I have stayed at Malmaison in Glasgow several times, both for business and leisure. In fact, it is my number 1 choice in Glasgow. I just have never got round to writing a review before. This trip, I was entertaining clients. As usual, the hotel lived up to its expectation. I had a great room above reception. My other 9... more

We stayed for one night for our wedding anniversary. Very disappointed. The room was a superior double & was o.k. but not fantastic for the price paid. It was a horrible rainy/windy day in Glasgow & the tiny portion of window was left open for us but the room was very hot with no air-con at all. We had to... more

Stayed two nights in the Malmaison over the World Pipe Band Championships weekend in Glasgow. This hotel is normally outwith my budget, even as a Travel Agent, but I had found a good deal and was delighted. The hotel was excellent in most respects, especially the breakfast which was the best I have had in a U.K. hotel for a... more

Our room was very small but we were staying courtesy of Airmiles so we weren't expecting the presidential suite. It was well presented with a pleasant modern décor, large comfy bed and a good en-suite. The hotel was quiet, centrally located and the breakfast was excellent. However, there were two factors that made our stay at Malmaison average rather than... more

We got a good deal £138 for two nights, but disappointed with room. Rather small with stains on the valance of the bed. Think the bathroom had been converted for disabled use, as sink was very low. Shower screen not adequate so whole bathroom flooded. Shaver point not working nor was the mini bar 'fridge. Surprise at the amount of... more

We got a cheap hotel and rail deal which was a good job as we would have been gutted if we had paid full price of £375 for 2 nights. The first room was very small and dingy so we asked for another room and the staff were happy to move us. (I do think you get a better room... more

Stayed 2 nights at beginning of honeymoon, reception staff were very friendly and polite, despite us stumbling in at 1.30am more than a little tipsy! Room was lovely, although carpet could be doing with replacing as very mucky at door. Breakfast was lovely and delivered to the room in a huge hamper! Food in restaurant was also very nice, hardly... more

Booked into hotel by work and after reading reviews had some concerns - however from the free cocktail to the very prompt breakfast service and the clean and tidy room I was very more than happy with my over night stay. more

We stayed at the Malmaison Glasgow with some trepidation after reading some of the reviews. But I got a great rate on their website for a Sunday night stay and decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did. The room we got was lovely and light with two large floor to ceiling windows and a comfortable... more

I booked the hotel and because the city was busy that weekend I ended up having to pay full price. I did manage to haggle to get the breakfast included, but for £220 it the least I could have expected. Check in on the Friday the room we were allocated was v small and after requesting a room change we... more
