perfect location for both the train... More

I stayed here for one night recently as I was attending a concert with my Husband in the Barrowlands. Four flights of stairs with luggage and the room wasn't ready. One pillow each. No body wash for a shower. Broken chair in front of wardrobe holding the doors shut as they wouldn't stay shut on their own. Three clothes hangers.... More

Don't book this hotel if you cannot afford to pay a cancellation fee (full room rate). My 17yr old daughter recently booked this hotel for herself and 3 friends. Unfortunately 2 friends took ill and they had to cancel the room. My daughter explained this to both Booking.com and to the Hotel Manager and I also called the Hotel Manager... More

Location is central but up a very steep hill, I already knew this before booking, so wasnt a problem. however, while in the room with my two friends, I dropped my tablets I need to take, so I got my friends to lift the beds while I checked underneath...I really wish we hadn't!! It was filthy, everything from sauxers, sweeties... More

Anyone that's looking to stay at this hotel, or more so should I say 'hostel', DONT. The walls were dirty, there was blood and other unknown stains on the mattress, the bedsheets had some sort of brown marking on them which may I add was not a tea or coffee stain... and don't even get me started on the bathroom!!...
